Kay-Bee Hoppers lounged in the cool waters of the Garden, their singular orb of an eye glowing a soft green as it lazily slid along the surface of the water. Following along the edge of the glass-dome that was their head, the Hoppers twitched on occasion, others jumping their little bodies onto land before leaping into the bushes. They could be seen later, rapidly cleaning the glass on the ceiling.
Somewhere in the distance the cap atop a man's head rose and fell steadily, a sure sign of his sleeping. His light snoring didn't seem to arouse anyone's interest, even as a panel to his left flashed a dull red. Without an audio warning, it seemed that the sensors relied on the man's careful attention...
One could only wonder what purpose the little spider-bot served.

Staring at him only a moment as he seemed puzzled by her unexplained question, Hashii straighted up and began walking towards the man. She stopped when they were only inches apart and looked right into his face, which she actually had to look up to do so considering she wasn't that tall.
"... Who are you?" She sounded nothing but curiosity, and appeared to have forgotten even mentioning her previous question. She had an innocent face, which wasn't forced, that was just the way she looked, not noticing how uncomfortable Sarin may have been with her standing so close.

He was off-duty, really, he shouldn't had to have dealt with uppity soldiers. Still, she was off-duty to, so her interests were about as valid as his own. That thought alone caused him to grit his teeth slightly, his eyes glittering softly with defiance. He was used to people getting up in his face, and now that he was fully aware of Hashii, he wasn't all too worried. In fact it helped that he had to tilt his gaze down a little to meet her eyes.
"I am Captain Sarin." He answered her, the slight emphasis obviously mentioned to test her response. If her current behaviour was any clue she'd likely ignore him, or simply scoff, giggle, chuckle, whatever. Most of the angels like Hashii had a way of being able to ignore most levels of command without punishment, save perhaps the central command staff and KB himself. "And you are?" He asked, hoping that perhaps this question might be answered.

"... Captain Sarin..." She said this quietly to herself, but not thinking much if he had heard her. His question snapped her back to reality, in which she replied, "I am Hashii." She was trying to imitate how he had introduced himself, not in a mocking way, more of she just figured that's how you were suppose to do it.
Her idiotic behaviour made her resemble a certain older sister she had unfortunately forgotten about.

GTN. ZEETA cockpit:
A lone figure sat on one of the two cushion covered seats, placed for the comfort of pilot and co-pilot of long shuttle runs, idly tapping at the pannel before him. A large and imposing figure his bulky frame engulfed the seat entirely, broad shoulders and broad chest, with thick legs and a powerful torso. Large was a gross understatement at this seven foot three giant of a man. Dark black hair, streaked and slashed with dull gray of elder years, hung in a loose, as well as messy, tail down his neck. His beard, of similar color, fanned down his armored chest. Armor, metalic and silvery in it's beauty, made the figure larger than he was, though the height was only altered inches. "GTN. ZEETA to the Cradle" This figure's voice came through a silvery metalic plate half-helm, lips cracked and bleeding, "Transmitting docking codes. Send confirmation of docking via High Frequency Link: One-zero-zero-seven-echo-three. Repeating- HFL: One-zero-zero-seven-echo-three, repeat back."
A tedius and often time over looked proceedure, docking request and confirmation would normally have been by-passed with the simple transmission of Tegral's Elite's code, only this cargo was far to valuable to risk. As such Tegral had promised a full review of everything from the ship's log, likely SARAH was watching every move he made and spying on every thought that ran through his cybernetic enhanced mind. Oh how he longed for an advanced AI, but alas such reserves were granted only upon Tegral's direct orders. Any violators were found and killed, no trial or jury. It wasn't an execution so much as murder, but it didn't bother him too much, nope. He could wait, he's been waiting this long already. Now it was time to sit back and let the Cradle's docking team relay confirmation of the HFL, give him docking permission, then he could sit all comfy-cozy while he waited for the Admiral to up into the station so he could deliver the package.

Sarin might've been annoyed by Hashii, were she not so... naive. It was luring him into a false sense of security despite his better instincts, and he found himself reaching to the side to pluck a flower from the bushes. It was a vibrant red thing, the wide bell-shaped petals splashed with violent stripes of orange, as if a bucket of paint had been thrown across a wall. Twirling the flower by the stem in his hand, he took a slight step back before bringing it up to his nose, breathing in the strong scent of the thing before leaning forwards to offer it to her. "Pretty." He remarked casually, his eyes falling upon her form as opposed to the flower.
It seemed a bit redundant for someone with Tegral's clearance to be relaying docking codes manually, and so it took a moment for the bay-operator to really get a hold of things. A moment later however the code was being repeated back clearly, even as fingers thrummed across a console. Up on the command deck a young officer tapped a couple of blinking buttons, raising a brow at the confirmation.
Seemed this delivery might be a bit important.

Docking codes confirmed, engines roaring to life, and the GTN. ZEETA was sailing the stars closer and closer to the Cradle. For such an important delivery, important it must have been to warrent on of Tegral's elites stepping through the books for every detail, it was odd to see it in the confines of a simple shuttle. Slender and sleek the craft looked made for speed rather than attack, a definate contradiction to the way Tegral usually handled things - where the might of arm would usually plow a way through any hostile forces. A secure com-link jumped from the ship to...empty space. "GTN. ZEETA to GTN. Iron Horn, thanks for the hand boys." Went out the transmission to the depths of space, completely vacume save the cosmic dust being flittered about constantly beyond scope. And, just as strange, a secure com-link jumped back to the shuttle from empty space. "GTN. Iron Horn here. Not a problem Commander Rookin, always happy to help. Just remember to return the favor should the need ever arise." A breif chuckle was all that was heard as the GTN. Iron Horn deactivated her Active Camoflauge to expose herself in all her splendor. Fourteen different launcher bays, thirty full hybrid turret hard points. Six war-fare link moduals to couple the cavernous fighter bay located not to far from one of the twenty artillery cannons arming the battleship's broad side.
Now the puny little shuttle made more sense as the GTN. Iron Horn suddenely bloomed to life all over the Cradle's sensory systems, being flagged immediately as a friendly by the ship's onboard AI system. The hulking ship was easily large enough to decimate most small fleets on it's own with those massive guns it was lugging around, coupled with the two others floating just out of warp detection range made for a very fierce force indeed. Poor Akvians probably saw the destroyer escorts and thought for easy pickings, until the trio battleship combo dropped camo and decimated them. Poor-poor fools.
A small smile adorning his lips the old man, Rookin, activated his auto-pilot guiding system, trusting it to see him and the cargo safely inside the Cradle, and went to go wake the guards up. Oh he was getting too old for this.

Hashii looked down at the flower, then up at Sarin, then back down at the flower, taking it ever so carefully from his hand. She was immediately mesmerized by the vibrant red and orange colors mixing together in a splash of life, looking as blank as ever but feeling overwhelmed by its beauty. Even though there were many flowers all over the garden, this one seemed to put her in awe. "... Pretty." She spoke softly, but audible, her hands gently twirling the flower as she'd seen the Captain had been doing before.

The young officer gulped audibly, paling at the mere sight of what had flashed upon the screen. For the briefest moment, when it had merely aroused from nowhere like a spectre... what if it had been an enemy? Not that it mattered really, as the entire station was hardwired together in one way or another. Just sloppy guys running the show while the commanders were gone.
It was really just a stroke of luck that they weren't being beset by hostile forces.

He took a moment to straighten his uniform before taking a step to the side and proceeding past her. "Walk with me." He told her simply, his tone gentle as he passed by her. He of course timed his steps slow enough so that she might follow him along the grass path, his gaze subtly sliding in her direction. He wouldn't turn to look at her again, but rather simply wanted to know if she decided to follow.

GTN. ZEETA's landing pads stomped down on the landing bay of the Cradle's sheltering protection, the metalic paint scuffed and charred where laser and balistic fire wracked it's hull in a futile effort on the Akvian's part to destroy the shuttle and escort of destroyers. Unfortunately all destroyers perished in the ambush, but in a brighter note three times their numbers were completely decimated when the GTN. Iron Horn and her brothers entered the engagement with guns ablazing and blood running hot in anger. Steam hissed from the pressure locking mechinism as the cargo ramp filled with ozone, the riggors of the battle having actually comprimised the capability for biologic beings to be in the shuttle for more than a few seconds. Almost a full minute of hissing, steam blowing out so hot it seered the nerve endings shut before it simply melted the flesh from your body, before something else finally happened. A dull thrum of motorized engines underhymed with the hissing as the loading ramp decended.
Second Commander Rookin Maheel decended the metal grate of the ramp, the silvery metal of his armor gleaming in the light of the docking bay. With KB's odd fixation on religious styled icons, the entire Cradle resembling a massive cross, it wasn't very strange to see this being who seemed to shine with holy energies. A suit of sparkling true silver Rookin looked a great paladin warrior, a heavy headed morning star - spikes jutting like a giant metal porcupine - hanging from a belt woven from sparkling cloth-of-silver and a massive silver tower-kite shield lined along the edges with a gold that seemed to radiate next to the ptrue silver. Unscaved was his armor and weapon, seemingly untouched in combat, was a direct contradiction to the weathered old man wearing it. Skin darkened in the sun as well as on the battle field, lips chapped and cracked, with eyes that burned with the intesity of a warrior. He looked as if he himself had just left the field of battle, gauntleted fists clentched tightly at his side as he strode from the confines of the shuttle and dark brown eye scanning the interior under his true silver plate half-helm.

The state of the shuttle was to be expected, as were the protocols of avoiding such a thing until the situation was resolved. It was merely a matter of time before the ramp had dropped and relative safety was secured. Though no one dared to obstruct the path of the commander, people busily went to work with making sure everything else was in order.
Rookin had the station at his disposal, every square inch at his fingertips.

Again his words brought her out of the small universe she tended to dwell in, looking up to finally realized he had already began to walk away. She followed after him obidiently, her eyes wandering off onto the garden, then back to the path they were taking, and occasionally up at Captain Sarin. All the while her hands continued to slowly twirl the flower, first one way, then back the other.
Hashii wasn't one to question why or rebel against her orders, she just thought she was to do as she was told. However, the thought never crossed her mind if she were to have conflicting orders...

The young man continued to walk, his hands slipping behind his back. There, the right sat in the soft hold of the left, cupped gently and nestled against himself as he walked. Arching his neck, he peeked up between the tree branches at the occasional glimpse of the eternal night, other ties simply observing the fowers. It was about a minute before he spoke to Hashii again. "So tell me, Hashii, what brings you here?" He asked her, stopping to turn and look at her directly.

Hashii paused from making their way down the path when she failed to hear Sarins footsteps, turning towards him and staring up at his face as he had similarly done. The flower in her hands also resisted from moving, a small silence taking over as she thought quietly to herself. She wasn't exactly sure how to answer his question, so she replied what she thought best, "KB..." As simple as it was, he was basically the only reason she was even there in the first place.
