From Prompt One
Whoa. Some weird looking person just approached you about becoming a parent... to a piece of paper. What do you say when they come back for an answer? How did they find out about you to begin with?

Alarai growled as someone knocked on the door. "I’ll get it." Papina called out from her room. She managed to get all the way to the living room before Alarai cut in front of her, scowling. Papina rolled her eyes, but headed back to her room without a complaint. She was used to her mom’s paranoia/fear of the Templars coming to their house. She didn’t think it likely, but it was best if she just humored her mother. Alarai grumbled as she headed for the door and opened it a crack, wishing yet again that she could both find a peephole and figure out how to install it. "Yes?" she gruffly asked, not instantly recognizing the person outside her door since they were too short to be Mr. Mysterious. A soft, familiar voice asked, "May I come in, Alarai?" Alarai's eyes got wide, but she opened the door wider to admit Nara into the house before she firmly shut the door once the scroll relic was safely inside. Nara pulled the hood of her cloak back before looking at Alarai, who winced when she saw how gaunt the scroll relic was. Nara sighed before pulling out a scroll case-shaped bundle to hold in both hands. "I know you have been having your hands full with Papina, but you've been doing such a wonderful job..." Alarai's eyes were drawn to the bundle as Nara carefully pulled away some of the wrapping, revealing a scroll case. Another scroll child? Alarai wondered before she looked up to gaze into Nara's eyes. Nara closed her eyes briefly, before sighing and opening them again. "Please, Alarai..." She held the scroll out. Alarai sputtered, "Ah... Of course..." before she held her hands out. Nara dropped the case into Alarai's hands, tucking the protective fabric into one of the cloak's pockets. She pulled the hood back up and ghosted towards the door. Alarai gripped the case's strap tightly in one hand as she dashed forward to open the door for Nara. Nara gave Alarai a nod and walked through the door, leaving Alarai with a scroll whose image she didn't know, and several questions, such as Why me?
