Last night I had a few funky dreams.
The first dream:
For some reason I was in a deli. Oddly enough I wasn't phased by it, whereas in real life I nearly throw up whilst walking through the meat section of the supermarket(yea... I'm a vegetarian...). Well anyways, it was a small neighborhood-type shop... not a chain store or anything. The shop was pretty small. There was one counter/case type thing that was about seven feet long, and a bed(I think it was queen-sized) off to the corner of the room. There were some fabric streamers hanging from the ceiling on one side of the bed.
In the store there were about five to seven guys(I don't remember exactly how many) they were probably between the ages of 21 to about 37. They were all hanging around chatting and seemed really happy and friendly. I was there sitting on the bed and chatting with them as well. The girl who keeps re-appearing in my dreams was there too, sitting next to me on the bed. I started batting at the streamers, and then the streamers started to fall off onto me. They weren't hurting me or anything, I was just kida entangled, but I just jokingly yelped "Nuuuu! The streamers are attacking me! Help meh! ;-;" Everyone let out a little laugh at my struggling to get the streamers off of myself, then the girl clung to me and kissed me on the cheek! All the guys thought that we were really cute together. ^_^
The second dream:
I was in my 30's and I was married. I had an adopted daughter who was about five or so. We all lived in a fairly large, older home. I believe it was near the ocean.
Anyways, I don't remember much of the dream, except one little tidbit. Me and my wife were asleep in our room, when our daughter came running in, screaming and crying, and said that she had had a nightmare about ghosts. When she came running in I remember she was holding a bunny plushie, one that I do have in real life, and have had since I was a baby.
Anyways, me and my wife moved apart a bit, and let her sleep with us. We both held her, told her everything was going to be ok, and gave her a few kisses. She fell asleep right away as I stroked her hair softly.
The weird thing about that dream though, is I really don't want kids, yet in the dream I was really happy to have my daughter. The dream also seemed, really, really realistic. I swear it felt as if I were really there... comforting the daughter I don't have, holding the wife I don't know.
I also remember a few random details about my dream. My daughter had blond hair and blue eyes, and was a beautiful child. She was wearing a long, white cotton nightgown. I was wearing pjamas that are similar to what I normally wear now, just normal pj bottoms and a t-shirt. My hair was shorter than it is now, but not too short. It was probably a few inches past my shoulders. I think it was in a ponytail, but I can't remember. My wife had hair a bit shy of shoulder length and either a dark-brown or black color. She was about my height and build, though a bit shorter, and perhaps a bit thinner. Her pajamas were similar to mine, except she was wearing short bottoms. Our bedroom had green and yellow striped wallpaper that looked like it was from the 1930's. Our bed had a brass headboard, and was antique, I believe. There were two bedside tabels, I think they might have had a lamp, an alarm clock, some books, and a few empty glasses on them, but no other furniture in the room. The floors were a light-colored wood, and were varnished, but not excessivly glossy. There was no carpet in the room. The door was in the exact center of the wall directly opposit our bed. It was a darkly stained wood, and had an antique brass doorknob with a flower design on it. I dunno... I remember all these little details about one quick scene, but can't remember a single bit of any other part of the dream.

TheMikoKikyou2232 Well, I had this dream that I've been having for three nights straight. In my dream, everyone close to me, except for three of my friends, and my baby sister are all killed in a horrible sick manner. In my dream, I can always feel, smell, and even hear. I can feel the texture of the blood of the others all over me, to the point it makes me sick, even if I'm asleep. Anways, so near the end after eight people are killed, me, my two friends, and my baby sister managing to escape outside of the building. Yes, everyone had been killed in this once building which I think is meant to be a hotel. Right as we get to an alleyway, we're cornered by the killer. I can't really identify what the person looks like at first, for the figure is shadowed. I manage to get my friends to climb over the fence stopping us before the person finally steps in to the moonlight. What scares me is, the killer IS me. Like part of me is sitting there scared to death and helping my living friends, and the other part of me is the one killing them. Right as the good half of me gets shot, I wake up to feel a throbbing pain in my chest. For three nights this dream has been haunting me. Perhaps the meaning of that all is that you have a deeply hidden destructive side to you, which is longing to be unleashed. I do think that I perhaps have a hidden destructive side to myself as well, but it can be kept under control because the good in me is much stronger than the negative destructive force... at times I feel as though I could indeed kill, yet I know that if I were to follow those urges(which are extremely rare, and usally pass forbut a fleeting moment), I would feel really guilty afterwards... the guilt would probably kill me. Heck, the other day I accidentaly stepped on an ant, and the fact that I killed the poor, helpless ant has been haunting me ever since.

Oasakami Also, I have been working on my Lucid Dreaming skills and have figure out that if you are in a dream, then the lighting can't change. For example if in your dream you are out side, try covering your eyes, if things don't darken, then you know you're in a dream. Or if you're inside, you could try the same thing or try turning on or off a light switch. ^.^ Me ish proud of myself! { Took me a while to figure it out though! scream } Lucid dreaming is oh-so fun! ^.^ The method whih I've found works best for me in termsof lucid dreaming, is if I daydream myself to sleeep while constantly reminding myself that I can control what is happening... so when I finally drift off to sleep I'll usally remember that I can control what is happening becauseit's my mind, not real life.

I just rememberd somthing that happened to me a while ago...
Last summer I was camping out with my dad in upstate New York. There was a herkimer diamond mine nearby so were going to go mining the next day. That night I had a dream where I went to the mine and found lots of fairly large diamonds. (In the dream there was an eagle who was guiding me... it later turned out that he was one of my spirit guides...)
Anyways, the next day I went to the mine. It was exactly as it had been in my dream. I proceeded to go to the area where I had found a large amount of gems in my dream, and lo and behold, there were tons of diamonds glistening in the soil, just as they were in my dream.

Wow...that sparks a reminder in me. How do you know if what you''ve dreamt is telling you something about the past, present or future? Why do you only lucid dream, or wake up in your dream sometimes? I mean...if you don''t lucid dream for a particular dream...is that dream meant to tell you something? And if you lucid dream, is that only a dream for play and fun? How are you supposed to tell? I mean, what if something gets messed up and you wake up inside of a dream that is meant to be telling you something, and you screw up the message somehow? gonk

When I was 8 I had a really wierd dream. It goes like this:
I woke up in my bunkbed, but it was a dream. The room I woke up in had two windows across from each other, a door, and under one of the windows there was a simple wooden drawer with two drawers.(My house was in space,I think its because I watched Starwars that day) The carpet was like a greyish-faded purple color(my dream was in color) The place looked very real, oh and the room was dimly light. My family came in the room in their PJs, expeat my dad came in last. He came in last because he was fighting in a war outside, so he had a Starwars (clone) fighting suit. He was bleeding, and had lots of scars. I then looked in the first drawer and found a huge crytsle in it, the same one I was playing with earlyer that day. Then I placed the crytsle in the middle of the room, and my family formed a circle around it. Then I started chanting words I didn't know. Then poof! It was morning and the sun was already out. By the way, when I was in the dream and tryed to wake up, I couldn't. And the crytsle called me and told me(thourgh my mind) that I would have to use him to get back home, but he had to give himself in return. Later that day I went looking for that crstyle, but couldn't find it.

Man, I've been trying lucid dreaming for about 4 months now. I've been checking to see if I'm dreaming (while I'm awake) every time I remember. That way, it becomes routine to check if you're dreaming. From it, however, I've only had about three VERY short lucid dreams within this time. It's very hard for me sweatdrop Perhaps I'll try your method. Sounds like it'd work very well biggrin Also, have you ever been to the LD4all forums? (ld4all.com) It's a pretty awesome place. There's also: http://www.spiritual.com.au/articles/astral/faq_ld2_lfoleide.htm^Lot's of good Lucid dreaming techniques.

Somthing really wierd just happened to me today.
Last night I had a dream. I only remember a snippit of it, but I was in my room, sitting on my top bunk talking to my friend Steph (who I have sorta of a crush on... but she's taken... damn! ><). She was standing on my ladder, and we were talking about our exes. I only have one ex, and the relationship lasted a week. But anyways, I mentioned her name was Jen. Steph told me that she had dated a girl named Jen before, and described her as being similar to my Jen, so out of curiosity I asked her if she had dated Jen (insert last name here), and she said yes. So we had a little conversation about her and how she's really quite quiet, and rather horny too. Then our conversation drifted to somthing else, I believe that it had somthing to do with love but I don't quite remember. I can't really remember anything past that point.
Well, anyways, today in real life I went to the bookstore with my mom. As I was walking down the sidewalk twoards the bookstore I noticed a girl in front of me. Honestly I try my best to keep from checking out girls unless I know they're not straight, but for some reason I couldn't help myself this time, despite the fact that she was with a guy. I could only see her back, but her hair and backside were gorgeous, and seemed strangely familiar. She turned her head slightly and I managed to catch her profile, and I realized that it was Jen. What was even more ironic was that on our only date we had walked that same path, and gone to the bookstore to kill some time before going to the movies.
I dunno. It seems pretty wierd that she would've shown up in my dream (mind you, this was the only time she had ever been in my dreams) and then that day I happened to see her at the same place as our one date had taken place. I have a strong feeling that it means somthing important, but I can't quite seem to figure out what. sweatdrop

xenerayx confused I always have dreams about my ex boyfriend. What is this supposed to mean?? I have a lot of dreams about my ex-girlfriend! I'm not sure at all what it could mean but perhaps: http://dreammoods.com/could help you out a bit. In my last dream with my ex, I was driving away from the mall which had a hedge-maze-type exit and she kept tickling my feet! I got so annoyed that I bit her neck! I was trying to drive!

Were the pair of you particularly close? I've had four relationships in my life, and it seems that I only ever dream about him, and he was the one whom I was closest too. I wonder if that has anything to do with it??

Ok, well im good at finding out meanings of dreams, but theres this riddle I just cant solve. I often get a dream in which im in a place that feels familar. Sometimes i recognize it as a place i know in better circumstances. Often forests. There are always action things going on in first person. I get these kind of dreams sometimes and cant find out what they mean.
Also, theres this other kind of dream i have. Im always in a place with lots of people and technology. A place which is crowded. Sometimes a themepark, sometimes a city. The thing is that im walking around all the time in a place which is like a maze, every end of a way has more ways to go in. Its like a place you can wander forever, If you want to do something, you never have to wait. Cant figure out what it means tho..
And there are more kind of those weird dreams i cant solve, but i cant remember them very well, because theyre old..

Sometimes i recognize it as a place i know in better circumstances. Often forests. There are always action things going on in first person. I get these kind of dreams sometimes and cant find out what they mean. My theory for this is that it's likely one of two things. A.) Your subconcious mind could be remembering familiar places from past lives, in which case I'd definetly suggust attempting some past-life regression. Or, B.) These could be places you'll encounter later on in your life, even if you see them for but a fleeting moment. One example of this is how I had a dream I lived in an apartment complex that looked like it was from the 1960's or 70's and it had these really wierd gates (I'm unsure of how to describe them), and when I was in Mexico I saw the exact apartment complex, wierd gates included, from my dream as we were driving through the outskirts of Mexico city. I'd elaborate more, but right my mom just made me take some Allegra, so I'm a tad out of it and can't quite focus...
