"That feeling of your heart being gone should have gotten stronger...mine has, despite all my work it's felt farther away than ever before." Saix paused, and cleared his throat. "I think the reason for this is much like the same reason that Roxas is so distant from us...our somebodies are closer to us now than they have ever been. I think they are among those in this world."

"But...."
Ears flat, Demyx stared at Saix for a good few moments, struggling to find the words to continue on.
"If..they're here....wouldn't...wouldn't they have our hearts? How would we get them back? I...I don't want to take it from anyone..."
Somehow, Demyx had to think that the feeling of removing a heart from someone that was essentially him, so he could have his true feelings back, would be worse than the emptiness the Nobodies dealt with.

"We're not going to. But if they are indeed here, much like I informed Roxas to do with the Keyblade master, we should locate our somebodies and bring them here. They could prove to be very valueble in getting our hearts back, or our own hearts."
Saix extended an arm and placed his hand on Demyx's head, making sure to avoid the halo, and spoke as soft as his voice would allow. "We will not be creating more problems than we already have, there is enough pain in our midst than should ever be allowed. This will all end soon."

Demyx had opened his mouth to speak, but quickly quieted back down as Saix placed a hand on his head. It was odd...here he had been simply waiting for Saix to hit him, but when the diviner's touch finally came it was almost...caring? It wasn't something he was used to, but it was quite a nice change of pace.
"I hope so...I don't want to hurt anyone anymore..."

Saix tugged Demyx's head down and stared at him. "Now don't go crying on me! You've got responcibilities now, grow a backbone!" Taking his hand off the young one's head he got back into a comfortable position. "Don't go near that old man again, he's trouble in all sorts of ways."
He made a motion to shoo Demyx away. "Now go, get back to analizing those papers and...try and figure something out about our somebodies and if at all possible, bring Sora to me."

Demyx quickly pulled away from Saix, though in his rush to do so the angelic tumbled right off his spot on the Superior's armrest. Flailing in midair a moment, the angelic quickly opened his wings and flew back up beside Saix.
"You...you aren't going to hurt him...are you?"
The way the angelic was nervously flitting around the throne would show that he actually knew something about the keyblade master. He wasn't, however, very eager to share it.

"Not at all...he's very important to us." Saix was lying, just as he had to Roxas. If he ever were to come in contact with the young keyblade master, he would show him no mercy. But telling Demyx that would not only hurt the trust in him, but also he wasn't sure if he himself could even go through with it when the time came.

Demyx whined, the young one biting on his lip as he struggled to figure out what to do.
"He..he d-doesn't like you..."
This was hard! Demyx had to decide whether to ignore Saix and just leave, or betray Sora and tell that he knew a way to find the keyblade master. The sitarist wasn't too fond of either choice.

"Oh I don't imagine he would...but then again, you wouldn't know why." Saix shifted in his chair, now realized what Demyx had really said. "So you've met him too...what else don't I know, innocent young one?"

"I...c-can't tell you...you m-might hurt him..."
Whimpering in fear, Demyx flew back to put some distance in between himself and the Superior.
"He's my f-friend..I don't want anything to h-happen to him..."

"Fair enough." Saix grunted. "Take what information you have and do as you see fit with it, but remember our task dear Demyx. Don't stray the path of regaining our hearts...you may not like what you see."

"What would I see?"
Demyx slowly flitted closer, wanting to know more but not quite sure how close he wanted to end up to Saix. Though, in the end, the angelic ended up right next to the other...and eventually in his chair...giving him a hug.
"S-saix..I'm sorry...I want to help you..er..us? Really, I do! I just don't want to hurt S-sora in the process..."
Either he had lost his mind, or Demyx was trying to his best to show Saix he cared. It was akward though, for an angelic and demonic to be sitting in a chair, hugging. Hopefully no one else walked in.

Saix clenched his teeth together tight, not returning Demyx's hug. "I can understand that Demyx, now please let me go." He didn't want to shove the young one away, that was just rude, but he really didn't feel comfortable with the angelic hugging him, affection was not a comfort zone for the berserker.
He sighed. "As far as what you would see, it is possible you'd see far worse things than witnessing your own death."

Quick to follow the request, Demyx released the demonic, but stayed put in the chair.
"There's s-s-something worse than t-that?"
The youth whined, ears flat. He really wanted to bury his head into Saix's coat and just ignore the world. But the diviner had already asked him to let him go, so he'd respect that.

"There is always something worse..." Saix rubbed his temples and growled again. "I know you Demyx, I know you hate the thought of it. So just listen to me, and I will do my best to keep the bloodshed minimal..."
