clueless-in-the-forest so, here's what i have to say... this was an alright episode for me....i didnt really like lana's role in clark's alternate reality stare it was like "clark fall at the powers of seduction! muhahaha" twisted mad the real clana scene at the end however was heart-breaking yet great at the same time blaugh they were all so sweet to each other even clex 4laugh that was awesomeness heart cool chalrk had amazing scenes throughtout the episode 3nodding chloe being the only one to believe him may have had some significance...the chlark scene at the kent house was also lovable, i thought a kiss or hug would have been appropriate but i guess not confused @chaos- i agree that the portrayal of clark's insanity wasnt so great neutral i felt it could have been better sweatdrop martian man-hunter- expecting more but cant say much yet because it has only been one episode so far ninja previews for next week looked thrilling especially for clana fans surprised cant wait domokun thanks for the get well wishes heart Ya, I pretty much agree with you. Clark sorta annoyed me in the alternate reality but at the end he as really cute. Well, I'm going to go and watch the Buffy alternate reality episode again so see you peeps!

Al_Chime The buffy version of this was better, but I do find it ironic that both happened during the sixth season of the series. haha, that is odd that it's season 6 that has this kind of episode. maybe because the show is so well established by then, it's okay to take risks???? I dunno. I wonder if Smallville will go for one more season and end with a 7th one like Buffy did? oooh, and then they can have a spin off like Angel. It'll be great. It can be a Justice League spin off and bring back everyone...or most everyone, the superheroes anyways (and then maybe use Chloe as the Oracle!) but yeah, this episode was definately a risk-taker episode, but also just one to play around with and see "what would smallville be like if..." I can't say it's my favorite by any means, but they definately landed on their feet with it.

It was an okay episode...seeing as it has been seen before, again talking about "Normal Again" the buffy episode.
Most of it was Clark and "messed up" Lana. She was really weird all clingy and happy like that. Seriously Clark, do you have no control? So stupidly blinded by her. Get some fricken lasic!
I laughed when the Dr. showed Clark the soap. Ha! You're father's a soap! Other then that, not much fun for me.
Do we really need another reminder or how much Clark still loves Lana? Really, we know. Chloe knows. Heck, she should have at least groaned out of frustration when she heard that again. But no, she is a good friend, best friend Clark could hope for and she will be second best.
I give my props to Shelby. Finally a glimpse and not the "aww so cute" one they usually throw in.
Ending was kinda stupid. The crowds part and Clark sees the one and only Lana Lang. The story about the ring was cute, but also a wonderful piece of fiction. Then Lex comes in and we have our Clexana moment of the week.
More interested in the 1 minute trailer for next week. That should be fun and I can't wait to see how Lana reacts. If she does something stupid, you will here me rant about it forever just as I will here Clana fan bring it up forever and ever.
"It is over forever." Is it just me or does forever seem shorter now a days. Anyways, there is my opinion if anyone cares to read it.

They both ask the same questions. Buffy and Clark were faced with a decision about what life to believe in and too believe in themselves. And they both had doubts of what life would be better. I loved the seen where Joyce told Buffy to believe in herself and then Buffy says that shes right...And then Buffy says Goodbye.

I was surprised that the "alternate evil" Lana didn't really kiss Clark. She is really freaky though, I was waiting for her to turn into some sort of scary parasite thing with multiple legs and arms. Like a praying mantis.

That was about it. I was disappointed that Martian Manhunter didn't get a lot of screen time. What, only three lines?

I love Shelby. It was cool when you realised that the "music" at certain scary parts of the show was actually Shelby barking.
I love the Martian Manhunter. He needed more air time. Perhaps we'll se more of him in a couple episodes since the next one looks like Clark on red-k again. rolleyes I am SO over the red-k thing.
It freaked me out when the doctor's eyes turned black and stuff. I was like "NUUUUUU!!!! gonk ". I'm easily scared.
Way cool episode.

Foetus In Fetu Wait, what? What makes you think Lana is going to die this season? If they keep going with Lana in it they know they can always somehow fall back to Clana which will just seem to be predictable as usual. Kill Lana more chance for Clois or, for the Chlois theorists, Chlark. FaithHopeLove I wonder if Smallville will go for one more season and end with a 7th one like Buffy did? oooh, and then they can have a spin off like Angel. It'll be great. I was thinking along the same lines here, but realized how many other characters they can delve into and establish, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern for instance, on Smallville before going to the spinoff series.

I don't think we will see wonder women, since Joss has the rights for that. And the Chlois theory is nothing more than a fairy tale for Chlark fans.

Then Lex comes in and we have our Clexana moment of the week. I was cringing throughout that whole scene. The conclusion - "I still love Lana, blah blah blah" - didn't follow on from what actually happened. It was weak, and dragged what was otherwise a surprisingly good episode down. You know what would have made sense? If Clark had realised that the Lana he knew in real life was nothing like the Lana he wanted to be with in his "dream world". Not that that Lana was so great. She was way too happy about the prospect of her boyfriend getting a lobotomy. Al_Chime Foetus In Fetu Wait, what? What makes you think Lana is going to die this season? I loved this episode. It was a fresh and original idea from the writers of smallville. I like how the Zoner skewed the alternate reality and twisted things so that they were very differant from what Clark 'beleived' them to be...
I still don't know if martain manhunter ran at super speed or flew away right before Chloe walked in, but it looked like he wasn't in the best control... not saying anything just a comment on the effect they used to depict his quick exit.

I didn't think it was that original seeing as most people have seen this before with a certain slayer. Seeing as Smallville is kinda like Buffy to some extent and that it captures about the same audience, I don't think it is completely original.
I thought the exit of MM was stupid and rushed. I mean, is that all we are going to see from him? Isn't he going to help Clark out some more cause seriously, he needs it. "My top proirity is getting the zoners." Hardly, all that is on your mind at the moment is one girl with the initials LL and she is pregnant and engaged to your worst enemy.
