Takeko fluttered down, landing some distance outside the clearing before walking in to make her entrance. She figured Aspen would already be here by now, but she had no idea that there would be quite THIS many Pae'il here! Blinking in momentary surprise, she sought out any familiar faces, soon making her way over to Aspen, Ivy, and Chae. There was a crowd gathering, but she smiled and waved to catch their attention as she made her way closer.
Saffron sighed, carrying a squirming green, demon child on his hip. Devyn just kept growing and he STILL had no idea what to do with the boy! Saffron was no parent! Perhaps his own mother would know what to do. Sure, she irritated him a bit a times, but he had to admit, she had done a pretty good job overall in raising him. She would know what to do. It was by pure accident that he stumbled across the family picnic.
Devyn went still, suddenly wide-eyed and fascinated by all the Pae'il milling about and talking to one another. The colors, noise, and activity captured the child's attention and wouldn't let go. His eyes darted from one group to another. Who were all these Pae'il? He knew now from his time with Saffron so far that they were like him, even if they looked different. They varied in color and size, but seemed relatively similar. Deciding that he wanted to investigate further, he suddenly tugged on Saffron's hair and pointed to the other Pae'il with his free hand. "Daddy! Go! Now!"
Saffron flushed deep red. Where had the boy learned that word?!? He certainly hadn't taught it to him, nor did he encourage it. Nevertheless, the boy refused to call him anything other than 'Daddy,' no matter how much he objected and argued. This was going to be fun to explain...where was Takeko?

Oooooh another child! Share was happy to see one her age appear, though he seemed to be with his father at the moment. Waving, she giggled at the green boy and shoved another strawberry in her mouth, her fingers staining a deeper purple with the red of the strawberry juice.
Ryker walked up to stand half behind Mal, draping his arm around her shoulders. "What's this about grandchildren?" He grinned big; being a grandpa was pretty cool to the older demon. He looked Sebastian up and down; this kid looked like a good guy and his daughter was fond of him.

"Okay well you've already met my dad..." Jomund's start of introductions was halted when his mother hugged him. He smiled and hugged her back. "Hi mom," Jomund chuckled and slowly worked his way out of the hug. "This My mother Ivy, Joi, Ivy," He motioned between the two. "That's Aspen, my brother," He chuckled pointing to Aspen, before looking around. "Some of the others I haven't met before," He admitted sheepishly.
Chae chuckled and waved to Aspen. "Hey there son, how are things going?"

Joi smiled and did a little curtsy, as she'd been taught was polite when meeting people. "Its nice to meet you, Ivy, and Chae." She glanced towards the one Jomund introduced as his brother and nodded to him. "And its nice to meet you as well, Aspen." She looked between Aspen and Jomund and noticed they didn't look so much like brothers as she thought they would. At least, not so much like how her own siblings looked alike. But she did see some similarities at least.
Turning her head to Jomund, she whispered, "I didn't know your mom was an Elder, that's cool. Jomund, your family is HUGE!"

Tawny smiled to Sebastian, "Yes he is." Her father walked over and Tawny smiled bigger, "Dad! This is Sebastian and these are your grandkids, Cutter, Christopher, and Cutter."
Mal took Rkyer's hand and looked up with a huge grin. "Want to hold Cutter?" Cutter was in Mal's hand, but was really wiggly.
Cutter fought and then didn't like that idea, he didn't want to be passed around. He wanted to play!
Aspen smied, "Nice to meet you." He looked over as Takeko and Saffron arrived, "Excuse me." He walked over and gave his mate a hug, "Want to meet everyone?" He didn't know everyone, but he did know a few.
Ivy let go of Jomund and smiled at Joi, "It's wonderful to meet you." She took Chae's hand. "I'm so glad you could come." She was so happy to see everyone.

Sebastian nods as he stiffened up under Ryker's eyes, but took a acouple of minutes to relax of course. He glances around then down at Christopher, then at the two bowls of food on the grass. Glancing around him, he moved away with Christopher.
"Mine?" Corbin looked up at Tawny then down at Mal. He squealed and squirmed in his mother's arms trying to go at Mal for his turn for a lap sitting.

Takeko chuckled, returning Aspen's hug. "Of course! Looks like that might take some time too, at this rate!" Smiling, she leaned on her husband's arm just as she spotted their son in the distance.
Saffron shifted Devyn to his other hip tiredly, finally spotting his mother and father at the same time. Finally...maybe they could help him out with this...'situation.'
Once he was within ear-shot of the two, he spoke as quietly as he could to still be heard over the crowd. "Mom? Dad? I need to talk to you about a little problem..."
Takeko was pleased to see her son, yet puzzled as he grew closer. "What sort of prob...?" she started to say, eyes immediately drawn to the child in her son's arms. She paused, eyes widening as her mind jumped to conclusions. "Saffron! You didn't... Is he...yours?" The child's coloring was similar, but she couldn't imagine... Her son hadn't been gone that long had he?

Blake gave a surprised squeak at the sudden loss of his eyesight but quickly regained composure since he knew who it was. "Hmmmm....is iiiiit....a scary monster?"

Jomund chuckled and whispered back to Joi. "Yeah I know... Wow, it grew big!" He chuckled shaking his head. "I introduced you to the ones I know about, but I think that's Aspen's mate over there..." He smiled. "Oh! I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you about then," He seemed a bit sheepish about that, since Elders seemed to run in his family.
Chae smiled when Ivy took his hand, he bowed his head to Joi. "Please feel free to move around and introduce yourself to everyone, we're all family here."

Mal giggled and waited for Ryker to take Cutter before replacing him with Corbin. She looked around seeing many arrivals. "There sure are alot of paes here."
Tawny looked around, "Yes, I didn't know we came from such a big family."
Aspen looked at Saffron and the child, "What have you been up too?" He couldn't imagine Saffron having a child yet, but you never knew.
Mei Lien giggled, "No, silly, it's not! Guess again!" She looked around and saw her parents and her brother with a child and wondered what that was about.
"Yes, please meet everyone. I feel that there are a few I need to meet as well." She didn't know every pae that had come, but was happy they were here.

Blake laughed and rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Well I know it isn't my lovely Mei Lien! It just couldn't be! I would just know from being so smart and....such."

Saffron's complexion went deep red as he realized the conclusion both of his parents had reached simultaneously. "No no no no no!" he blurted, shaking his head vigorously. "Not THAT! He's not mine! Well, not like that at least! I sorta'...found him...in the forest. He was alone and I didn't know what else to do with him, so I've been trying to take care of him. Except for the fact that I have no idea what I'm doing, obviously." He was rambling and he knew it, but he was panicked. He wasn't ready for anything like this and he had no idea what to do about it. Hence, why he was here seeking his parents' help.
Takeko sighed, secretly relieved. She realized her son was grown and was happy to see he'd become such a handsome adult, but she didn't want him to rush into anything he wasn't ready for. This situation, however, she could handle. Afterall, she'd adopted Kane and Cabel as her own children long before actually having any of her own. Smiling, she turned to Aspen. "Well, this seems a bit familiar, doesn't it, dear?" she asked, referring to their first 'boys.' Turning back to Saffron, she asked, "Would you mind if I hold him for a while? I haven't had a little one to hold since you were a baby."
Slightly embarrassed by that comment, but more relieved by her offer, Saffron nodded. "Sure, it'll be nice to have a bit of a break." He gratefully moved to pass the demon child to his mother. "I don't think he had a name before, so I call him Devyn."
Now, through all this talk, Devyn had been looking at all the people milling around and growing more and more antsy. Now, as Saffron moved to pass him to the older female Pae, he started squirming and fussing. "No! Daddy, no! Daddy!" Hands outstretched for the mixed angel Pae, he whined, tears forming in his eyes.
Saffron frowned, embarrassed by the scene the child was creating. "I still can't get him to stop calling me that," he muttered quietly.
Takeko shook her head, smiling gently as she cradled the child gently against her chest. "Poor thing," she spoke softly, rocking him in hopes to soothe his crying. "He must have been through so much. I must admit, I realize now how much I've missed this though," she trailed off quietly.
Unfortunately, Devyn decided that he'd had enough at this point and he would not be ignored. Quieting down momentarily, he shifted in Takeko's grasp and sank his teeth into her forearm.
"Yeowch!" Surprised and in pain, Takeko still kept a secure hold on the child...as he did her. Wincing, she forced a soft chuckle, trying to hide the pain. "Seems it really is like before...he even seems to take after Kane..."

"You do have a rather... large family," Sebastian looked wide eyed at all the pae'ils that had come for this particular family reunion sort of thing. It didnt bother him, but this amount of beings in one place kind of makes him worried.
Corbin giggled up at Mal and practically bounces in her lap.
Christopher looked sullen at all the attention Corbin and Cutter is getting. He just digged his fingers into his daddy's skin, receiving a wince at that doing.

"Yes, it is me!" Mei Lien said with a laugh, She then moved her hands away and stood in front of him, "Hey, there's my parents and brother, let's go!" She grabbed his arm and pulled him over.
Aspen smiled at his son, hppy to find out he hadn't had kids of his own, he was too young to be a Grandpa yet. "Good, I'm too young for grandkids." He then watched as the little guy was passed to Takeko and bit her. "Takeko!" He tried to get the kid off of her, he could tell it hurt, wether she said so or not.
"Well, hello there, Corbin." Mal said as the little one bounced into her lap. Mal had a huge smile as seeing her gandkids had made her really happy.
Cutter looked up at Ryker with a smile, "Pway? Down?" Maybe this guy would understand.
"Yeah." She aggreed her family was rather huge. She then outstreched her arms, "Come here, Christopher."

"Holy cow! How could I have been so dumb?" He laughed and tripped a little as she dragged him away from his precious food. "But...but your brother hates me!" But he continued to allow her to drag him. At least her parents were nice and seeing as Mei Lien was there as well made seeing them again a little easier.
