Zelyhon To all who said that they haven't been to a convention: They're a lot of fun and I'd reccomend going to one, assuming you have tolerence for some idiocy and lots of...interesting...smells. I routinely go to two conventions: Fanime and JTAF (Japan Town Anime Faire), a smaller anime convention going into its third year which has been heald yearly in San Francisco's Japan Town. Hmm. I'm considering it. I don't want my parents to think I'm weird so I'll go when I'm 17. xp

None this year, but in the past I've averaged about one per year... AX last year, and NDK for several years before that.

I plan on attending two this year. I went to AnimeExpo just yesterday and I plan on going to Comic Con which is coming soon! biggrin

I went to my frist and best one this year but i didn't cosplay*Ish sad and mad at self for not making an outfit in time*I went to Ushi-con!It was very fun!
Next year i will try and make it again...cosplay AND manga!!Sorry, hyper right now.I always get hyper when talking about the anime convention!next year, after persuading my mom enough(I AM only twelve) I might be able to rent a hotel room...I hope my mommy let's me...i'm going to try and get some of my friends to coem too!And i picked once a year because i usually only have enough money for the anime convention for once a year since i usually blow it on manga(Japanese and english)And anime, plushies, manga, pocky, and ramune sometimes and milk coffees!(I had 18 pocky containers last time and i was in perfect bliss)

I usually go to 3 to 4 a year...along with my friend Shiko. We always love to cosplay too. Going to a con(Anime Festival Orlando) at the begining of August and cosplaying Chrno from Chrno Crusade. She's being Rosette. whee 3nodding

I've been going to anime conventions since there have been anime convnetions. Mainly, I'm there working on the staff in some capacity (I'd be bored out of my mind otherwise) or representing other conventions. I usually go to 10-12 anime conventions per year plus shows like GenCon (a gaming show), San Diego ComiCon (a comic show), and DragonCon (a sci-fi show). Overall, I hit about 20-25 convention events throughout the year. I used to do more but the convention dates have moved together so that they overap making the ability to attend more virtually impossible.

My average year is just one convention. Though, I wish to change that. There are so many conventions I miss because I always go to the same con every year.
