A golden-pelted pup was overjoyed to be in the world, even though she was small and helpless right now. Already, she had an independent streak, and headed off away from the warmth and food, finding it more important to find out more about the world around her. Her pelt matched exactly the color of her mother's, and her eyes would be the same color too, when they opened.
Despite her willingness to explore, she found herself in a bit of a predicament. She was too far away to go back to where the warmth was, and too tired to continue in either way. The solution; whimper.

Kaede watched with tired eyes as one 'cub' the one that looked like her more so then the others, tried to wander away. She smiled and gently picked her up and placed her close to herself to keep her warm. Perhaps the little girl was not hungry now, but she needed to be warm. "Later...we'll explore..." she said softly, then looking to her other cubs, then to Goma, "We'll all explore together..."

Stubbornly, as her siblings pushed about around her, Tiaret's little legs pushed out about her, as if telling them all to back off, a sort of growl meeting any contact that came in reach afterwards. This world was cold, but she was happily fed, thus willing to put up a fight for attention.
She was the cutest, darnit... PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEE.
The little jackal attempted to 'roar', it seemed, though it was more of a loud growl fused with a yawn.
Tiring out a bit from her attempt to show off her dominance, the tiny, though pudgy, body curled up, tail flopping over her nose as she buried herself into her own warmth by her mother's side.
A lioness indeed.

The young cub was grateful to be back next to the big warm fuzzy thing, and managed to find some food, despite her full appetite. She nuzzled into the fur and quickly fell asleep, wishing she could get up and walk on her own.

((Woot, yay for jackal babbehs, methinks everyone can rp their pup on their own now but remember, Kaede/Goma will be raising them as cubs XD like lions <3*luffs you all*))
