Centipedes. *shudder*
Also, I've had really odd recurring night terrors with usually prophetic themes since I was like 3. When I woke up from them they made me feel hollow and 'thin', if you can imagine the feeling. Like, my fingers and limbs felt thin, bone-chill, and unreal. That in particular scared the crap out of me when I was younger, and I still don't know why they occur. >.>; But yeah, I dreaded having one of those.

When I was seven or so I was bothered by the thought that when people died their souls remained on earth and there wers so many that wherever I walked there were lots of people I couldn't see.

Oh I can swim well, it's just that... well, it's about... 15 feet above, and there's not much water, enough so that you can't jump over it, but the water's very shallow!

JadeK Are centipedes that bad? o0 *never saw one* The only bug I ever touched are caterpillars n.n They're so cute. And I had a few de-ja-veuz (sp?) dreams sometimes too. Very creepy. *shudders* Yes, they are these horrible things with all sorts of little legs...and they're poisonous too. A bite from a centipede is supposed to be strong enough to kill a mouse. So I imagine it would make people fairly sick. I remember I was downstairs in the basement once, watching TV, and I was the only one down there. It was late, too. x.x; And I see this...thing on the floor, so, just to be sure, I throw something at it, and IT'S A CENTIPEDE. It started scuttling toward me with ALL OF THOSE LEGS, and I completely freaked out. Me: *shriek* Then I ran upstairs. I didn't go down there for the rest of the night.

I've only seen one of those thingies in my life. It was some years ago when I decided I was well enough that day to actually venture out of the house and gardens without collapsing or something. I wandered around the ally, and under this old government mailbox thing, I saw something moving. Someone in the yard behind it was having troubles with his hose so there was water leaking into the ally, and the thing was trying to out crawl the water seeping under the box. When I crouched down and tried to get a better look at it I saw dozens and dozens of legs, was really, really scared, and ran home as fast as I was able without overexerting myself. I looked through our library of books in the den after and figured out it was a centipede. sweatdrop

yeah, but at least none of you have had nightmares about your centipedes or whatever taking over the world. Once in my dream, a giant spider named the Oroch was emitting this chemical IN MY HOUSE that made everybody addicted to it so they would foam at the mouth and attack everything if they went too far away, only I was immune to it because it had bit me, so I ran to drive to get help, (weird cause I hadn't driven a car before at the time) and it chased me and I couldn't get the door shut and it pounced on me to make me its mind slave I could speak for it and make its demands when it took over the world and- I woke up. weird, huh? I HATE spiders! *shudders*

Well, when I was young I was afraid of a lot of things. I now sleep in the middle of the bed becuase it's a habit, from the days when I was afraid that there was something that was going to grab me from under the bed, and skeletons in the wall that would come out and eat me. Also: Heights (still am) ,It ( stupid clown, still am), taking a shower ( still am, baths are and were okay, because of It) Pictures that are looking at me ( you guessed it, It again!, still am), family members dying ( by the age of eleven I had had four people die on me, still am afraid of losing people, not just to death).
Now: Look above, also: Leaving my bed at midnight, the witching hour (same thing) because I once had a dream that zombies were real, and two of them were my little brother and my Grandma (both are buried in my town, at the same graveyard) and they dragged one of my little brothers down to hell... now I am even afraid to look out a window at night, People leaving me ( at my tender age of seventeen I have had thirty people just walk out on me ( no one of my family, thank god) or say they hate me and THEN walk out on me, most recent one: two people I had gotten to know over the space of four years, one I had come to love as a sister, the other...rather not talk about him right now, left about two months ago, said they hated me ( this fear was before that though) and I have had four people and five pets die on me including( but not limited to) my grandma who I loved dearly, and my little brother. Plus: The t.v beinng o a station that is pure static ( thank you The Ring) Walking through me house with a knife ( I keep getting a picture in my head that I will kill one of my family members, this is another kid one I forgot to post) Looking good ( stupid sex offenders) And more...that I don't feel like posting.
In all, I am a coward...not really, I have clear, justified reasons for all the above, some stupid yes, but there they are.
