Jedrek's ears slowly fanned to the side, acknowledging the growling sounds, but doing nothing more about it. he noticed from the corner of his eye that Beatrice was very close to him, not knowing what she was doing till me saw her licking at one of his wounds. having fading touch senses he was not able to tell what she was doing by just feeling. "that can't taste to good" he muttered. seeing as he was rotting, and his blood was possibly horribly stale.

Béatrice looked up with a tilt to her head. Her cheeks got red not knowingly. "No... not really.. just tastes like really really mild/cold coffee I say..." She noticed that him seeing her doing that was sort of embarressing. "Erm... sorry!" She said kinda loud and heard more growling; this made her quiet down rather quickly. It wasnt the growling that scared her.. It was the thought that she could get eaten.. and she didn't know what was growling. Unknown was far more scary. "I-never came this way before..." She mumbled and looked some at him to see if they were any closer.

he didn't reply to her. she had no reason to apologize to him but at the moment that growling noise had caught his attention. raising a brow he paused, and looked around for the source of the noise. he was not frightened, why should he be, but if was common knowledge that a growl was a threat, and he was wondering what could be growling at them. "any way you come its the same thing in the swamp" he started. eyes still scanning in the aria his ears were picking up the growling

"It wasn't this scary. I went around through the trees. I-.." She lowered her body as she walked; following with each step. The growling got louder and she tried to take it out of her mind that maybe it wasn't directed at them? Or.. Her. She slicked her wings back and her feathers scale tight to her body. She wanted to be more aerodynamic if anything was to pop out and she would have to run. Her tail curled around her leg and she came rather close to him enough for freelance. "Why...- don't we just climb the trees! It will be quicker that way." She said almost hesitating. She didn't know if that was the best way; but she did it all the other times.. She perked herself on her toes for graceful quick movements. If it had only been quiet it wouldn't be so nerve racking. She looked at him to consult with the idea.

"bein' in the trees is no different from tha ground" he said causally still eying the aria where he heard the growls coming from. not having any success in locating it, he just continued to walk leisurely on. "It would be best for you to keep movin'" he suggested as he sloshed though a small puddle of Molasses coating his claws and chest with thick brown syrup.

Bea's paws sinked in some syrup and she slipped some but caught her balance. "The trees are the quickest route in my opiniouunn-" Her back paws slicked to one side then to the other. She dug her nails then in the ground looking up; still trying to move forward in the thick bushes. "Ah.. we're almost there. I can smell the soda.."She muttered under her breath sort of relieved that they were to get there.. Knowing that it is some safer than walking through the paths. "Nya.." Her ears perked up and her tail wagging some.

Jedrek did not respond to that, since he didn't have his opinion, he could not argue hers, even if by fact he did not consider the trees any safer, or quicker then the ground. things lived in the trees. ears fanned forward slowly, tilting his face downward he smirked as he neared what she was talking about. pressing on, in his laid back manner, he paused at the small clearing, considering, what way to go next.

She looked at him some then she pressed forward, ahead of him. She smelt the soda and she smiled softly. She was memorizing each step since she came. So she could always come back and get some for this numa. The one that didn't think much of her but she was determined to show him feelings. No matter how repulsing someone is. They will have feelings. She could remember when she was inanimate. For a brief moment when she almost drowned. Everything seemed. Like nothing.
Emptiness...
She pounced away at the ground ahead. The smell of soda guiding her. And sure enough before she knew where the soda falls started she plunged in, slipping on the wet moist beneath her. She yelped as her head rose out of the soda. She started breathing heavily grasping on the side of the land.

Keeping his steadily pace, shifting his head only slightly to watch her run past him and into the Soda. though her afterwards reaction was not what he had seem other Numa react like, he knew that Renem when into the soda lakes in Candy land often. it occurred to him at that moment. that the female candies often did not like that water, and judging by her awkward movements, she might not be enjoying the satiation. though his pace did not speed up. nor his expression change. he did speak "was that intentional?"

She coughed up some soda. Not to dislike it but she was scared of it. She shifted her gaze to him clinging on to land. "No! It wasn't! I-I I slipped !" She said as she blushed trying to grasp on to land. This. Wasn't fun. She had thought of only bringing soda for everyone to share but... jumping in. She was highly unaware of such and started to shiver. The thick smell of soda clung to her nose and she let go sinking in the soda.

He didn't move for a moment. staring down into the soda where the form of the turnkey candy was sinking lower, and lower. it was at this moment he was faced with two options... do nothing, and let the soda fill her lungs, and eventually kill her, an option he had no feelings towards. or, risk causing her harm, and removing her from the deadly situation, yet another option he had no feelings towards. but considering what feelings she might have towards them. it did not take very long to know what he was to do.
with a splash, of soda, and blood, the zombie dropped himself into the lake, tail thrashing out violently behind him to propel him downward, he did not stop till he was actually next to her sinking form. shifting his eyes slightly to look though the blurry carbonation, he hesitated, for only a moment, before reaching both claws out, and grabbing her roughly on the side. claws digging painfully into her skin. swiveling his body to face back upwards, he thrashed his tail once again. breaking the fizzing surface. nails only digging further into her side as he clambered upon the shore, dragging her up as well,. the moment she was safely away from the lake, he removed his claws from her and strode a safe distance from her body, sitting down to watch if she got up, fur soggy and dripping.

Beatrice... felt like the last time she did. This feeling. She was so scared of. She had tried to get over the fear since theodore saved her. But... she had fallen in again and felt that this time. It was gunna be too late for her. Being saved from the same situation would be rare.
Her eyes seemed now cloudy. What was happening... her nose now without feeling. Then. Feeling some sensation of cold to her body. She wondered if it was... what was it.
Her tail twitched but no movement came. She was in thoughts. It was like she was flying for a moment. Then hitting on on something... what was it. Again she asked herself. Was it... she was dead now? Her paws twitched but then ceased all movement.

He watched her for a moment, slowly being able to recognize the situation... she dieing? the familiar motionless of it... slurping, he rounded his shoulders, continuing to watch her as he went over options again. her Blood still coated his claws, and he would not be surprised if he had broke one of her ribs in the act of dragging her out. and if he attempted to get the soda from her lungs, he could very well crush her chest, or back with out meaning to. "Bea" he said gruffly, strolling forward, reaching a claw out and placing it on her shoulder, then this time trying to use less of his strength as if handling his own eye, turns her on her side. fanning his ears forward, to listened for breath. makeing up his mind to take the chance, he swung his hail around, and whapped her roughly on her back to looses the soda from her lungs, no Snapping noise followed meaning he did not break anything.

Something. Calling her back. It..it wasn't... she couldn't hear anything. Something had been moving her. Absence from the real world. Her body seemed feelingless.
"Could..I be-" She thought for a moment but was interrupted by Jedrek's voice. It echoed. Throughout her mind. She couldn't be. How would she hear him then? She tried to find.. the surface of her thoughts. She knew she couldn't have been dead. Her heart wasn't responding to her trying to move her body.
Then the feeling of pressure came back and her mouth slipping away with soda. Her foot twitched. She could.. feel it. Semi. But she could. She stretched out her paws some, could this be that... She coughed now. But just once with a puddle of soda running down her mouth.

if she was coughing, then she was obviously able to breath. removing his claw from her shoulder he took several steps backwards, and sat once again, as blank and cold as ever, watching Bea as she coughed and spat up soda.
that had been... in a form, intriguing, this was admittedly, the first time he had witnessed someone near death. what would happen if she were to have actually died? since it was in the Swamp... what were the chances that the same thing that happened to him, would happen to her? though that was the other option he had, it was pointless to consider it now, since he had chosen to not let her die.
