well I did XD until I read something on book 13 RAito is MEAN!! if you wanna know.......um highlight It turns out that Raito has a whole clear world of his own....in it only his sister is worth loving......his mom and dad are just good people......the people he work with are regular......and well I'll skip it to the really bad people...where L, Near, mello and even...yes even MISA is located......poor misa...she loves him soo much

RionaDaidouji I think Misa deserves someone who would actually care about her, instead of just being used by Light. sad She should go with... um... Matsuda! (And OMG, I just realised that they would make such a cute couple... Like, seriously...) [ I so agree with that. Matsuda is fun and Misa deserves someone better that Raito. Besides, Raito and L sooo belong together. -yaoifangirlsqueal- ]

Maybe, MAYBE if he cared about her half as much as she does for him.
But then, Raito is so totally gay for L.
^^;
Gah. People think they'd be a great canon, since they're more prominantly displayed throughout the series, but even IF it were possible for them to have a lasting relationship, it would most likely be an abusive one.
...
But then, that's looking on the Kira side of Light's personality.
But if we look on Light's side, she's not really interested in that. She wants Kira. Not Light. And Light, even when himself for the time chained to L, is STILL uninterested in Misa. Only as a stage prop.
Edit: SQUEE! MatsudaxMisa?!?! It's like, my two favorite-est secondary characters ever, combined!

I like Misa X Light. It's really cute. It kinda reminds me of myself in a way. (LOOONG story...don't ask) And you know what they say! Opposites attract. I don't really see it going anywhere but I think it's actually pretty darn cute. Plus I just love Misa to death so I love the pairing. ^_^
o.o and as for L X Misa....I just can't see it happening...
