Kai quickly looked away to hide the blush that was creepying on his face. "Um, just follow my lead." he mumbled an quickly started to walk into the woods.

Sapphire trotted after him, a spring in her step. She felt cheerful and content. Looking at Kai, her smile grew wider and almost cheeky. "So... what about you? Any siblings...? Or a mate...?"

"Um, I have a little sister." Kai replied with a chuckle as he remebered their last encounter. "No mate though....." He continued to guide Sapphire through the woods.

Sapphire nudged him playfully. "And how does a handsome guy like you manage to stay single?!" She giggled a little before running ahead.

Kai blushed a dark red before he noticed Sapphire running ahead of him. "Wait for me!" he called as he ran to catch up to her.

Sapphire laughed and bounded inbetween trees, happy at having so much fun! She bolted ahead, her long legs dodging in and out between the trees. "Can't catch m-AAHHH!" Sapphire squealed as she fell head first down a ditch, landing in the mud.

Kai quickly sped up as he heard her scream. He gracefully came to a stop infront of the ditch. "Are you ok!?" He asked. He slowly made his way into the ditch.

Sapphire looked very ungraceful and she rolled onto her back. He face and ears were caked with mud. "I fell!" She mock whimpered, wriggling in an attempt to get up.

Once Kai reached her, he offered a paw to help her up. "Are you hurt in a places?" he asked as he tried to inspect her for injuries.

Sapphire took his paw and smiled through the mud. "I'm fine... just dirty! And a little embarrassed. "She giggled nervously and slipped around, trying to get up.

"Here. Get on my back. I'll take you up." Kai offered as he leaned down so Sapphire could get on.

Sapphire clambered up onto Kai's back, dripping with mud. "Ugh, I've gotten us both dirty...." Her ears dropped a little. "We should go wash...."

"Don't worry about it. There should be a pond around here." he replied as he slowly climbed out of the ditch once he made sure Sapphire was on him. Once he reached the top, he kneaded down so Sapphire could easily get off of him.

Sapphire crawled off and looked at Kai with a smile. "Thanks..." She giggled a bit. "I look like a mud monster! Let's go find somewhere to wash..." She started padding off into the woods, looking back at Kai. "You coming?"
