I find that site quite annoying, it isn't exactly a bit amusing. I really dislike people that have to make fun of peoples body shapes and the way that they look (someone made fun of two Americans girls saying they were "greasy" o.o), I can understand constructive criticism explaining why they think it is not lolita and suggestions. It also sucks that of course some probably had cheap, low quality clothes for reasons they don't know or they like their makeup a certain way, but there will always be people that are so nit picky and judgmental about how people look. There's just so much to say about that site. domokun xp

Let's face it. A lot of people don't know how to dress lolita. It's funny seeing people slap on black lipstick, lace gloves and be all
LAWL AM I DOIN IT RITE?
Hey if anyone from this community was up there [which is very likely in high quantity] then that is your own fault because you put your pic on the internet.

And I know I'm up there for a reason. I look like a retard. That's just how it goes sometimes, and its no different from real life people who pick on others. It's best to just blow them off. I've heard of that site before and browsed through a few pages when I did. Some of the things posted there are actually terrible, even the pictures of some brand clothing without people in them. Other things posted are not so bad and only require a few simple changes to fix.
The site[community?] itself doesn't bother me too much, though I think the better action to take would be to give constructive criticism to the ones who are wearing the outfits, to their face. It does almost nothing to just make comments on the picture without having the person see it and improve on the outfits, because some people just have never heard of the community before.

Maybe it's okay to try and look at the upside and try not to feel upset when you have every reason to be. However, why do we have to be so cruel to eachother? If you're going to do something so drastic, you should at least try to be mature about it first and critique the issue WITH the person constructively in a patient, polite manner first. If they get defensive, then back off and know that they won't be changed. But taking their images and posting them to get bashed repeatedly... this does not solve a single thing! The person who is in the photograph likely will not get anything out of it, unless they see their picture posted. Then, all they get is sad and upset. No reasonable advice from a peer. Just cruel shots at them from people who went behind their back. Maybe it's fun for some people.... if you have a slight to major inferiority complex.. If you need to put down others in order to feel better about yourself, I think your ego is perfectly unhealthy. And bashing others is not going to cure that. All I've seen is the harsh reality of petty comments and snide remarks. In a way, I feel sorry for the people who are doing the bashing because they have not the self respect and restraint to keep themselves from acting so... infuriatingly. These people need to get off the backs of others, believe in their own abilities, and grow up a little to rise above and offer a kinder, more effective solution to helping new Lolitas and those uneducated about the fashion change into beautiful, esteemed Lolitas. And in doing that, they will become beautiful and esteemed as well.
Also, manners are imperative. Disrespecting anyone so, Lolita or not, is just plain rude. If they wish to bash Mana, then they have little knowledge themselves.
Even though only models, agencies, actors, etc. can only take legal action against having things done with their pictures by people who had no right to do so, if we have any shred of sense for eachother, if we want eachother to stay safe online, this has to stop. Some people aren't aware of the risks of posting their pictures online, or underestimate the risks. At the least, we have to look out for eachother. And anyone can access that Livejournal, while this guild and places such as Lolita Snap are a little more restricted to protect the members. However, just please be careful.
