We kept things in the dark about this until the cubs came, because really it didn't matter until we figured out what we got and who the heirs were if we even got twins...
...it didn't need to be said until it directly affected the pride, which was now.
So yeah, you and everyone else were in the dark...

*probably late for this, but didn't see it before*
I personally prefer the pride as it is now. As it is it's a wonderful pride and a pleasant place to be and rp. I'd hate to see that change since it's one of the few refuges left in SoA.
And quite honestly, the pridelands just wouldn't be the pridelands without Iris.
