Od yawned and purposely threw himself off of her shoulder, it was not that big of a drop. He fell down and bounced onto his feet and wobbled into her again. His face was pressed against her fur softly. He drew up a paw and put it there, like a hug.
"Bye..."
He purred as he nuzzled her. She was so big and fluffy. It was nice. He pulled away from her and slowly wobbled back to the den. At least today was not a waste, he had made a friend! Another thing, a big freaky six leged friend.
"Myrei Rage."
He called back before pulling himself into a little opening ender a rock. Probably a den or just a nice burrow to sleep in before heading home. Either way, he was most likely gone.

"Such strange things come my way don't they?" she mused as she smiled faintly as Od slid from her shoulder. As he hugged her arm, she folded her ears back, tilted her head at him. He...liked her? Never before had someone actually gone as far as Od, to offer her a hug. It had been too long since she had a hug even given to her without asking for one.
The darkness in her was confused as well.
How could a child, show more sense then any adult she had met?
"Bye..." she said softly, wrapping one of her paws around his tiny figure, then pulling it back just as he began to walk away, wobbling as he did so. She watched him until he disappeared, and just like everyone else she had met, he was gone.
She'd come back to see him though...she would make sure.

Od curled himself lightly and purred to himself. At least his dreams would be nice and calm, then again they always where. However, something bugged him, but what? Oh yeah...he never did catch a butterfly.
Beyond the bushes, darkness under it's leaves, under the shade of an old gnarled tree. Two red piercing eyes and a toothy grin. In a flicker of the leaves, the eyes were gone.
