Mommette
I'd love to help, but I am not familiar with excel (is this on my computer?), or if you need excel to read an excel worksheet. However, I do know how to count! *giggle*
If you need someone just to count, for free of course, I'm there. I could do it like this:
Pages 5172-5204:
Pacifica san: 22
Sweetest Tear: 28
Mommette: 17
Spam on page(s) 5179, 5182
etc., etc....
If I can help like that example, or excel is easy and available to everyone, I'm here if you need me.
Edited to add:
Would it be more helpful if we started counting our bumps?
Every help is off course welcome. You don't have to use excel/openoffice, it's just easier
1. for you to search whether someone has already bumped or not
2. for me to bring together all the results when I have time to make an update.
To use the document you need excel (microsoft) or openoffice (free to download) but as I say, you don't need to use it if you don't feel comfortable with it.
Number the bumps: I guess that is not a good idea. Reason: until now, more than 50 people counted their bumps of which I guess 30 with more than 100 and only
2 (maybe 3) of them never made a single mistake (as far as I know only Jyrrl and Jade.Zap, special remark for banana_float: he only made 2 mistakes in over 1000 bumps) Averagly, counters make 2-3 mistakes/100 bumps.
So when I counted, numbers most of the time only caused more confusion, so I just ignored them. They are useful for the one that posts, but not for the one that counts except when you would count by using post history which is in a thread as the colorbump (without a "PM me when you reached ... bumps" rule) impossible.
