1un4r That's about average, actually. The learning curve doesn't really go at a steady pace. When most people get to 8's and 9's, they stay there for quite a while. Tell me about that.. *Is still stuck on both A and V's Challenge.*

But when I went back to ddr. It seemed so slow I had to slow down...So yeah.

I don't care about ITG and Legend of Max's 666 BPM bit doesn't count because you're not doing anything in it. And I don't understand the chart. :B

I think it's comparing skill level (Footers, vertical) to how long a player has been playing, (Years, horizontal). The middle 70% of players usually get to 6's by their first year of playing, and start playing 10's late in their second year.
Makes some sense, but I think it's hilarious that the bottom 5% actually see a skill decrease by year six...
Also the fact that it starts at Year 1, but there is no beginning.. Other than that, it looks good.

Other than that, it looks good. I noticed the year 1 thing while I was doing it. That's the beginning of first year they are playing, not the end, 'cause i didn't want to redo the actual chart, being as that was the hardest part. The decrease represents the people who started playing when they were in their late 20's or older, and kept playing for whatever reason, but not regularly enough to maintain a skill level better than 4-footers for endurance reasons. An inaccuracy in the chart is that it only accounts for regular and semiregular players. For instance, my sister and her friend only play every few months, so despite the fact that they both started in 2004, neither can do anything harder than a 4.

It's really hard to be accurate and predict properly with beginners. For instance, when I could barely clear Sandstorm on light with a B at my 14th birthday party, nobody would have guessed that I'd be able to clear most 10' and a few 11's 2 years later.

I don't know what I could fit in. I've had had hiatuses both long and very long. I'm still in one. But I was in normal during 2nd Mix, then got to Maniac around 3rd plus, if that makes any sense.
