Winter had always been Saeska's favorite season. She loved the way the snow sounded and felt when she stepped on it. That crunch...it was perfect. Her Dj style headphones blasted rock music into her ears from some radio station. She wore nothing but a thin jacket, a tanktop and some baggy denim jeans that hung just a little above her hips, held up by a belt. She was going to meet her "Family" somewhere but she didn't remember where and didn't have access to a phone. So, she just trudged on, listening religiously to the sound coming from the speakers.

Of course, mindless wandering can lead you odd places. She ended up turning into an alley instead of the next turn at the next block. She kept going, her eyes closed. She went where her feet took her, or where they were ordered. And, in this case, they got the message mixed. She finally found herself wandering through some brush and she had no idea how she got there but she knew her feet were sore. She must have walked much longer than she thought.

"Where the hell am I?" She muttered as she looked up. It was a forest alright. She looked around her eye level. No sign of any two legged life. She wanted to go back but found she didn't know where she had come from.

So she went forward, following openings in the brush where animals had trodden. A few minutes into her quest for a way out, she felt a weird sensation throughout her body. She had never felt this before. It was if her whole body had fallen asleep. She removed her headphones and focused her mind but heard blips of thoughts. She knew she had telepathy because another member of her gang had it as well but she wasn't skilled with it. It was the reason she kept her headphones on. She would sometimes randomly get a thought and it freaked her out.

These faint blips, short thoughts, were something about a barrier.

Barrier?

Curiosity had always been one of her downfalls and so she let her feet carry her towards the thoughts. The closer she was, the stronger they got. It was her form of tracking.

Saeska snapped open her eyes as she lost her concentration on her faint thoughted person. Stronger thoughts were making their way in. She concentrated on them.

Gotta find a way around this.

She put her headphones back on and turned them on. If there was someone trying to get in somewhere, probably the barrier mentioned before, then she should stay out of it. It was likely put up for a reason.

And besides, she had to meet up with her gang. And she was unarmed. She never carried her gun. If police found her, she would be thrown in jail for possesion of an illegal firearm.

Nineteen she may be but when it came to confrontation, she was a five year old. A Wuss. She turned back and was about to walk when she felt a shock go through her head. She ripped off her headphones and inspected them. Shortout. Both speakers had blown their circuts.

"Damn." Now she had nothing to focus her mind on. Going back into the city was out of the question. Too many thoughts, too much distraction. She would never fly. She wanted to stay inconspicous.

So, with no where to go, she went in search for those thoughts again, hoping they would have a cellphone at least.

Lord Drago punched the barrier as he felt it being broken through slightly. It broke, but as he was walking through it automatically sealed itself. Angrily, he frowned and sat down on the ground. "If I can't get through I'm going to go even more insane..." He mumbled.

Saeska looked up at the empty space. There was something there. She had bumped into it. She huffed, annoyed now. She stood up and kicked at supposed empty space. Her foot caught in mid air. She defiantly felt something failry solid under there.

"Whatever you are, you are not standing in between me and a phone." She kicked at it again and was thrown back a couple feet. She stared, astonished, at the nothingness. It had thrown her back. Her pride got in the way of her senses. She was not going to lose to air! She got up and brushed herself off. The she charged forward, yelling. She hit it and kept going but slowly, as if she were moving through jello. Then she broke free of it and stumbled, her momentum carrying her too far. She ended up on her back, staring at the sky.

"Ok. Now what?"

Leiko stood still, staring off in the boys direction. There was a strange feeling tugging at the edges of her mind, like there was someone else there besides the two of them.

Seaska sat up and looked around. She could now see a man or rather a young adult. He was younger than she was with short spiky jet black hair and wearing black and red clothing.

"Hey! Boy!" She called, getting up. "Hey you! Do you have a cell phone I could borrow?"

When Inou first hears somebody calling towards him from a distance his first instinct was to reach into his jacket and c**k back one of two modified dueling pistols he had taken from his family heirloom. He then looks back and makes a quick profile of the person coming closer. He decides the person wasn't a danger and uncocks the gun. "No, I don't have a cellphone. Never had use for one"
