"It's a really easy fun game!" Noyana said. "One of us starts out as 'it,' and the 'it' chases the 'not-its.' If 'it' pokes a 'not-it,' the 'not-it' is 'it'," Noyana said, her tongue caught up in the tongue twister. She giggled a bit, and hoped her new friend would have understood it. Though, Noyana doubted she'd have understood the explanation herself.

The golden-eyed fawn blinked in confusion. "So... if I'm 'it' and I run after you and poke you, you're 'it'...?"
Mkimya couldn't help but giggle when the yellow lioness giggled. "Is that right? Or am I getting this wrong?"

Noyana was glad that the klip had understood her explanation, and more happy that she wouldn't have to fabricate another explanation.
"You've got it!" Noyana said happily, tail swishing. "So do you want to play?" She repeated happily.

"Sure, it sounds fun! Who's 'it' though?" she asked finally standing up as she had been sitting there most the time.

Noyana thought for a moment. That was a good question, who would be 'it' first? She thought about it, her face contorting with deep thought. She honestly didn't know how to pick, someone always volunteered.
"I guess whoever wants to be 'it'," Noyana concluded.

"Well, why don't you be 'it' first," Mkimya said. "Since I'm new to the game."
Mkimya grinned. "Unless you want me to be 'it'," She said with a light giggle. It would be fun to be 'it' first, but she didn't know.

"Alright," Noyana said, "I'll give you a bit of a head start so you aren't standing right in front of me. Ready?"
Noyana flattened herself to the ground in anticipation. She loved Tag, she was a fast runner. Who knew, though, how fast a klip could run. She had never met one, but she was about to find out.

Mkimya took a few bounds away. She loved to run, so it may be fun. She thought so anyways. She only let herself be a yard away though, before she looked back.
"Ready when you are," She said grinning. She could run pretty fast, but she didn't know how fast a lioness could run. She never raced anything but the wind before.

"Here I come!" Noyana yelled, dashing towards the klipspringer without all of her speed. She'd have to save her maximum for later on in the game, when she wasn't it, or for when she'd desperately need to tag her playmate back. She reached out to attempt to tag Mkimya.

The fawn dashed. She didn't go too fast, but she wanted to stay out of reach. That was the point of the game, she thought. She forgot to ask about that. But if you were running, you'd have to stay away she guessed.

Noyana just missed the klip, and dashed after her. However, the more she chased, the more she had to know; who was the faster of the two kinds? Were klipspringers faster than lions, or vice-versa?
Noyana stopped chasing and asked, "Wanna race?" She hoped the klip would know she was curious.

Mkimya stopped for a second before turning back. "Sure! I love to race!" She said. She did love to race. Or... she loved to run in general.
"From where to where?" the purple and grey fawn asked as she walked back to the lioness. She didn't get that the yellow cub was curious, but she wanted to race anyhow.

"How about from this rock," Noyana said, speaking of a rock not far behind them, "To that tree over there and back?"
This way, the race would be both a test of speed and manuverability. Turn-around time included. Noyana was sure she would win.

"Alright!" Mkimya said grinning. She touched the rock with her hoof and measured the distance.
"I warn you Lioness, I run pretty fast for my age!" She grinned. "So... on your mark..." She shook her ears and looked towards the tree.

"Get set..." Noyana said, helping out her new friend. She checked to see that the klip was ready before hollering, "GO!"
Noyana set off as fast as her yellow and black legs could carry her, hoping to be able to beat the klipspringer. What she didn't know was that the klip was a faster animal than a lion because of the fact that their lives depended on it.
