I don't really mind that's it's on DS
I've always gone with PS for consles and Nintedo for hand helds since...the orgoinal PS and the origonal GB

I don't really like PSP all that much...too expencive and there's hardly any good games for it...
tho I might have to get one for the FF tatcics game and the FF7 Crisis core games now that's it's dropped in price stare

ya, i've heard a bit about it. It is based 2 yrs after FF XII and you don't have to play the first game to get this one. Apparently they want this to be a game for those who havent gotten into the FF genre yet, so sorta like an itroductory game, and its meant for the younger crowd. The main characters are Vaan and Penelo, and you soar the skies of Ivalice on their ship, because they're sky pirates.

Well, it should prove to be intersting, but the characters look chibi...hmmm. razz

so there is a sequal? cool!

basicly...one more week!!oooh im exited!! but then everyone will buy XII ( i rented it) and ten ill be SOL at christmas time

I played it and it's ok. Not as great at the original was and it's easy. I beat it in about a week. It doesn't add much to the FF12 story at all...the fighting system is a bit annoying.

It's mostly has Vaan and Penelo. Bal and Fran don't com in til half way thur the game and Basch, Ashe and Larsa come in after them...

FFTA was a better FF RPG for a Nintendo hand held...

FF XIII will be for not only PS3 but the 360 as well.

PS3s are weird about backward compatability though.

only the 80GB version is backwards compatable at purchase (i own one and havent yet found a game i have any problems with)

if you have internet hooked up to it all the time then you will never have a problem, with the 20 40 or 80GB. if you put in a game that the PS3 dosent know how to play, it will automatically download the software it needs from the PSN (playstation network) for free and after the short download the game will play just as well as it does in a ps2 or a ps1.

i am sorry though, the PS3 is for sure a big purchase, but i assure you it is worth every penny.

it even charges my friends cell phone with the controller charger cord, his phone has the same kind of jack. i found it to be hilarious.

It's a good game. I love the make your own weapon ability.
