Yup, I've been harassed via PM, IM, and via Facebook comment by this girl who doesn't understand how I can be pro-choice and agaist the death penalty, and she doesn't get my button that says "Pro-child, Pro-choice." I'm trying to figure how how to explain it to her in words she will understand.

That it doesn't know the sick feeling of fear.
That women feel who find themselves pregnant and in percarious positions or that of those on death row who know their day is coming up and they can do absoluetly nothing to stop their own demise.
They don't have respect of love for life, because they haven't lived it yet.

I've never gotten a PM that was bashing pro-choicers, but I have gotten one from when I said ,"lykeomgnowai!?!?" in a thread. The girl said I was "making fun of preps" and that she "didn't appreciate it."
How is that, in any way, shape, or form, making fun of "preps"?

Oh, I remember when I used to have a picture in my signature that said "my body, my choice." First people told me to take it off because they didn't agree with it, and I did get some annoying PMs, then one day wanted me to take it off because he thought I was encouraging self-harm. He was against abortion, but he alaos thought I was condoning anorexia, which I was not. He might have thought that because the girl was skinny, but heck, I look pretty close to that and I am in no way anorexic!

I've never gotten PMs that were bashing my sig when it had stuff about abortion in it. I got a couple compliments for Mistress DragonFlame's "I smile because my mother had the choice to choose life" banner, though. biggrin

I never got anything specific.
I got some general "you must hate Bush and love communism and hate religion and enjoy carrying to the 9th month just to abort, you liberal heathen!!!1!!" PMs, though. Those always make me feel all warm 'n fuzzy inside.

Pandora Box I never got anything specific. I got some general "you must hate Bush and love communism and hate religion and enjoy carrying to the 9th month just to abort, you liberal heathen!!!1!!" PhaedraMcSpiffy I once got a gorey, nasty picture from an idiot on Myspace. I got a bulletin like that once on MySpace. It had a bunch of gross pictures and said something like "If you're no against abortion, you're heartless!"

I got a PM saying I was an idiot for my sig that quoted a pro-lifer who said "humans are hardly plants." Mindcandy said that, actually..I thought it was quite dumb.
It ended up as a mini-debate of what mindcandy meant by the statement. I hate idiots, I really do.
