I like GX better because it has new card and stronger and usable monsters....plus...in GX they like worship Yugi and Kaiba...that's why GX is better...but the only thing i like about the regular YuGiOh is it got Exodia and the Egyptian God Cards....GX is like the upgrade form of YuGIOh.

No...wait...Regular YuGiOh is better...they got more stuff at stakes....in the new ones no one gets hurt if they lost or kitnap or any real danger like the regular...like that one time when Joey was minded control and was dueling with yugi...and the loser was suppose to drown...see...that's more at stakes and more interesting.

actually GX has similar stakes. You just can't take them as seriously because the lead character is an idiot who doesn't take anything seriously. He'd willingly sacrifice his friends for the chance at a 'fun' duel.

i like GX and Jadens personality. And yes it does seem weird that he enjoys every duel even if it is a shadow game. but he is one that lives to find the hardest duelest in the world, and though i to find e heros annoying his deck flows well.

As for his airheaded ways i think we would all be that way if we slept in class and never did homework.....oh and jaden and alexis forever heart

see thats where I disagree very much. I hate jadens personality. Thats what ruins the show. He is so fake. No one can be happy all the time. And he makes the moral of the show 'to have fun' instead of friendship or whatever was the moral of Yugioh. dueling is not just about fun in yugioh but it is in gx.

I don't think Jaden is fake, I think he's just a very poor attempt at a lead character. He literally takes all the bad parts of Jounouchi and then runs with it.
Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with having fun duels or finding strong duelists and challanging them. But his behavior is what annoys me. It's one thing to want to duel someone strong and enjoy yourself. It's another thing when you want to duel someone strong and don't care if someone's life is in danger should you fail. It's not as though he is just believing strongly that he's going to win. He just doesn't care if he does so long as he has fun.

I don't like Yugioh GX, and personally, I have never took the time to sit and watch it. Really, it's not that original unless you count the elemental heroes. I have to be honest though... I love Winged Kuriboh, he's the only thing I like from the show. Other then that, all the characters are just other versions of the original characters.

If you ask me, the people just got lazy with Yugioh GX. Like, Juudai for example, he doesn't have his own personality really. He really just has a good part of the aspects from Jounouchi's personality, expect he's even more of an airhead.

Then there's Shou, or Syrus or what the heck his name is, he really just reminds me of Yuugi. Which, I don't want to get started on.

Oh, and something kind of random compared to what I just said... the original Yugioh characters... they're a lot... well, to put it in a more fan girlish way I guess, cooler and sexier. Honestly, I have yet to see a character that's smexier then Atemu or Bakura. I'd pick Yuugi over Shou any day actually... and I don't really like Yuugi.

heart heart In my opinion, I really don't mind GX but it truely an as good. The older show, Yu-gi-oh, is a lot more intortaning! I'm not shore way at the moment but I think it's..................... the classic series had more of a plot to it! The only reason I watch it is cause Jaden reminds me of my nutty cuz! But I hate how Jaden acts when it real becomes serious! heart heart Plus, I like Egyptians, were are all the Egyptians?! crying

i must say that gx is better than the original well for one thing gx introduced new archtypes and new cards the original yugioh was very basic also at least jaden is beatable yugi was like freaking god and only lost like 3 times jaden was like a more normal duelist and as for jadens personality he does have a sad side did you see him in the fight with yubel and as the supreme king also when aster beat him the second time he couldnt see his cards and at least jaden dueled by himself yugi always had help jaden was alone
