That would be the OVA which will be MORE like the manga.

Ok...to sum all this up in one post.....The anime has NOTHING on the manga. Seriously. I'll give you ze rundown on it. The anime was rushed and only covers Vol. 1 through 2. After Luke and Jan (really want edits of these) stormed Hellsing, Pip and the Wild Geese (merc's.) were highered to protect Hellsing. Jan before he is killed....(this isn't a spoiler for anyone thats seen one of the two) gives off a very important detail of the people that made him a freak vampire. Now over the course of Vol 3 through 6 (seven coming next month) something MAJOR has happened and will continue to happen for a few more vol's. I don't want to ruin the surprise.
Erico is the guy that is head of Section XIII...he was in the anime for one or two ep's I belive (Haven't seen the anime cause.....reasons). If you want to know more....

Erico = Ms. Hellsing Anderson = Alucard

pretty much the same roles, but Erico hates Protestants...meaning all of Hellsing. Another thing is, the last few ep's of the anime, NEVER happends in the manga. They were fillers. So if you want more of the story.....GET/READ THE MANGA!!!!
