"A place to t-train...."
Demyx's thoughts were cut short, the youth freezing at the mention of the Underworld. Even his wings, previously spread, drooped lifelessly to a position on the floor. It was easy to see why some of the feathers were out of place in his wings.
The sitarist had vague memories of the Underworld. Scenes flashed before his eyes, never enough to remember a full moment of time there but it -was- enough to make him utterly terrified of the place. As his mind reeled to make sense of the situation, Demyx visibly paled. It was easy to see that he was starting to panic.

"What do y--? Dem?? Are you okay?" The elder audio watched the boy, worry reflected in his emerald eyes.

"I'm f-f-fine..."
The words were strained, the youth struggling to pull himself out of panic mode. With a shake of his head, Demyx attempted to shake away the thoughts and focus back on Axel.

"Al-right," the red-head continued, shrugging off the youth's odd behavior. "So how's the Underworld sound as a place to train?"

That word again... Demyx immediately tensed up, fear flowing through him yet again. After a few moments of being frozen in fear, Demyx let out a very paniced sounding yelp, and fled to a corner of the room to hide.
Nevermind the fact he had a rather bright golden circle hovering above his head. 'Hidden' in his corner, the young sitarist hit the ground and curled up, using his wings to shield him from view.
"D-d-don't send me there!!!"
Send. Someone had sent him there before...Xemnas...or Saix. It didn't matter, the place horrified him and the mere thought of the Underworld was enough to send him into a full fledged panic.

"Wha?! Demyx?" Axel watched the youth's flight, his expression one of utter confusion. "You...don't have to go there, Dem. We can go somewhere else." The red-head spoke gently, trying to soothe the fear welling up inside the young audio. What was it about the Underworld that frightened Demyx so? Perhaps the proximity to lost souls and death bothered him. Saix's earier comments suggested they had died and been born anew, for what reason none could guess. Whatever the case, Axel made a note not to mention the place again around him.

Second in command...cowering in a corner like a baby. Demyx knew this should be humiliating, but he couldn't help it! Slowly, ever so slowly, the youth forced himself to sit back up...though now he was just clinging to his legs and trying to stop his shaking.
"S-s-somewhere else...p-p-please..."
He wanted to learn, really, but not there. Anywhere else would be fine.

Axel scratched his furry chin a moment, considering their options. All they needed was a secluded space to talk and perhaps train a bit. "Hmm...I've got an idea or two," the red-head smiled confidently. "Come on, Dem." His paw reached down to find the youth's, offering the boy a hand up.

"N-n-no Underworld?"
Demyx nearly choked on the world, barely able to say it. The youth allowed Axel to grab his paw and haul him back to his feet, though he was still quite shakey.

"No Underworld," the red-head chuckled softly, pulling the youth into a firm, reassuring hug. "Promise."

As Axel pulled him into a hug, Demyx quickly hugged back. The reassurance from the red-head was enough to make the youth slowly stop shaking.
"O-okay...so.......where then?"

"I'll show you," the red-head smiled. Offering a hand to Demyx, he opened a portal in front of them.

Demyx eyed the portal a moment before latching to Axel's offered hand.
"Alright..."
The sitarist would let his friend lead him through to wherever their place of training would be.

Gripping the boy's hand firmly, he stepped into the pervading black of the portal's opening. The fire-wielder shrugged off the chill of the space between. He'd used this mode of transportation often enough to ignore it's particulars. A moment later, he stepped into the light, not into the castle, but a different world entirely. They stood upon a low lying hill surrounded by forest. In front of them, an ancient house loomed in the foreground protected by a single rusty gate.
Axel wasn't sure why he'd chosen this place. He wasn't even sure how he'd known of it's existance. His green gaze studied the house a moment. It's meaning hidden somewhere in those memories he'd been unable to recover, it should serve their purposes.

Demyx still wasn't used to the feeling of the darkness, and he probably never would be, but traveling with Axel made it a bit more bearable. Still, he looked rather relieved when they stepped out at their destination.
"Hey Axel...what is this place?"
Brushing a few bangs out of his face, Demyx slowly walked forward to get a better look.
