Are you saying we vote on an underlying style? Because I would go for either Lolita or Japanese School Kids.
I like the contest ideas. But, as said earlier, it has faults. A few people would be mad. I had a different idea. Kind of running with Carandra's last post.
What if we made a base of all of our custom avatars. Like, all nudie. The background would already be made. Instead of ping-ponging, or designating a certain someone to do it, we could just give a base. After the underlying style were chosen, you could take the base and clothe them in your own uniform. It adds a personal touch to it all.
I also really liked the idea of doing an edit in the uniform and submitting it. And if that were taken, I would have no problem doing the background and arranging all edits that were submitted. But I would need to know if you want it big, small, or able to be put in a signature.
I like the AE design. So maybe whatever edit we end up doing, we could put that in the background image.
