((Late reply here))

She heard the crash. She just chooses to ignore it. Were there so many clumsy people around Ouran? Not even this many injuries occurred in commoner school. If it did then everyone would straight out outburst into laughter and tears. How cruel and grotesque. Everyone didn't seem to really help though. It was strange, but maybe they thought he didn't need help?

Well he got to his seat regardless and she sighed. The class seemed more fuller now. Let's see here:

There were six of them she believed. Three girls and three boys. Not the fullest class, but others were probably missing or something. She didn't suggest it on the first day of school, but whatever floated their boat. There was only Miho that she met, who appeared to be near the back of the room. She doesn't believe she had contact with anyone else thus far, excepting Roka who was in 1A. A gloomy sigh. More friends and social contacts were needed.

"Chiya chan then!" He decided, brightening up, looking towards her expectantly, seeing if she agreed to this. At the other remark, he considered that for a moment. Well, he was born in Janurary... but...it was fun to call girls Onee-chan. Sweetshops? He cocked his head in amusement, "Ooh, really? Which ones are your families?" Akira loved lollipops. And now, perhaps when he was buying them, he could meet Chiya chan outside school!

He blinked rather questioningly at her next remark, giving a little smile as she called him cute. "Daijoubu! (It's okay) Chiya chan is kawaii herself too!"

"My name? I'm Akira."

Takanashi Chihaya

PostPosted: Fri Feb 02, 2007 10:56 pm

"Takanashi. Takanashi Chihaya at your service! And Chiya-chan is fine, Akira-Chaaaan-"
However, CHihaya was most surprised that... Akira had called her cute. Cute! Hah. She hadn't been called cute for years now. She wasn't malnourished or super tiny or anything like that, or looked like a round Mashimaro, either. Oh well, It was a compliment anyway.

"I can hardly be considered cute," She laughed. "And I take it you like sweets, hey?"

If he did, he would love what she had in her bag...

"Takanashi?" He scratched his head, lapsing into his thoughts. "I think I've heard it before, but then, I don't care about brands for sweets really." He grinned at her, "Not that I'm saying I don't care about your family's company." Akira did like commoner sweets too.

"Oh, but Chiya-chan is!" He protested, his lips forming a little puppy-like pout, just to make her agree with him. And sweets? She was asking the obvious. "Mmhmm!"

"aww, thankyou, I'm flattered." She laughed again. "Okay then, I have something for you. I'm sure you'll like it!" Chihaya picked up her bag and began rummaging through it. Now then.. Where was it? Froggy...Pencilcase, books, random garbage, hmm... Finally she found it; a small canvas bag which looked to be chuck-full of things. She untied the string and opened it.

Candy. Surprise surprise. Alot of it.

Chihaya chose a sweet for herself and then passed the bag to Akira. "Help yourself! I refill it everyday, so it's alright~"
PostPosted: Mon Feb 05, 2007 5:34 am

"Really?" The boy leaned forward from his position to peer into the bag, only spotting a rather cute frog plushie which made him smile in adoration. He loved plushies too!

Oh but...SWEETS! A bigger smile lit up his face, although he wasn't exactly surprised, seeing that Chiya-chan's family was in that buisness. Somehow he wished that his family's buisness would allow him to sneak some things away too, but what could he make away with? A lamp? The most was a nice bedroom, really.

Hmmm...Akira stuck his hand inside and closed his eyes, deciding to randomly pick a sweet. It was rather fun doing that, he liked new things. "Arrigato Chiya-chan!"

Takashi Shisori walked into the classroom, and cleared his throat in a loud manner. It was to gather the students' attention... He had been instructed to ask the students to do a brief introduction, and wondered how he should go about it. Clearing his throat again, Shisori flashed a smile at the class, "Good morning, class! Now, let's settle down..."

Pausing, Shisori scanned the class, "Let's see...Introduce yourselves. Let's start with me, okay? I'm Takashi Shisori, so call me Mr Takashi. I'll be your form teacher for this whole year, and I don't tolerate disturbances during my classes. I do appreciate a joke or two, though, especially if you guys are falling asleep."

He grinned, "Another thing to note. I don't like giving homework, so when I give you work, I expect it to be done and handed up on the spot unless stated otherwise. If you really can't finish it, I'll give you permission to bring it home. Well, as for expectations... Let's aim to beat 1A whenever we can, shall we?"

He winked, the last part of his introduction was said in a teasing manner. It was meant as a joke, but the teacher didn't wait for any signs of laughter. Instead, he continued, "Now, why don't you start?" He gestured at Miho and gave a nod.

Shoot, why her? He could have just picked one of the people who actually, like, wanted to stand up in talk in front of a group of people. With a soft sigh Miho stood, pushing back her chair. "Tamura Miho. Please look after me" Polite and impersonal greeting, check. Nothing noticeable about her, check. With a soft noise of relief she sank back into her chair. Settled again, she ran her mind over what the teacher had said. Doing all the work in class? That sounded very odd, she'd never heard of anything like that before.

Aim to beat 1A? It was all she could do not to snort out loud, no offense to her classmates but she doubted that was possible, after all these kids were down here for a reason and from what she'd seen so far the reason for most of them was grades and not a lack of a high standing family. Ah well, he was joking anyway; he really had no idea that it would be an easy thing for her to do. She ran a hand through her hair. Him not knowing was just as well; having higher grades than the kids in 1A was something that would defiantly get her noticed. She slumped down a little bit in her seat and peered around the classroom, one advantage to introducing themselves was that she would then know who each person was and even more importantly, who to avoid at all costs.

Miho wondered absently it the teacher was going to keep calling on her all year just because she stayed quiet. Some teachers were like that she knew. She'd had enough of them. She glanced back to the teacher, wondering who his next target would be.

Tarii looked back at Miho's introduction. It was quite quick for someone who's entering a new environment. Then again from first glance she could easily see Miho didn't want to be here. She could only silently agree. With a sigh she stood up from her seat, brushing off some of the dust and fibers collected on her dress.

"Hello everyone, my name is Wasutori Tarii. I'm sure you've all heard that my father supplies the school with most of the lunch recipes. Just don't ask me for any free food, if you might," she said with a small smile. With that she quickly sat down, looking back at her book. She just hoped it didn't come off as pompously 'showing off' though. With a sigh she turned back to the pages of her book and started to half-read, while waiting for the next talker.

No homework? Score! Chihaya grinned triumphantly. This rocked so hard. And beat 1-A? hummm.. The teacher sounded as if he had meant it as a joke, but she didn't get it. at all.

And it seemed that there weren't any long winded people in this class. The two girls, Miho and Tarii, who had just introduced themselves, had finished off their speeches rather (or very much) quickly. Miho was extremely relieved to have her turn over and done with so swiftly, Chihaya mused. And Tarii obviously didn't want to introduce herself either. She wondered why, but it was Chihaya's policy to mind her own business, so she bottled them up again and stood up to introduce herself.

"Takanashi Chihaya, at your service!" She curved the corners of her mouth into a very large grin. No demure smiles here. "Nice to meet you all! It's my first year, or day, much rather, in Ouran, so please look after me! I hope we can all (stressing on all) be good friends!"

After her very sunny introduction, Chihaya sat herself down, waiting attentively for the next student to speak. It was always nice to make new friends.

As the teacher walked in, Akira leapt off his table, flashing Chihaya a thank you smile and sat at his table attentively. Introduce themselves? Mr Takashi seemed to be a rather okay teacher, I mean, no homework? Great! As the girls introduced themselves, he noted that Tarii-chan's family supplied food, Miho-chan didn't mention any.

After Chihaya-chan's turn however, he figured that it was his turn. Standing up, he flashed everyone a bright smile. "Hello! I'm Akira Fujimoto! You can call me Akira. My dad, well, he does interior design...so...he might have designed your room? You'll never know!"

Sitting down, he glanced at the other boys.

Shisori smiled as he tried to remember all the students' names. It seems to him that the class was dominated by females... Well, maybe it'll mean less disturbanes during lessons, "Okay, good to hear the introductions. Now, I wish to hear your opinions for our class motto."

He paused, laughing softly, "However, before we get started on that... I don't think you guys would want to choose a class president at thestart of the year, right? I don't think that you guys would be familiar with each other. However, if you wish to choose one now, please feel free to raise your hand. If not, we'll wait till the end of this week."

Class President?

It never crossed her mind at all. The only person she briefly talked to in the class was Miho, and that was it. She could bet all the money in her purse (which was about $50) that Miho would hate being class president seeing as it would drive a lot of people to talk to her. Though she did need her fill of fun. It had been practically forever since she had done a prank on a classmate. The fond memories of commoner school ravished through and she smirked. Why not have some good old fun?

With her smirk transformed into a quick smile Tarii raised her arm and rolled out her hand into a palm, determinedly. Let's see if she would get a wallflower transformed into a social little butterfly. "I would like to nominate Tamura Miho for the position of class president."

This was going to be a blast.

{:B Warned ya Tarii would become your best friend and your worst enemy as soon as you talked to her~}
PostPosted: Wed Feb 28, 2007 12:19 am

Wait what? Class president? The teacher had to be crazy to ask for nominations so soon after school started. No one would really well enough to nominat...

Miho froze. She couldn't have heard what she thought she had just heard. She turned to stare at Tarii in horror, no no no this was the last thing that she needed not only would people come talk to her, about their problems and how to fix them, and she'd have extra school duties but she was also fairly sure that she would have to mingle with other classes. Mingling meant large groups of people and being noticed and and and... Miho forced herself to close her eyes a breath. Having a panic attack now would do no good at all.

If she hadn't been fighting off a panic attack she would have been able to come up with a plan, some way out of this. But, as it was it was taking all her effort not to run screaming from the room. Every time her mother had dragged her to some party or function and thrust her into large groups of people the panic attacks had seemed to get worse. Now it was all she could do to control them in a situation like earlier today. If she had to actually converse with other people it was doubtful she could control them.

Absentmindedly she shoved her hair out of her face as she began to calm again. Okay, okay. She had to breath and she had to think. The first thing was to make sure that no one noticed her panic attack. Her hands brushed hair out of her face and she attempted to paste a fake smile on 'Please let those lessons Mother made me take about putting a smiling mask on work'. Okay, hopefully that would convince people that she wasn't freaking out. Now... to find some way out of this...

Tarii loved this little get-up too well. She had been learning the psychology of people since commoner school. They were always so pathetic with their tremendous mocking laughter. Yet she cracked right through them. She used whatever she could to turn the tables on them. Any resource available to her was exceeded to it's needed limit and in the end she prevailed. By 'prevailed' she got two of them expelled and another one flunked in half his classes, setting him back a year. It was her most amusing time in a normal school.

Miho was very predictable in her opinion. She was obviously shy and anti-social if she picked the corner of the room. Then there was also the how she made such a short length speech about herself to the whole class. It made her quite an easy target for her picking. Now people called her 'mean', 'horrible' and even a 'b***h' but she just laughed at them. Their banter just meant that her strategy to bring them down to their core was working. With every slew word targeted at her she just got closer to taking them down. The girl might not have been screaming or protesting but that doesn't mean she wasn't breaking down. With every passing second she was just more amused.
