Most Christians don't look too good upon Homosexuality, mostly because it's against their religion.
I'm a Christian too. I don't think you should look at it too hard. Seems like he's just being nice and trying to get you to go to his church. If you don't want to go and he's just bugging you, then ask your mom to ask him to leave you alone, I'm pretty sure if you ask he will.
And if he doesnt, just delete his messages when you get them, or have your mail service direct his e-mails into spam. Yahoo does that. No real need to change your adress.
