The most bizzar thing happened today, Raziel grew. The fact that he grew wasn't the bizzar part though, it was the fact that he seemed to change from one form to another, almost as if growing in stages. One second he was a toddler, then he was a child. It happened while I was giving him a bath after he decided to play in some mud. I dunked him under playfully to clean his face and hair, and there was this glowing light from his body under the water. The next thing that happened was I pulled him back up and he was a child. It makes me wonder if the same will happen with Pastela and Shale. It doesn't seem to hurt them, which is a good thing, but it's something very curious to experience.

I was right, later this evening, while we were eating some berries I had found for dessert, Pastela was cradled in my arms and drinking some juice and suddenly hiccuped. At that same moment, she shined a bright light and when the light stopped, she climbed out of my arms and went to eat the fruit like Raziel, now a toddler. This place is so interesting, but at least I know what to expect for Shale when he grows up into a toddler.

I had to sit Raziel down today and give him a long lecture on responsability. I found out today that he had wondered off and actually into someone's home. On top of that, he had made up a potion and drank it! He claims that there were even instructions left out inviting him to do so, and I don't think he makes up stories, but still, it's better to teach him to take blame for his own actions young. Besides, he has two younger siblings that he will have to look out for when he's old enough. I've decided that once he's mature enough, I'll leave them in his care and return back to my old life. I love them dearly, but I feel that they might learn better in the company of their own Species. I can't teach them everything about their culture, but maybe someone else can.

Ooo! It looks like Raziel has drank the salty Potion of The Raging Beast! I wonder how it will effect him?

Congratulations Raziel!

The Guardians are pleased that you have chosen to grow and expand your role on the island.

However, drinking a strange potion doesn't come without consequence. You feel urges and instincts that you never have. Your hands tingle a little bit, alerting you to a change that is beginning in your body.

Maybe its obvious to you what is going on, or maybe you need time to figure it out; it doesn't matter right now because the reality is, you now have the ability FISHER SPIDER! (Feral)

((Obviously, this ability will start out weak, with many limitations, but it is up to you, Kira of Flames, how you choose to develop it. Fisher Spider means that Raziel will have the characteristics of a fisher spider, including walking on water and being able to hold his breath for extended periods of time. This ability will be unique to Raziel only, however you may allow him to have other abilities as Pae'il are magical creatures. Just be aware that the Guardian Blessed ability is the only official one however. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Please remember, all powers come with weaknesses too. The more well-rounded the ability is developed (ie, strength AND weakness) the better the chance of being chosen for Elder when they are older. ))


(( It would be a good idea for you to read up on the fisher spider's abilities and limitations. ^__^ ))

Wow, can't believe Mom has been keeping a journal about my activities... This is kinda cool reading it and seeing what kind of things I've done while I was a toddler. And I never realized she was worried about me being too quiet and keeping too myself. I just felt more comfortable watching other Pae's for a while before joining them.

Anyways, I guess since I've started acting more on my own, my mom, Koorie, has given me the journal for me to write for myself. I guess I'll start with some of the weirdest stuff that's been happening to me since I drank that potion I made (which was totally nasty and icky). I've noticed that even though I don't like to swim much, being in water calms me and makes me feel happy. On top of that, I've seen myself actually walk on water... though maybe it was just my imagination... I'm not sure I want to tell Mom yet, though.

Well, it's just pouring rain down. I mean, it's REALLY coming down, and everything is soaked. Mom and Shale had gone out to get some fire wood to try to keep dry enough to use to keep US dry and warm. Of course, she ended up coming back with a baby Pae swaddled tightly in leaves.

Pastela, who was helping me set up some tarps to keep us and the wood dry, instantly began to play with the babe. The really strange part was that Seth (that's what mom named him) only complained whenever we tried to remove the leaves, and then snuggled into them.

Well, I'm really hoping the rain goes away soon, there's not much you can do when your mom is worried about you getting sick....
