Marcus shrugged his shoulder, and got on one knee, prostrating in reverence. His head was bowed, and he licked his lips with a serpent-like tongue. His pale skin crackled as he smiled. "Very well then, if you would prefer a physical showing of my allegiance. From hence forth, the King has my sword, my fist, and.." His wings outstretched from beneath his light clothing and spread out majestically. "..and my wings."

Haseo watched the scene as he stood his ground. "She's got lit fuse all the time. Heh, I wonder if she ever gets any dates with that attitude," he thought to himself before walking from his center position towards the doors.

Haseo felt a firm but feminine hand on his shoulder, a tail curling around his leg, and breath that was too warm on the back of his neck. The faint creeking of leather gave the final clue as to the person who'd stopped him. "And so who do we have here? A spy or a coward?" bespoke a female in musical yet harsh tones.

And if I'm a spy, why the hell would I be announcing myself to world?" he shot back before picking up her hand off of him. He let go of it, feeling a very hot sensation in his palms from only holding her a few seconds. Haseo faces the fire cat, crossing his arms over his breast. He leans back a bit to get a good look at her. "Who are you supposed to be anyway; a b***h or a hardass?"

Metal on stone sounds reverberated as the mechanical man approached the center of the room. He was not human, but his programming as he would tell others allowed him to do things that were similiar to there species. Unfoturnately his past was not as simple, as something happened that fair portion of his memory banks to have been wiped clean.
Still he learned as anyone else did. His neural net processing new data, and forming new routines and sub routines for the duties he would perform. He was given free will and choice by the King that found him, and as such having no other purpose he found a new one in the Kings Crimson Brigade.
Soon, he turned smartly, looking at the King. Executing military movements that he doubted anyone else could match. It was drill and ceremony type functions, but to the onlooker it did look good. Even it it went over board, but still it was his choice, and it was in tribute to the King.
Deftly he bent to one knee. His optical implants looking down. His sword, was drawn and pointed down, and outward in front of him.
"I Sir Steel reaffirm my fealty to King Galen A'Asteran. His will is mine, his slightest word is my command, and his enemies are my own. By your command, I will honor the Kings name. Through him I will faithfully discharge my duties in the Knights of the Crimson Brigade, and by my oath I will obey those orders given to me by the Steward Atepah, and Captain Gwyndara."
There Sir Stell remained until, the King nodded towards him. He then stood, and approached his Captain, where in respect, he kneeled before her. His words had been given, and by his bow his respect to her also.
"By your command, Captain."

He leans back a bit to get a good look at her. "Who are you supposed to be anyway; a b***h or a hardass?" Ulrick approached the two, his hand upon the hilt of his sword. He paused only momentarily by the two. In hushed tones, he spoke. "I think you two should chill out. The King has enough on his mind without taking notice of what you two are doing." Ulrick did not wait for a response, but continued on to the center as others had gone. In the same manner as others, he knelt on one knee to the King, his sword presented in a fashion to salute his King, and his eyes downcast. "I Sir Ulrick Tussaud, Sargeant at Arms to the Knights of the Crimson Brigade, reaffirm my vow of fealty to his magesty, King Galen A'Asteran the First. To Captain Gwyndara, I reaffirm my oath to faithfully serve her in the Knights of the Crimson Brigade." The King nodded to him, and he stood walking over to Captain Gwydara, who he nodded to in respect, and finally he took his place by her side.

Kas flipped a very crude gesture at Ulrick's back.... "Asstard" she muttered before turning back to Haseo.
..."What am I you ask? Me, I'm just a killer, nothing more nothing less." She shot back sounding slightly hurt. Her grip hadn't tightened on her blade, but her eyes had gotten firier.

Marcus stood from his prostration and retracted his wings back under his clothing. He eyed about the courtyard where many and gathered, eyeing the conversation between Haseo and Kas. He did not make a gesture, nor any emotion in response to what was transpiring. His arms were folded, and he once again matched the rest of the crowd, relatively.

( W A R N I N G !
I guess the presentation was premature. So lets look at how a bunch of people screwed up. Not naming any names, but you'll know who you are.
Prostration? That means to cast (oneself) face down on the ground in humility, submission, or adoration. That is not what is traditional. All that is expected is a kneel or a bow, as is the tradition in a European court. To do otherwise would traditionally get one's head cut off. If you think you are an equal to the King, then prove your deference for the position, KNEEL.
Talking and goofing off amongst yourselves? That is so beyond rude. In the movies where people are being presented to a monarch, do they jump up and yell at one another? NO! Because they would be escorted to the nearest curb and get dumped into a puddle.
The throne room is not a place for you to threaten one another. It is not a place to draw blood, make threats or generally make asses of yourselves. Fortunately, you can always make your own threads to fight and argue amongst yourselves. But if this crap continues, characters will start dropping like flies.)

Gwyndara acknowledged her crimson brigades with a slight nod of her head and flashed them a very rare smile. Letting them know she approved of them. For in her eyes they were the finest knights alive.

She shot back sounding slightly hurt. Her grip hadn't tightened on her blade, but her eyes had gotten firier. "A killer?" his eyes narrowed down to hers. His face became serious and grave. He wasn't going to kid around anymore. "Just who or what do you exactly kill, if you don't mind me asking?" Haseo was unarmed except the sack of food and supplies he carried. His clothing was light and didn't seem it would protect much against anything. It would appear that he was at a great disadvantage against the creature before him.

((well, since i know the first part is address to myself in particular, then I will reply back, neither in spite nor in any negative manner just in explanation.
I follow Oriental methods where looking directly at the king could be considered a form of disrespect. In Japan, students do not make eye contact with their teachers in some cases unless they wish to challenge their authority. In older Chinese courts, all others were to bow and bow their heads in reverence to the emperor. I am following that method.
However in any situation, I agree with you, that fighting in a King or any other Royalty's court except with somewhat exception to a Khan's court in Mongolia, fighting and argument are best suited elsewhere))

(Hugs you for paying attention! I didn't want people to think that they needed to lay down and play dead, just respect. I appreciate your clarification. Thank you!)

Kat's heart swelled with pride as she looked at her mentor and her King. She walked to the throne and knelt before the King. "As always I pledge my service." she said humbly. Then moved away.

standing to the back of the room, the elf priestess leans aginst the wall behind her, partly out of her tired feet and partly out of pain, the wound she had sastained from removing the curse was still bleeding and the pain was shooting threw her body. "oh no..." she wispered to herself knowing full well that by removing a curse to an object, one can actually run the curse in them selfs. since the rose on her blouse was full bloom she it would not be permanate but it will take its toll on her while it ran its corse.
kneeling a sharp pain ripps threw her body, nearly making her cry out in pain. Her gwee hops off her sholder and looks up at her from the ground wimpering. beside the gwee her 2 fairys land to try to calm him down. only being able to remain conchousness for a little while everything soon fades to black and the elf priestess lays unconcous on the ground by the back wall as her baby dragon wimpers at her.
