Rhapsody walked up closer to his grandfather as the result of his grandmothers nudge. The stallion was rather big compared to himself and his father. But his father wasn't a small Soquili either. He hoped that maybe even though he was pink he would inherit the family height.
"I don't know." he responded, not sure whether he liked to run or not. He really hadn't done a whole lot of running yet. "I sort of enjoy playing tag...even though I've played it twice." he replied quietly.
Jazz watched quietly from beside his mother as his son and father talked. Maybe he would get him to be more open. Or atleast a bit more managable.
Settia was thinking the same thought about rhapsody being managable as she walked calmly along side her son. Glad that the fighting had stopped.

Dyami chuckled a bit. " tag' always a fun game to play though i haven't played that well since your father was your age." he ineed was trying to get Rhapsody to be a little more open as he could tell he was simulari a way to how he was back when he was his age. " is there anything else you like?" looking back a moment, he grined at his mate then turned his attention back to his grandson.

The colt shurgged his shoulders not too sure of what else he liked. He hadn't really done much except go off on his own and be alone. "I like wondering on my own and being alone." he said figuring that was as good as any answer. "Other than that, I haven't done much."

" oh really you actualy like being by yourself? thats a pity since theres plenty who are nice that you could meet, even some your own age but i think theres a reason behind you not wanting to go out for this walk or meeting others am i wrong?" Dyami looked at Rhaspody as he walked. he wondered if the colt would ever be more open. shaking his head, he smilied a Rhaspody. " oh and just so you know i myself love to go exploring but its more fun when you have someone along." looking back a moment to check that Settia and Jazz where still following, he turned his attention back to his grandson.

"I have met two my own age and only one was nice and the other wanted to kick me off the beach. And both were girls, so I don't think there are very many nice foals or girls for that matter." he said and huffed thinking of Yue and how she had argued with him to no end. She hadn't said anything about his color but she did say he was whimpy.
Settia smiled up at her mate as he looked back and then continued his conversation with Rhapsody. The colt was talking, that was a good thing. He was still a bit rough around the edges but talking. She looked over to Jazz who was still beside her and gave him a warm smile.
Jazz gave a sheepish grin back to him mother. His son was actually talking and not arguing for once. But of course it was with his father and not him. If he were in the conversation Rhapsody would be arguing with him. But maybe his dad could tame him a bit.

Dyami chuckled. " well ou got to understand not everyone is nice but you will come across those who are nice. take a look at me you just met me and i'm not mean am i? and im sure if you meet other foals you'll meet some nice ones." he nudged Rhaspody softly with another chuckle. " oh and how has your father been treating you?" courious as to how Jazz was doing as a father, he definatly needed to have that talk with Jazz.

"I don't know about there being nice ones out there. I have only met a few nice adults, as for foals, that remains to be seen." Rhapsody said rather adult-like and matter-of-factly. He wasn't that much of a social butterfly and really didn't want to be so since that was a girly thing.
He shrugged his shoulders when he was asked about his father. He never much paid attention to him or how he acted. "I don't know. Never really paid attention to how he acted. I guess he has been good to me so far." he said not really caring that much.
Jazz winced at Rhapsody's words. His son didn't seem to care about too much in the world. He really didn't know where this attitude came from. He deffinately wasn't this angsty and he didn't think Sundance was either. Though he hadn't seen her since she had come to the teepee to tell him she was pregnant.

" well im sure you will meet or nice foals if you really try." Dyami shook his head finding it amusign a bit is grandoson used an adult matter of fact tone. but was very surprised by Rhaspody's next responce and shook his head. " i hope he does treat you like a good father should and that you two get along. but i take it you two dont?" seemed to him he definaltly needed to talk to Jazz about parenting or atlest being a father.

Rhapsody shrugged his shoulders again. His father was nice and always tried to spend time with him and get to know him, trying to form that father son bond. Rhapsody just wasn't like that though. "He is nice to me and we mostly get along. He tries his best to get to know me better and all that father son stuff. I just like being alone." the foal said. He didn't want his grandfather to get the wrong impression that his dad wasn't trying to be a good father.

" hmm i see, well sometimes it nice to be alone butthen its also sometimes nice to be around others." Dyami nudged at Rhapsody softly and smilied. " up for a little run to the clearing up ahead?" he grinned a little at Rhapsody to see what he would do. if anythign DYami hoped his son would be a good father to his foals.

Rhapsody looked up at his grandfather's smiling face and gave sort of a half smile. He didn't really want to run but the air was chilly and it might do him some good to warm up. "I guess, but I will beat you." the young foal said and suddenly bolted off towards the clearing before the older stallion could say a word.

Dyami watched as Rhapsody took off right after impling he would beat him. lauhging, he took off after Rhapsody and forgetign that his mate and son where right behind them. catching up and keeping pace with Rhapsody easly, he grinned. " you will have to be faster to beat your grandfather Rhapsody."

Settia watched as her mate and grandson took off suddenly. She really wasn't up to running after them and watched as they headed off in to the distance. SHe knew she would meet up with them in the meadow ahead. Besides she was happy that her grandson was not complaining but doing something constructive.
Jazz also was glad his son was doing something other than fighting with him constantly. Hopefull this meeting with his grandfather would make him easier to handle. If not he had someone to help him since his good friend Ever Sacrifice had offered to help out with the difficult colt.
Rhapsody didn't even look over at his grandfather. To do so would slow him down and he would lose his balance and concentration. His little legs pumped at fast as they could go and he focus on getting to the meadow. He was determined to finish the race. It didn't matter that it was just for fun.

Dyami tossed his head and stayed pace with Rhaspody and looked over for a breif moment. he could see that Rhaspody was not going to let anything keep him from getign side tracked from their race. grinning, he pulled a way from Rhaspody a bit knowing it would get him to go faster. besides they would soon reach where they where headed and he wasn't about to let the game end to easly.

Rhapsody watched as his gradnfather pulled out ahead of him slightly. This he did not like and picked up his pace the best he could. His legs going faster and faster. They were almost to the meadow ahead and he didn't want to give up too easily. He didn't want to give up at all really.
