I don't think the F@G PMs needed done away with, just modified. Add another profile option that says "Allow Friends@Gaia PMs" with two options, "Yes" and "No."

But the F@G pm's did need to stop. People abused them. One person on Toastie's friends list (a school friend's sister..), sent out F@G pm's everytime she started questing for an item.

Toastie just realized today that her post style might be a tad faint for MeruMeru.

She drew random sleep-deprived arts in 3rd of Meru and Nymmie.
Only she didn't know what meru was wearing, and it turned out with a vague meru tied up with a train behind her, and nymmie on one side with an old school villain's moustache.

And then there's the random eyes everywhere.. and words. and such.

IF I HAD A GOLD FOR EVERY FRIENDS@GAIA PM I HAVE RECIEVED I'D HAVE A REALLY EXPENSIVE STORE ITEM.
IF I HAD A GOLD FOR EVERY F@G PM I SENT I'D HAVE 2 GOLD. Unless it was your first PM on double gold week. Then you'd have like 150 gold.
