Next time you get that question, you should say it's about Aliens that look like ducks/penguins (your choice) taking over the world, but they can only come out at Twilight or the New Moon.
Sorry, I'm in happy hyper...randomness mood. Forgive me?

Just saying "It's about vampires," is far from the truth, but I always say it.
After all, how else am I supposed to explain to my father (who is convinced "I can't date until I'm married") that I'm into vampire romance?
So, yeah, the book is the best EVER, but it's one of those things you can't explain. You have to read it to understand.

I never carry Twilight in public places because of fear of getting it dirty. But I don't like saying what its about because then people are like uh huh yeah, and its kind of annoying.

most people don't ask what i'm reading, because i always have a book with me. but sometimes, like today, people will ask. i had twilight in my class today (i was loaning it out to a friend) and a girl asked what it was about. i'm like "it's about vampires... and romance....*dreamy look*" and she's like "umm ookaay. that's... nice." hehe.

♫ Fer Sure Maybe//Fer Sure Not ♪ ★ The day I got my book, I carried it around for a few periods. Basically I got reactions like: "I hate that book, it's so cheesey" or "Why do goth people like you always have red and black books?" I sear, that's the stupidest thing anyone has ever said to me concerning stereotypes, and books. ♥ ♪ Fer Sure F//Fer Sure Bomb ♫

I'm a little shy to admit I'm interested in vampires or supernatural creatures at all to people who don't know me very well. I'm not very open, and I like my friends to know me for who I am and other people to view me as relatively normal.
This hasn't happened with Twilight or New Moon, as I read them both during the summer before I started school, or even Sunshine, which I'm reading now. But I recently got a tattoo of the kanji for "vampire" and am worried about people asking what it means, which they will inevitably do, if they see it.
I freaked my fiance's English professor out (He immigrated from China). "That means bloodsucker! Vampire! ...Who did this to you?!" - Dr. Lee
Since it's three vertical kanji, I've decided to tell people who ask that it means "Live, Laugh, Love" or something cutesy like that.
