Grip of Death ... exciting on top of surviving the typical 70% failure rate that this method of fertilization goes through rofl Yeah no kidding. :/ What's so wrong with adopting kids? Sounds way easier and is probably cheaper too. You can save yourself a few years of money by adopting an older kid as well. Sheesh....I'll never understand people.

Sheesh....I'll never understand people. I dunno, I don't get it either. neutral I've heard people say it's special to share your blood with someone. But that doesn't make a good relationship. The broken families prove that; adoption (whether official or completely informal) proves that.

Adopting kids it's perfectly fine with me, as long as you give them a good home. But saving spermNeggs, above human beings who are suffering from dehydration, severe injury, disease ect. is completely immoral to me, wich is funny because that's what the pro-lifers say about abortion rolleyes It's not so funny when the babys are not even cells yet, yet it is top priority to save "them".

They are technically made up of cells. But... gah, lost my quote... I think my numbers are off, but I've heard something like.... a three-day-old-human embryo has 150 cells and a housefly's brain has 10,000? Something like that.
"They call them 'snowflake babies' because, like snowflakes, they're all white."

"They call them 'snowflake babies' because, like snowflakes, they're all white." That's way too much. A 3-day-old embryo consists of 12-16 cells (depending on development rate). A Swedish tabloid recently wrote a piece about the "miracle baby" who was saved from Katrina as an embryo. They kind of failed to mention all the people who could have been saved instead. I wonder how many embryos were inserted in his mother? To get one born child?

'Snowflake children' sounds like a racist term to me. I mean, bush didn't go all out to save the thousands of poor already living african americans in katrina, but he gives all out praise to these 'snowflake' white kids who whose embryos took top priority in some peopels minds over said african ameicans. and people get all upset that smargaret sanger's thought something good might come out of eugenics rolleyes

I saw that in the news. Baby NOAH was born recently (I find this use of irony and wit incrediably misplaced - it's like naming a baby found in the rubble of the boxing day tsunami "Swell")

They're like snowflakes because "they're all unique" But really, the white and pretty and perfect joke is too easy. I heard it on SNL.
