Her eyes lidded slightly as she watched him canter off. The mare always loved a race and never second thought about taking on any challege for one she came across.
A quick snap of her tail and she was off. Her wings tucked tightly against her back as she galloped past him. "I warn you now. You might get tired." A quick grin as she turned her head around to watch him for a moment quickly turned into a small smirk which curled the right corner of her mouth. And with that she was off.

Surprised, Fenrir laughed, a booming one rippling through giving warmth to his chest. A mare with a sense of humour! Certainly her wings didn't seem a hindrance. A smile appeared, a challenge she wants, a challenge she gets. the wandering wild stallion had not roamed the seven lands without strengthening his running legs. A final toss of his head, he leapt forward and surged into a thundering gallop, catching neck to neck with the mare. "Wait till you get left behind!" he chuckled. A small stream trickled through before them, and he jumped across in a bound.

"If anyone is going to get left behind it's you, Fenfen." She grinned wildly as she lowered her head slightly to cut down on wind resistance. The small stream nothing to her as she bounded across, keeping up with his pace.
A small snort, a flick of her tail and she started to inch her way ahead as much as she could. He was a pretty fast runner, but that didn't mean she didn't have any tricks up her sleeves. Even if they were dirty tricks, it was all in fun.

He snorted in reply, "Sif! I lose to no one!" his gait has been easy so far, theres more left in him yet. "You could start by telling me your name, or do you prefer to be called mare?" he yelled, edging forward to get the lead. His curly mane and tail streamed out behind him while his legs gracefully pounded into the grass.

Zhenga giggled lightly and turned her head to look at him, a sly grin creeping it's way onto her face. "You lose to no one huh? Well, today just might be the day that you do."
Her hooves pounded lightly into the ground as she zipped along next to him. Having no clue to exactly where or if they were running to some place. It just seemed like they were running wherever they could. That kind of freedom to just run sent shivers down Zhenga's spine for a second. "If you really want to know my name is Zhenga." She leaned over lightly and licked his cheek before she moved away to try and pull ahead again.

"Zhen..." he nearly stopped straight in his tracks and stumbled over his hooves when he received a lick on his cheek. What on soquili green earth was that? He was so shocked he didn't have time to blush and thank the soquili gods that his body hasn't forgotten to run and kept him going beside her. Fenrir shooked his head violently and bucked next to her, narrowing his eyes as he remembers those mares and their tricky ways. That wont stop him from besting her, he thought, preferring to keep -other- feelings down. He gave a laugh, and stuck his tongue out at her, "See that you don't run into a tree or worst a lake in this weather!" He wasn't sure where they were headed but that has never stopped him before, he just ran and ran until he tired and settled for the night.
still....she was....awfully pretty....
( pssss did i ask you before? zhenga has a mate or going to right?)

((You did. And not that I know of. *chuckles* X3))
She giggled lightly as she pulled ahead a bit for a moment. It seemed to have worked for a moment in slowing him down, but he quickly caught up to her again. A minor distraction it seemed.
"If anyone is going to run into anything it will probably be you. It's easy to avoid things if you're paying attention." And at that second she bounded over a log, her wings flaring slightly to keep her from landing too hard before she took off again.

( xD....yay, lets see how rp goes~)
The stallion grinned, Zhenga seemed able to to keep to wit and didnt mind jabs, "Like a mare could pay attention?" he laughed again at the comical ruffling as she leapt of the log and landed. Sidestepping it himself, he lagged slightly back and ran to the other side of her, then raced up and started veering her off. There was something he wanted to show her, a place he discovered near the mountains where there was a cave.

Giving a small snort as his comment, she flicked her tail at him, aiming at his hind quarters. "And like a stallion could see anything that was right in front of his face." As he started to veer her off, she raised an eyebrow but went along with it. Though still she keep running. "Getting tired are we? Do you want to call it quits and take a rest?"

"is that a hint now?" he asked, grinning at her. He whinnied as her tail hit against his skin, and turned to give an air n** at her mane. "There is a something in this direction that would give a good ending to a hard run." He remembers when he first chanced upon the cave. Wandering through it there was a grand underground lake, glinting with lights off the walls. Its waters were warm and soothing for the aches The mountains were nearing so Fenrir tossed his head, indicating a gap to one side.

"Nope. Just figured you'd be tired by now is all." She grinned widely and flicked her tail. Though this time not at him. "Really now? And what would that something be?" As he motioned towards the gap in the mountains, she veered off on her own towards it. Wondering curiously what he had planned and exactly what it was that he wanted to show her.

"Something.." he said, casually slowing down and soon he walked to the opening, sweat glistening off his coat. He ducked low and walked straight in, occasionally glancing back to see Zhenga. When the bluish light hits against the walls, they emerged into a large cavern and there the lake laid, soft and serene. He grinned and waded in, fluttering his ears happily.

Zhenga slowed down as they reached the entrance. She tilted her head a bit as she watched him walk into the darkness. A bit aprehensive about going under ground, she bit the bullet and followed him.
As they reached the cavern, the sound and smell of water filled her senses. And she soon spied the large lake in front of them. But it didn't seem that FenFen was too into staring at the water and just waded right in. She walked towards the edge of the water and watched him.

He swam around, tilting his head curiously at Zhenga, "What are you waiting for?The waters warm, no worries, it's good." he said, urging her in. Fenrir clambered up the side of the bank, giving himself a shake but still dripping. The water dragged down his wavy tresses, and one strand curled around his muzzle. He snorted at it, shaking his head to try to get it off. "Don't you like the water?" he then asked, wondering which soquili would not appreciate splashing in cool rivers during the summer and hot springs during such cold winters as these.

"I just wasn't sure if it was warm or not. That's all." Zhenga eyed the water quietly for a moment before she trotted right in. Wading out until it reached her shoulders. Though the feathers on her wings were starting to get weighed down by the water they were absorbing.
She swam in a few circles before she clambered out of the water. "That wasn't too bad. Could be a bit warmer, but I suppose I can't control the heat of it anyway. So no use complaining." Spreading out her wings, she gave them a good shake. Sending water droplets everywhere. They looked odd. Feathers smoothed down while others were fluffed out and looked ragged.
