Every one of my friends knows I'm Yaoi oriented.
My parents... heck no! They'd never understand and I hate explaining feelings.

Azouie Heh, I'd never have a chance. On the downstairs computer I can't get away with anything. My dad's much more skilled with a computer than I am (heck, he built his own computer before I was born o.o) but thankfully I have the upstairs pc in my room (at which I am currently sitting *waves*) so he can't spy on me then xd Thankfully they haven't so far (though I think my mum's getting a little suspicious, seeing as every time there's any hint at slash on TV, I can't help blurting out "aww, that's so cute!" and I just get an odd stare from her) but even if they do, I'll explain it's perfectly normal and there's no reason I can't like it. Besides, it might give me a chance to get into another debate with my mum and win, as always blaugh *Hugs* poor you for being broke. I currently own, well let's just say an extremely small amount of money, so you can tell I'm doing well xd it took me ages to save up for everything I have now (22 Manga, soon to be 25, and about.. *counts* 19 Anime DVDs, soon to be 20), but it's well worth it ^__^ I DL it openly... but if it's in the porn range I try to hide it cause I know that if dad catches me he'll go out of his way just to embarrasses me again. ^^ Yeah for wining debates. ^^ Umm... I have more then what you do... but not as much Yaoi. I have 39 mangas... and I can't really be bothered to count all of my DVDs I own... But out of the mangas I've only brought about 7 of them... the rest I was either given money to get them, or they were given to me as presents, and out of all my DVDs I've only brought about 11... the rest I either won (Only two of them) got given them as presents or got the money off my mum to get them.

wendy_moon I DL it openly... but if it's in the porn range I try to hide it cause I know that if dad catches me he'll go out of his way just to embarrasses me again. ^^ Yeah for wining debates. ^^ Umm... I have more then what you do... but not as much Yaoi. I have 39 mangas... and I can't really be bothered to count all of my DVDs I own... But out of the mangas I've only brought about 7 of them... the rest I was either given money to get them, or they were given to me as presents, and out of all my DVDs I've only brought about 11... the rest I either won (Only two of them) got given them as presents or got the money off my mum to get them. You're lucky. Your dad would just embarrass you. Mine would ban me from using the computer ever again, probably. Hence why I'm happy to have my own PC now. *does proud little dance* Wow, 39 Manga... Jeez. Then again, a guy I know has about.. 42? Or something. But they're all Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. And something else, I can't remember. Ack, you won two DVDs?! You're so lucky! If there was ever a chance to win DVDs near me, it would never be for anime... Plus I can't get to a convention until next March, and even then my mum's thinking of not letting me go! Blegh. She thinks I'm not responsible enough just because it's a weekend thing. darn overprotective parent. I guess I could always ask my dad.. But anyway. Trailing off topic here. One thing I never get as presents is anime or manga. Unless I ask for it in advance, then my mum will buy it and save it until my birthday/Christmas.

I am openly a Yaoi/Slash fan with my firends. (I even got one addicted to it! 3nodding *dances*)
Though with my parents, I am not. My mom would either freak or tell me to my face it was okay, but go talk to her friends about how 'unclean' it is and other things. (She is a dedicated Christian. Luckily, she isn't a huge hardcore one. Thank Bob for that.)I really don't know about my dad. We aren't very close. I hardly spend time with him but like a month or so out of the year. Where he lives, there aren't many homosexuals or at least any open homosexuals.. So he never says anything about it. So I just keep it to myself. Which is now easy with my uber cool laptop. Which is messed up right now. sad crying So I am on the computer in the den. Let's just hope that my mom doesn't decide to look at any of the site I go too.. But I shall soon get the disk to rebuilt my laptop. (All my Data.. crying )

Here on Gaia and with my friends I'm very open about my obsession love for yaoi. Other than that, nope. Too afraid of word some how getting to my parents, and that would be a very bad thing.

I heart Yaoi! I dont say anything about it at school (Then again I Dont say much of ANYTHING at school... not the point). I think people get the idea when they walk into my room and see my Yaoi Paddle on top of my monitor. ^^

Usako-san Are you openly a yaoi lover or is it a secret? Well let's see, my friends know I'm obsessed with canon yaoi and are begining to realize that canon, to me, is very subjective. My sister has suspicions that she trys to blackmail me with. My Mom doesn't know, but I don't think she'd really care. Me and my Dad joke around about slash a lot (we have competitions to see who can come up with the most disturbing pairings) and I think he knows theres more to it than an ongoing joke. *huggles everyone who has to deal with homophobic parents* @PainfullyVivid- Your sig made me smile. heart
