I have mixed feelings about the movie.
On one side it fills in a few holes about what the Elric brothers have been doing and what happenes to all the charecters after the end of the series.
The down side is i was very dissaponted with the ending. If ANYONE was satisfied with Ed and Al being stuck on the other side of the gate in our world, then your crazy, not only does it make me want to know what happens AFTER the movie, no one gets paired up with anyone either.
Oh and don't deny there was some RoyxEd and EdxAlphons love in the movie you know thiere was XD

I think it isn't worth s**t. xD
I just thought it sucked. Ed keeps on falling off of stuff, yet he never DIES...The storyline's boring, and I don't like the art very much (if you look closely, the style of drawing faces is different then Hiromu Arakawa's.) Which makes sense because she didn't create it or the storyline. It's an alternate ending to the manga that hasn't finished yet.

I liked it. Yes, the ending did suck, but the rest of the movie makes it worth watching. The first time I saw it I hadn't finished the anime, so I was confused to no end. Watch the last few episodes first! Despite tthe ending I bought it. I wish they would make a sequel, though.

Of course it is a awesome movie with very very good music of my favourite band. It's worth it.

It was so-so I liked it but the ending was dissapointing and made me kinda angry. But all in all it was good. ninja

wolfess16 heart the movie was really good and i have a sneaky supision(sp?) that they are going to make another movie or a spinoff of the series or something just b/c of the ending...also if u have never seen the last like 3 eps you will not understand half the movie so ya... heart i know what you mean..i watch the moive before the last 5 episodes i barly under stood it.. but i evenually got it after a new years eve all nighter whating the WHOLE series and the movie

the movie was the best! i watched it 20x i love the beginning song and the end is very sad, it makes you think, "DAMN THIS IS THE END OF FMA!!!!"
But then as you watch the end it seems like it is just the beginning of a new version of FMA, if you ever seen or heard an anime called steamboy, i feel as if a new version of FMA will be based on that with ed and Al all i can say is this movie is 2 thumbs up! get it and watch it and feel happy after you got it and feel sad once its over.!!!!

I love FMA but to tell you the truth for the last few episodes and especially the movie i was like- wtf?
The way it ended just felt too neat and quickly tied up sweatdrop

I thought it was pretty good, though it hasn't got as much humour as in the seires but I still LOVE IT, although the ending wasn't quite as strong as it could be.

It's definitely a moive that you see after watching the series other wise you're completely confused. It was sad (I cried A LOT) and frustrating at the end since the boys wound up in our world and Winry was left in the other world, but I think overall it was a logical ending to the series.

oh its a great movie and worth your time but they could have made it better, there where a few gaps and the way it eended was so that they could make a sequil but im not shure if there gonna make one tho
