"Um.... South, I think. It's supposedly colder. Only, I don't know which way is south. The land is so big." He laughed softly, before smiling. "I heard from a stargazer that one of the stars points south... so maybe if we walked opposite there, we'd find south."

Leini looked up to where the sun was. "Well, it's easy to find south," She said calmly. It was a bit late in the day, so the sun was in the western part of the sky.
"I can tell from where the sun is..." She said.
She paused for a second. "D'you think my brother went south?" She asked.

"Depends on what he was looking for. Did he say anything before he left?" He asked, turning to the sun.
"You can..? I usually wait for the northen star at night, but If you can tell from the sun, that may be more usefull."

"My brother said he wanted to know more about the world..." Leini paused, looking up at the sky again. "Well, I've never learned around the stars at night. It's usually safer to travel in the day. That's what Daddy told me..."
she grinned started to look which way was south. "Well, south is... that way!" she pointed into the southern direction.

"It easier to hunt, when the stars are out. Because then nothing else can see you. But when your young, like you. You can't see them either, so I can see why it'd be best for you to stay in the light." Inyoni chuckled, before walking towards the direction of her paw.
"Let's go see what we can find in the south. And ask where we could find knowlage of the world. That's what your brother would seek, right? So he should be there."

"I guess so... But I don't know how to hunt yet. Never asked... And I left too soon to actually go fast enough to hunt..."
Leini trailed behind the older dog. Her eyes sparkled in delight.
"You really think so...?" She asked hopefully. "You think we'll find my brother...?"

"Mm. I really think we will, one day. You may be a lot older by that time, but that would be little to worry about. You might even know more about the world than him!" He said warmly with a chuckle, heading to the taller grasses to keep hidden from those higher on the food chain.
"And I'll teach you how to hunt. Trust me, you'll need it."

Leini grinned up at the older dog. "Thank you..." She said. She looked down a bit. "If I'm a burden, just let me know..." She said. She wasn't used to holding the attention for another too long. She was usually spoken to in a group.

"Ah yes, but that's a short distance sprint, that is different to traveling across the plains with hungry creatures forcing you to run when you can't.
But yes, South we shall go." He agreed with a nod of his head, beaming at the young female.

Leini nodded. She didn't see how a short sprint and a long won were different. She was but a pup after all. She wagged her tail and started off to the point that was south.

Inyoni chuckled softly, before walking along beside her, heading south to hopefully find the things they were searching for, or at least another lead to go on.
