Chinook rose to his feet as he nuzzled her. "Yes, we are going." He began to walk out of the den ahead of her. Chinook nose the air taking in a deep scent as many wolves of the lowlands pack scent was carried to him. Many were already gathering. It was a good thing there den wasn't to far from the pack's meeting place. he glanced back at her before continuing to move.

Chenoa walked evenly side by side with him. A swift breeze lifted fine hairs sending a shiver up her spine. The howl lingered in her mind, she had no idea what it was for or where it came from. But she did know it had a point and a meaning that she must find out.

Raven nodded her head and trotted beside Hiei. She knew that he didn't want her cheating on him with any other male that she might encounter from another pack, not like she would do that to him. She was a loyal lover to him and only stuck by his side, despite her adopted father's protests. She gazed at Elric and narrowed her eyes slightly, as if she didn't want him near her. He seemed a little too sneaky for his own good and he recked of trouble from Raven's point of view.
Tsume glanced back to see Raven trotting beside Hiei. Instead of saying something, he held his tongue. He had wanted her to mate to Shikon, but that was about to change. He would have to look elsewhere for a mate for his sons. Shaking his head, he picked up his pace slightly, wondering what the old wolf might want whenever they got to the Valley. Shikon and Zelda, who had decided to take the risk and trot beside the Alpha's son, exchanged worried glances between each other before slowing their pace slightly to give the Alpha male some room.
Dakawa bowed his head for a few moments when he noticed that the Alpha female had slowed down to let him catch up. Pricking his ears foreward, he approached the wolf group and wagged his tail slowly. "Thanks," he whispered under his breath, a little sad that his siblings and parents didn't want to come with him.

Hiei rose his head proudly and gave Eric a low growl. If Raven didn't like him then the black wolf would make sure that she didn't have to deal with him. They were in the same pack though... He could at least set the boundaries. This was HIS female.
"Dakawa! Dakawa!" Came a unnaturally hyper shout. "Dakawaaaa wait up for me or I'm tellin' mom!" A yellow and black wolf barked and yipped trying to catch up to her brother.

Elric snarled back at Hiei, not liking the warnings he was getting. Sure he was big in comparison to some of the others but he had never gone against his alpha's orders. Elric only listened to to his alphas, otherwise he left the others alone. He had little intention of anything else other than to witness the event and be a bodyguard.
Phoenix bowed to Dakawa and paused so the young female could catch up. She lifted her head and howled, calling for the rest of the pack that was to join them. So far, she knew of no pups that were comming. Any in the pack were left with babysitters.
Gregori continued to travel with his daughter, stopping only to listen in for others and their howls, following his nose.
Sable kept pace with her father, her ears back as she watched him track their destination down.
Lucifur growled as he tracked Lilith down who was well ahead of him and well on her way to the event. Like hell was she going to allow the pushy male to have his way around her.
Jareth was loaping to cross the ground, his feet hardly touching the earth as he moved, black fur rippling over his muscles.
Skyling chased after him, watching the way he moved and following.

Aren returned the respectful gestures and gave encouraging smiles to all. " I know some of you are confused so I am glad you have all swiftly gathered here. The voice you heard calling to us is that of the Guardian, He is an elder wolf more powerfull than an seer or shaman, he guards the sacred valley and the lake within it. These places can only be found once every few generations." He paused here to let the gravity of the moment sink in ." Soon we will be traveling towards the valley, about halfway there we will meet up with the other packs. No one will fight though there will be disagreements. This will also be a time in which it is permitted for you to join a new pack or mate with someone from another pack if you are so inclined. this is a very special time."
His nose picked up the approaching sent of asyr, soon his mate would be joining them and they could leave. " Are there any questions?"

Raevyn gazed at her mother with a very confused expression, Flash only smiled before whispering "You'll see." Locke shook his head, as well as did Rakar. "No..No questions." Riau answered as he sat. The waited quietly for the time to leave.
Glace laid on the ground. He had no idea how much farther the den would be, he sighed lying his head on his paws letting out a deep sigh. It was hopeless, he wouldn't make it in time and his feet were killing him. A sudden Noise caught his attention as he forced himself to stand seeing a light beige and grey colored female with her mate. Chenoa smiled down at the small pup. "Going to the festival, young one?" He nodded slightly not knowing really what to say. Chenoa whispered softly in his ear picking him up by the scruff of the neck as they walked. Glace smiled, they were making faster time and he was going to make it.

[Barren post on hold, waiting on Starreh to post her wolf joining the journey to the Valley]
Arisella listened to the Alpha male's words carefully, taking in all of the information he had said to the group of wolves that would be accompaning both him and his mate on the journey. THe part about mating to different wolves from the other packs made her a little uneasy, but that would have to wait. She wouldn't be old enough to mate for a while since she had just grown to adolescent-hood a few months ago. She shook her head slightly at the question the Alpha male had asked and he looked at the other wolves nervously.
Dakawa winced as he heard the familiar voice of his sister. He stopped in his tracks and looked back to see his sister running towards him. Putting a smile on his maw, he nodded his head at his sister and sighed slightly. This journey was looking to become a very long one. He glanced back to see the Alpha female bowing to him. That surprised him slightly, but he kept the surprised expression behind a calm mask.

"Song Festival?" Myth frowned as he juggled the thought in his mind. He noticed that the others were beginning to travel on and so he followed in step behind them, wincing at the growling he heard coming from the two males. Being that he was such a docile male, he moved away from them and nodded a greeting at Raven from afar; remembering that she had been the female that had greeted him when he was just a puppy.
"What a strange pack." He said aloud, rolling his eyes.
Fenris' ears twitched and he shook his head, continuing onward, sensing that a pack was soon approaching him.
"So is the barren's on the move? Then it must be true.... interesting, truly interesting. I wonder how this is going to play out." Fenris muttered to himself before trotting off in the direction where he sensed the barren's pack.

Ravne spotted Myth's nod and she nodded back at him. She hadn't chosen him as a mate because she had already set her sights on one of Tsume's offspring before Hiei came into the pack. Since then, she had been a friend towards Myth. She hoped that the younger female, Zelda, or maybe her sister, Siyavash, might take Myth as a mate. Only time would tell with the Song Festival nearing.
Tsume lifted his head up high as he caught the scent of an unknown wolf on the edge of the packlands. Flicking an ear, he gazed back at Shikon and Zelda to find that they had widened the gap between themselves and the Alpha. Shaking his head, he kept on the path he wanted the pack to go on, hoping he might bump into the lone wolf and invite him to join the group.

Fenris increased his pace from a slow trot to a full out run as the scent grew stronger. Contact with anyone other than the hills and rock was what the young shaman had been hoping for, for quite sometime.
"I may as well journey alongside my fellow brothers than alone." He muttered to himself as he closed his eyes, letting his legs carry him and his nose guide him towards his destination. Running as fast as he was, he knew he'd reach the barren's pack and their respectful alpha in no time and was confirmed on this as he heard voices. He paused suddenly and opened his eyes, smiling to himself at the sight of the small pack of wolves conversing together and traveling onward towards the festival.
"Many greetings Barrens Pack..." Fenris spoke in a gentle voice and nodded his head as if to wave hello to them.
Truly it was strange to see Raven, a figure from his puppyhood that seemed so gentle, with what seemed like an overbearing male but as he had said, this was one weird pack to him. The way love worked, he'd never know and as he had no one to teach him anything, he had no idea how to court a female anyways. He sighed and continued walking lightly, looking around at his pack members, many of which he hadn't met yet. Myth was probably truly a stranger to many of them.

Hiei snorted at Elric showed his teeth but otherwise calmed down. If the male wanted to fight they would fight. As if to show his claim on Raven, he dipped his muzzle into the fur of her neck and nuzzled it lovingly. his eyes went to Myth but showed little caring that he was there.
As long as he didn't make passes at Raven, he didn't care.
Ashley barked in joy and skidded to a stop, panting. "Hey brother! I caught up with you!" She boasted puffing out her black and blond chest. "I was lookin' for ya cause Daddy said that I should keep you safe!"
Truthfully her dad had said to bring him back but her mind was too excited to remember exactly what she'd been told. An adventure awaited! "Can I come with you guys?" Her tail kicked up dust behind her as it wagged.

Elric's eyes rolled heavenward as he pushed foreward to follow Tsume. If a fight broke out, it wasn't because he started it. Elric had no interest in the women here, or anywhere really.
Phoenix yipped to Ashley to keep up as the pace picked up.

Tsume spotted the lone wolf before any of the other wolve in his pack did. He flicked an ear slightly as he trotted forward to greet the young shaman. He bowed his head slightly after getting as close as a few feet, respecting the wolf's position. "Greetings to you, wise one. Would you like to join my pack? I believe we are heading towards the same place." He gazed back to see if any of his pack would disagree to his decision.
Raven smirked slightly as she felt Hiei's muzzle bury into her neck. She half-closed her eyes, completely forgetting that Elric was nearby. She didn't really care what Elric did just as long as he didn't get in a fight with her future mate.
Shikon gazed at the shaman curiously, Zelda next to him shuffling her paws. "Do you think this is right?" the femme asked the heir curiously, a hint of anxiousness in her voice. The male nodded his head slightly as he turned his gaze towards his father. "He makes all the decisions here. If he wants the shaman to join us we have no say in it." He nodded his head and looked at Zelda curiously to see a shocked look on her face. "It's alright. He knows what is best for us. Maybe we can learn some of his secrets if we travel close enough to him." Zelda nodded her head and waited for the shaman to give his reply to Tsume's request.
Dakawa sighed loudly. Of course Father would send one of his siblings with him to make sure he didn't get in trouble or in any sticky situations that involved him getting hurt. Hearing the Alpha's yip, he nudged his sister gently and started to follow the pack at a steady pace, wondering what kind of adventure they were about to go on.

Hiei seemed proud of himself that he'd sent off a male and eyed the new one that had approached. A shaman? That did sound interesting indeed. He wondered if he should pose his question to Raven. Was it too soon for her to consider such a thing? "Raven..." He asked a question lingering in his voice.
Ashley bounced forward at the nudge and started to keep up. "Where ya think we're going, brother? Do you think there will be food there? How many wolves are going? Do you think--" The questions went on and on and on. It was as if she was a fountain of questions who never paid any attention to the answers. Their father was going to be LIVID.
