I can never remember who said it, but this is one I have always loved.
"Whenever I get a little money, I buy books. Whatever is left goes to food and clothes."
I hope I got it right.

There is no such thing as a moral or immoral book. Books are well-written, or badly written. That is all. ~ Oscar Wilde

Never force yourself to read a book that you do not enjoy. There are so many good books in the world that it is foolish to waste time on one that does not give you pleasure.

I like that one. 3nodding This is a long quote from a book from another book. It's on page 45, start of chapter 5 in the book 'Inkheart.' I love this quote. For him that stealeth, or borroweth and returneth not, this book from its owner, let it change into a serpent in his hand and rend him. Let him be struck with palsy, and all his members blasted. Let him languish in pain, crying aloud for mercy, and let there be no surcease ti this agony till he sing in dissolution. Let bookworms gnaw his entrails...and when at last he goeth to his punishment, let the flames of hell consume him for ever.'Curse on book thieves', from the monastery of San Pedro, Barcelona, Spain. And my own quote..."So many books, so little time, money, and space."

"It's a book; they tend to have a lot of words."
From Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I don't know, I just loved that line.

Battousai-nii Cinema-Strange "And herein is exemplified the advantage which the love of books has over the other kinds of love. Women are by nature fickle, and so are men; their friendships are liable to dissipation at the merest provocation or the slightest pretext. Not so, however, with books, for books cannot change. A thousand years hence they are what you find them to-day, speaking the same words, holding forth the same cheer, the same promise, the same comfort; always constant, laughing with those who laugh and weeping with those who weep." Yay for google. http://www.worldwideschool.org/library/books/lit/shortstories/TheLoveAffairsofaBibliomaniac/chap1.html I like it! Battousai-nii-Sama I wasn't expectiing you to be in the Guild... xd

Augustine Birrell An ordinary man can surround himself with two thousand books and thenceforward have at least one place in the world in which it is possible to be happy. God, I love this simply because it is true and...kinda depressing. stare
