I've become addicted to Death Note, it's an awesome series. Own every English volume so far, watching the anime on youtube (sorry, have to admit, the manga's better). Can't wait to see if the movie will be released in English.
Light's probably my favorite character..I found L creepy o.O

[Gankaku] I've become addicted to Death Note, it's an awesome series. Own every English volume so far, watching the anime on youtube (sorry, have to admit, the manga's better). Can't wait to see if the movie will be released in English. Light's probably my favorite character..I found L creepy o.O Raito is waaaay creepier.... I can't wait for the movie either!!! whee It was more popular than the Da Vinci Code over there! And kids liked it so much, they began having Death Note's in school and almost got the movie BANNED! Now that tells you how great it is! biggrin

omg i love death note!! ( you know you could go on google videos to watch the movie subbed) *coff* i mean no piloted vidoes gonk lol
i have read like to 10 or 11 {idR} and i have watched like 22 of the ep..i was grounded tryign to cath up though!

I have to admit, when my friend made me watch the first episode, I was not impressed. However, a couple weeks later, my other friend told me she's bought a few of the manga...I scoffed. Week after that I moved in with her, and the first thing I did after getting my stuff in was sit down with volume one....and I was hooked sweatdrop I've read up to volume 9 (because thats as many as my friend has), and am constantly bugging her to get more now.
Light is complete disturbing. He's just...*shudder* L is creepy, but I find him utterly adorable as well...He's so awesome. sad I misses him, but even though I don't like the new characters so much, the story is still very compelling...

I love Death Note. However, just like many other anime, I prefer the manga over it. ^^;
