Star Wars is pretty cool. Only if it's the old movies, though. None of this new trilogy s**t.
...And I've got to admit, I love SW, but Star Trek: the Next Generation is my geeky true love. sweatdrop

Did you know the first queen was only a robot controlled by the CIA in order to obtain secret info about the movies. Its true, I got to help with the first prototype.

Episode 4-7 are my Favorite, the original and best (Mark Hammil+ Harison Ford FTW!). One was okay. Jar-Jar didn't annoy me nearly as much as he did other people and the droid armies vs Gungan battle was pretty damn cool. Two was the love movie. I liked when they were chasing people through Coruscant (that's the only part that comes to mind).
Three, I can easily say, had the best Lightsaber fights out of all six. If they had just picked a better actor for Anakin the movie would have been vundabar. Euwan (sp?) McGregor was an excellent Obi Wan, but it felt like George Lucas picked the actor for Anakin more for his looks then his acting ability. Then again he got lit on fire in the end so maybe he didn't want people to like him too much.
But I think the true, and best legacy of Star Wars is all of the off-shoots. Lucas created a vivid and breathing Sci-Fi universe and introduced us to a basic, but great idea (Lazer Swords? LOL). Knights of the Old Republic was one of the best stories I had played in a video game, Jedi Knight is an excellent series full of action and Jedi-Tomfoolery. Lucas may have gotten sloppy with his final "masterpieces" but he has laid so many ideas on the table for young, talented storytellers that I can look past it.

Reko What does the government do with this information, I wonder. Some of the high up people are big fans. Also, they like to make sure George Lucas keeps in line, if you know what I mean.

Loki the Stampede Not me, I'm the kinda ADHD, where I can listen to the same song, for a month strait, and not get board of it! And yet you manage to forget so much...not to mention that when an explosion is heard and you can't here anything means the mine we layed at the top of the ladder went off and that somebody is coming our way to kill us...Then again I forgot that to...Seriously, how did you, me and Weird manage to forget that trap?

Psiko, I pretty much agree with all your points on the movies, but I never got into anything beyond that. I'm not an expanded universe fan, which is a damn shame. I should probably read the books--I hear there's some excellent writing.

There is!!!! Timothy Zahn is a good writer, but once the series about the Yu-Yuuzhan Vong starts...well, it goes downhill in my opinion.
