[[ Helios ]] We're playing: A Lincoln Portrait The January February March Chester The Cowboy (that was John William's 1st movie score) And a piece that has a retarded name. All you need to know is its a trumpet piece with the band accompanying. LP is moderately hard to hard due to the narration. JFM is medium to moderately hard. Chester is very hard. Cowboy is very very hard (it's a direct string transcription-- a b***h for clarinets, esp bass clarinet) Trumpet solo is moderately hard to hard. Cowboys!
Somehow, they think that in a full band arrangement, the bass clarinets should get not only the viola parts, but the harp part, too.

My band just got done going to a music festival and now we're getting ready to do another in march. gonk
The songs we played were Suite Francaise and Joy from the Awakening.
The songs we're working on now are Black is the color of my True love's hair and Incantation and Dance.

Flutietoot01 jazz has comp. thats all i know- we doin malaguena i think concert. we have a concert next week

My BD said that our band was so bad that we aren't going to contest.Last year we went and got straight 3's.

Jewlz2007 So far, we think we are playing "Festivity", "Old Comrades" and.."Salvation is created"...We think. Our BD is really bad about changing his mind though. Yep, those are definitly the pieces we are playing, and we go in less than a week! I like the songs we have.

Our band dosen't do contests...don't ask why.
Anyway, these are the songs we have so far:
The Typewriter
American Civil War Fantasy
Stars and Stripes Forever
Superman(It's a medley. We got it today.)
We had to try out on Stars and Stripes. I got last chair. X.X

ZOMG SO!!
This weekend I have a festival.
It's at UNLV at 11:00
Why I tell you, I don't know.
It's very nice.
Oh yes.
We are doing three pieces.
October, Goddess of Fire, and March Grandioso.
I hate the march...it's so lame.
I did it back in sophomore year.
Lameness.
We got a 1 on it back then, we're getting a 2 most likely.
I hate this band sometimes.
If they would fricken PRACTICE!!

our band is going to Maryland next week for music in the parks! YAY

Right now we have Finale for a Winter Restival, Russian Christmas Music, Sleigh Ride, Irwin Berlin's America and as a warm-up we use Salvation is Created.
We're playing Halo 3 for our recruitment tour to the middle schools and Exaltante and Rush are on two peices for our Spring Concert ( Both Sam Hazo ^^ wink
