Background Info: Born in a time of suffering, her people being massacred on a genocidal scale, Sinone was raised by the heated fanned flames of hatred and agonizing pain. At an early age she was recruited into a small local resistance guerilla faction in a desperate fight for sovereignty and defense against the relentless attacks of the ruling monarchist government. An almighty king ruled these unknown regions, possessing an insatiable lust for power, and selling his own soul to demons for an even greater taste of such supremacy, providing him with an army of evil supernatural beasts of unknown origins. With a military as great as the monarchy had created, they attacked mercilessly and swiftly, pillaging and massacring settlements that refused to give their obedience to the Lord Demon King. With every passing dawn, dozens, if not hundreds, of lives were claimed every passing dawn; fueling the ravenous hunger that drove these troops and their king. Years passed, and Sinone’s campaigns against the ruler were faring successfully, earning her a bit of a reputation as a brilliant tactician and respectable warrior for the people. However, in every victorious battle Sinone took part in, the demon possessed king took notice of her acts and wanted her even more desperately, placing a forged “want notice” for the crimes of murder of his majesty’s troops and treason, and promising great rewards to whoever bought her in. She evaded his clutches for a small matter of time, before humankind’s own desires for greed got the better of them. One bitter hazy winter morning, an ambush was laid, and an act of betrayal was committed by her people, their deal: Sinone for a place in the monarchist’s circle of power, hoping he could provide absolute protection and an end against these needless bloodbaths instigate by his own soldiers, his own orders…
She watched helplessly as her closest friends and unit members were slaughtered pitilessly that day, and as her village was ransacked and burnt to black ash, familiar faces of corpses littering the blood stained, snow covered streets. Sinone was straightforwardly overpowered and beaten down, then taken away to a “high security prison” sanctioned by the king himself, to be tortured and eventually terminated when she could withstand no more. Three years passed, and still she fought the endless array of torture methods and interrogations, refusing to succumb to the demon lords wishes, and eventually taking part in a daring escape with another small group of four other rebels.
To this day she wanders the world alone and nearly forgotten by time, exiled eternally from her homelands, and her soul and body wholly scarred and broken by the monstrous acts of that one fateful day...and now she seeks only one final judgment: unforgiving justice for all the immoral and corrupt souls or creatures that plague these lands...

(Holy crap that's amazing. It also works almost perfectly with the book I'm writing and put in Ravaged, and therefore my profile, for Kamiss overthrows a Demon King. Only he was always a demon. Who cares that's a great profile story.)

When the baby was delivered, the supersticious family was frightened by her pale skin and strangely white hair, detecting her strange energies immediatly. Taking the child to another town further away, they left her on the steps of a human church. Amara was raised by the priest ironically, untill she was the age of fourteen. One night as she was sweeping the steps of the church before she went to bed, when a strange man came to her. It was the demon, her father, in the disguise of a human. He told her of her true past and what she was. Realizing that what the priest told her all her life was a lie, (he told her she was meant to come to his church, a sign from god), she went crazy, her demonic half showing for the first time. Amara went on a spree, killing the entire town, even the priest, though her father still got away. Amara blocked out her past, and now she is a wanderer, doing odd jobs here and there, searching for a purpose or an answer to her existance. (How is that? I can edit it if desired.) (Also really, really great, by the way. Nice twist with the priest.)

Kamiss approached the girl. "Don't stab me with that." He joked. "Isn't a little cold to be on the beach?" He looked overhead. Dark clouds were gathering, but it had been a sunny--but not necessarily warm--day until then.

(SkyAssasin, please NEVER use the word "gay" as an insult here. I am strongly and personally insulted by it, as many of my best friends are gay. It really bothers me. If I see it again, there'll be consequences. With Kamiss' permission, of course, if he'll give it.)
