Omg. That was an effing good comeback.
Some music isn't just meant for EVERYONE. Billie Joe and Green Day, I think, their music is usually based upon on how they feel. They don't care how it screws up people's minds, their lyrics are expressing their feelings and thoughts, and that's what music is.

My best friend showed me that a few months ago. It amuses me so xd And I was going bonkers trying to figure out what song those lyrics go to- we both finally figured out it was Reject. It must rock to be that chick's son- I wonder if he ever realized Billie Joe wrote a song about her...

Its true. Their music is not random stuff its like their feelings/moods when they are writing it. Like for example Brain Stew was written when his son would keep him up all night hence the lyric line "I am having trouble trying to sleep"

I seen that long ago. But Billie is absolutely right on everythign he says there. It also amuses me how he can turn in into a song 3 years later.

i remember reading that, it is so great, Billie's writting just makes me melt. Look at all the slopyness, it's so delicious

billies response is funny the ps rules. hehe but it's os sad they wrote a letter to him it's like i hate some music but i don't write letters to the people cus i think it sucks. so lame
