Rktikfox She wrote it Hallelujah erm, ther eis one thing about them that i was not sure about. (bare wiht me, i havn't played FF7 fora good few years now) towards teh beggin of the game after fighting RENO i think it is, you fight another one and he says something like "oh stop by and see RENO, he has a new weapon for you" what is this weapon. the only thing i cna think of is it's "dark clod" really sorry for SP and names but can't help not playing the game fora while you don't actually fight anyone, but you run into Rude, elena and Tseng in the Mythril Mines. I'm not sure what Reno's weapon is...maybe a new attack he uses in the Gongaga fight or something *shrug* I get the feeling ther is something more to that or they wouldn't have mentioned it, maybe something that was taken out of the USA/UK version of the game??

Avatar of Retribution If you like the Turks then they have their own game. Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis, but it's kinda..... on a cell phone..... and only in Japan. *sigh* All the good stuff is in Japan.

New Question: What does everyone think of the Advent Children&BC versions of the Turks compared to the original designs?
I think the main problem point is the new Reno designs (Rude looks just as I beleived he would, but he's not the type to be altered dramatically) because he was so damn unreadable to begin with. plus, for about 7 years, all we had was that damn 'Rufus and Turks' picture. in my opinion, Reno looks too damn healthy in AC.
The BC design is pretty acceptable, but Reno doesn't seem to age that much over a seven or eight year period of time. he just need to look a little older/worn out in AC or something.
Throw in your opinions and back them up!

As far as AC goes, I thought they looked the part. though I thought it was strange that reno didn't have the scars across his cheeks. Though, it it explained that they were suppose to be shadowing to show how thin he is. Interesting. I was hopeing they would add the sars because, I don't know about you, but I have read wonderful fanfics about how reno got thoes scars and I myself like to think of how he got thoes as well. To me, it does look much more like scars then shadowing.....parhaps they thought of it as scars and changed it for some strange reason?

I also agree that reno looks to damn healthy..... the thing is, reno would have been just as gaunt as he was in ff7. there is one main reason why: look at his speech. you only know that he was working at shinra for a good long time because of the way he speaks. Reno is (at least I think he is) from the slums. Have you ever seen someone from the slum speak in that manner? no, Reno had already been whipped into proper shape. and why would he change his eating habits or anything just because it was almost the end of the world? The man lives on booze and cigeretts.....he should be....arg, he shouldn't have been so damn healthy!! And also, because of his job, you would think he would be much more worn out. Killin men all day really takes it outta you. that's why reno likes to drink so damn much... *sighs* I shall shut up now..

I share the common beleif that he was born in the slums and fought his way to the top, but there is one seriously well written fanfic where he is actually from Cosmo Canyon and was a bit of a rival to Nanaki. The theory sounds strange, but it was written well enough to make complete sense. Reno seems like the type to get drunk and mistakingly eat cigarette butts on a regular occasion despite his professional front. Any Turk would find solace in alcohol-but he seems like the type to over-do it. He should be unhealthier, yes! Poor Reno whee
