It wasn't every day that her scientest friend called, more like begged, Tara to use her skills. Magic was more something Nikiana watched from afar. So Tara had packed her things, got Aysel, and booked it over to her friend's house. While Aysel went to play outside with the other girls, the two woman talked for a while. A simple spell, if energy consuming. Three new rooms, added to the house. After prepping, the mage started into a trance, ready to weave the strands reality.
Tara breathed deep, grounding herself. Earlier, the woman had memorized the verbal and physical components of the spell. Fully tuned to her work Tara began chanting the verbal triggers of the spell. "Erijte Riuhga Djaoi Oire Gha Skdg". The chalk suddenly began to glow, tracing patterns, first on flat walls then deeper into new spaces. Rooms began to take shape, mesh then skin. Furniture grew and window's opened up.
Spirits waited for Tara to finish her task. The adding of rooms onto the house was beneficial to the care of twin gods that Nikiana was guarding. So they allowed her to finish. But as soon as she finished they began to pull on the threads of her reality. Tara would soon be dead by whatever cause was easiest in the area. They tugged hard, eventually ensuing in her death. Luckily no one was around to witness this. The spirits would soon be able to set to work.
: It was nearing the end of the spell when trouble started. The crystals, which had been glowing the same color, began to flicker and die. One by one the winked out. Then Tara began to waver. Locked into the spell as she was the mage barely noticed anything. Eventually the spell drained even her constant illusion of it's strength. Like the crystals, it too flickered and died. Stealing the last bit of energy it found, the spell finally ran it's course, completely setting up the rooms.
Blue-grey skinned, nearly glowing green eyes, pointed ears. Yup, the illusion of humanity was gone. But unlike the other times Tara removed her locket, the spell was completely gone. As the mage came out of her trance, she went to take a deep breath. And choked. Gasping Tara stumbled backwards, clutching her throat. Her body was never designed to breath oxygen, and without the power to convince it that it breathed oxygen, time caught up. Normally it would take minutes for someone to suffocate, but with the backlog against her, it took only seconds. Another gasp.. and she was dead.
The spirits began their work immediately. Pulling Tara's body and soul to the spirit realm, separating them, repairing the damage done to her body and the spells. It was hefty work but they were used to it. Then the teams came in.
The "physical" team put her on the Tison space ship-the Samadueanna-with a magic gold chain around her neck where the relics would go. They also sent her information to Rouge Remika on board the ship so she could have them set a course for Niki's house to return Tara later. Also the blonde was allowed to go find the room where Tara now slept-soulless for the moment.
Meanwhile the "bonding" team carried the woman's soul to the realm of the deceased gods' souls. This was to allow the soul of the guardian to bond with the soul of the god that would be reborn and allow them to bring that soul out of the realm of the dead when the guardian's soul returned to it's body. Currently only one soul latched onto Tara-which was lucky because on rare occasions like with Niki two would latch on-and the relic that corrosponded with it appeared on her chain.
And with the bonding process complete Tara was sent back to her body where she would be able to wake up
: The mage expected something. Pain, joy.. Fluffy white clouds.. Not the strange ceiling and the fleeting impression that she was forgetting somthing important. Certainly not the lingering headache and exhaustion. Sitting up slowly green eyes blinked at the room around her. Not home, not Niki's.. Had the other woman panicked and called D-Corp? They had after all aparently returned their boss from death. And she was fairly certain that whatever had happened was not something she should have survived.
Slowly, ever so slowly, Tara began to move checking to make sure everything was working. Only then did she turn to the stranger in the room. A tech perhaps? An angel? Though this was the oddest version of heaven Tara had ever heard of. "Excuse me," the mage stated, sliding out of bed, "Where am I?"
"You are on the Samadueanna. It's a spaceship from a realm called Tison. The ship is now heading towards Nikiana's house to drop you back off. I have to explain some very important things to you." the blonde said sitting down on a chair at the end of the bed. Niki had become a guardian as well so she'd understand what was happening when Tara got dropped off. Which was good because very few people knew what was going to happen. "you are going to be a mom...again."
: Tara froze for a moment, trying to process. Spaceship. Alternate realm. That was close enough to being dead, somehow... (She really wasn't going to question that logic to carefully). The rest... The rest was an entirely different thing. "I'm sorry," the mage finally managed focusing on the most improbable item of the woman's introduction, "I thought I heard you say I was going to be a mom... Again." Unless they were into really cheesy scientific experiments of course.
"That's because I did. You were by some strange means chosen-like your friend Niki-to be the guardian of a god from another realm. I haven't got a bloody clue what god you'll be guarding but I do know how long it will aproximately take for that little thing hanging around your neck to become a baby. And that may take some preparation." Rouge was getting pretty sick of explaining this stuff again so her explanations were straightforward. She was just going to answer questions
: Having the shock confirmed, and hence made real, took away some of the numbness. Reaching up, the woman slid her hand around her neck, feeling the weight of something she certainly had never put there. Shock, terror, anger, and a tinge of sorrow danced across Tara's face in an instant. Her hand dropped as the mage smoothed her face out, some decision having been reached.
Tara sat down on the bed, folded her hands, and spoke. "No. I barely have a stable home for Aysel as it is. I could be recalled at any time, and it simply won't work. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to do this. You need to find someone else." Why she had to take care of a god, what god, and what the hell it had to do with the new necklace was irrelevant. Reaching up, Tara tugged at the necklace with every intention of returning it. When simply pulling didn't remove the item, she began to search for a clasp.
There was no clasp to be found on the necklace. It was a magic item and made specifically so it could never be removed by the wearer. "I'm afraid you don't have a choice in this. If the guardians had a choice in this matter I wouldn't be one. You were chosen by a higher power and the soul of the god is already bonded with yours at this point. I can't help you be rid of it." the woman told her. "However if there are monitary and babysitting issues you have, those can be arranged to be taken care of. As for the rest of it, I'm afraid it's out of my hands." Rouge said throwing up her hands as if in surrender. And suddenly the doors opened. A redheaded woman entered. Her hair was held up in a pontytail atop her head and she had pale skin and a green dress. In her arms were two childen. A small green skinned girl with big golden eyes and green hair and a small tanned black haired boy with an upturned nose. "You're back on duty. Steve is taking me out and Karyn can't watch them." the woman said with a slight accent, handing Rouge the two children. The girl seemed to be sleeping the boy was giggling and waving at Tara. Both were blatantly adoreable
Her hands tightened around the necklace, imprinting it on her hands, before Tara dropped them back to her lap. ".... Fudge monkeys," the woman muttered, aparantley cursing. She stared at the floor for long minutes, turning it over in her head. Though it wouldn't stop her from trying, once she got home and rested, once more to remove the stubborn thing it was rather painfully clear that Tara simply had to accept it for now. Her stomach tried to turn inside out at that realization, and a grimace flashed on the woman's face.
Before she could speak a girl came in, carrying two small children. While the cute girl was asleep, the boy was wide awake. Twitching a smile, Tara waved back at the boy, holding out her arms for a hug instinctively. Somehow, little kids just managed to turn the Neptunian into a pile of utter goo. Soothed, much like music sooths the beast, Tara shook her head slightly thinking about the issue for the first time.
"....I see. No, I don't require monitary assitance. However.. I'm..not native to Gaia." Understatement of the year. "If my job requires me to return home..." Other than the shock to her parents and siblings, humans couldn't withstand the climate of her home planet. "I would not want to test his survival abilities. Would your offer of babysitting cover this possibility?" It was something that Tara wanted clear from the start.. *if* she agreed and couldn't find a way to get a better parent for the godling.
"I understand. Information on you was sent to me. Should you have to return home your children can be cared for I assure you. The child may be a bit upset for a while as their soul is permanently bonded with yours, things should be fine." Rouge said, holding the girl and carrying over the boy so he could hug Tara.
"That one is my reborn god. His name is Diyaka and he-when he grows- will be the god of fire. This little one is Feejhu and she is going to be the goddess of life when she grows. She's my friend whom you just saw's charge." Rouge was rather proud of the adorable children. They were so cute and loving that you couldn't hate having them when they were there.
: That...was really bad actually. She swallowed carefully, deliberately engrossing herself in the adorable children in front of her. First D-Corp... Now this? The information leak was going to have to stop. Belatedly, Tara nodded in response to the woman's statement.
"Hello Diyaka," Tara said a real smile blooming on her face. Reaching out with her hand, she tugged lightly on his nose. Pulling her hand back, she gasped. "I got your nose!" the woman exclaimed, showing him her thumb tucked between two fingers. It was a game her babysitter had played with her all the time when she was little. Glancing at the blond haired woman, Tara nodded. "I guess I don't have much choice then...... Niki's going find this hilarious..."
The baby giggled and tried to reach for his nose. His "mama" did that a lot too! He loved this game!
Rouge smiled. "Niki may. But you can laugh at her. She got stuck with twins and you did not. Now if you wouldn't mind showing me your relic I can try to determine what your god or goddess will have power over." the woman told her with a grin
Before Diyaka could reach her hand, Tara moved it back to his face and with plop put his 'nose' back on. With an shrug she showed him her empty hand. "Oh I intend to use that." Tara replied with some heat. Twisting the chain around, Tara reached for the relic as the woman called it. Showing it to her, the mage studied it. "I hope you have some idea what it stands for.." she said, completely blank.
Rouge looked at it. "That is a very obscure relic. Were it not for the fact that I happen to play a game called guild wars I wouldn't have a bloody clue either. In guild wars the deity of illusion is the twin goddess Lyssa and I think that was what they were trying to make your relic look like. Oracle probably did a search on her pool for a relic to stand for illusion. You'll have the Tison deity of illusion all right." she laughed.
Dia meanwhile reached up and tried to do the got your nose thing with Tara's nose. Closest he got was to honk her nose lightly. He was cute and so it was all right. She wasn't hurt anyway.
"Illusion....? Interesting." A mage who lived constantly shrouded by an illusion taking care of a God of Illusion. It could have been chance, but the deeper one delved into magic, the more connections one found between things. A great big web indeed. Tara's eyes widened when Dia reached up, to steal her nose. With a sudden start at the honk, Tara began frantically patting her face. "Oh no!" she mock cried, focusing on the child once more, "My nose is gone! Where'd it go?"
Dia giggled and showed her his fist. He had least managed to get his thumb between two of his fingers.Course they were the wrong ones but he was learning. And he was having quite a fun time. The baby was definately a snuggly little thing. He'd be quite quite cute when he was older.
After a while of playing with the baby Rouge smiled. "Well we should have reached Niki's home by now. We'll drop you off." she said with a smile, leading the woman out. She left Tara carry Dia till they got to the transporter room where she took him back. "Here is my number. Call me should you ever need me. You may have a baby in about two days time. There is a suitcase full of bills by the transporter. Take that with you and get ready for hte kid." she said in a slightly business tone. Dia waved happily at the woman.
And with that another guardian had recieved their charge.
Tara shook her head at the bills, before glancing with some trepidition at the transporter. Pocketing the card Tara nodded. "Allright." Thank goodness Tara had actually gotten a phone. This would go onto the speed dial... If she could figure it out. Waving to Dia, and a slight bow to Rouge, the woman stepped in to the transporter.. and back to Nikiana's.

Dear, Leia
Merry Christmas! I wish I was there with everyone. You should have gotten your presents by now. I hope you enjoyed them. They were just random knick-knacks I found around Gaia this year. Except for Mathew. He got a map..again. You'd think he'd be more careful with something that tells him where he is and where he's going. I still can't believe he managed to lose it.
Aysel and I spent her first Christmas together. She was so excited, I don't think there's a peice of wrapping paper left thats larger than my thumbnail. I wasn't sure she'd like what I got her but she seems happy with them.
Aysel herself got me this ornament, which hatched on New Years to reveal a tiny dragon. It's really cute, but a complete pain in the neck. It's not house trained yet and gets into everything.
In other news, have you ever heard of a dimension who's dieties are dying out? If I recall it sounded something like Tejohn, or beenahon. I know it's not much to go on but if you could please, please, please check it out. See if anyone has any records of this place. I haven't been able to find any information of it in this dimension so I assume...
Oh... And you might want to sit down. Or go get Peco. Either one works. Peco would probably be best seeing as this might concern him.
Gaia is a place rich for new dieties to move in. Apparently it's even become a place for dead dieties (how they die I don't know) to grow up. I have been 'choosen' to take care of one of these dieties.
All I know is that I've been killed (sort of) and now I have this blasted tacky chain around my neck that won't come off. Attached to it is some sort of relic thing. Have you head of Guild Wars? I haven't and the relic doesn't match anything in my research books. It's apparently connected to the god of Illusions from that place. Who will become an infant depending on me to take care of it.
I've tried to remove the relic, but it's definately held on by a holy power. Which even I can't do anything about unless certain conditions are met. And I sincerely doubt a relic could meet those conditions. The only thing I'm worried about is if it conflicts with Peco's claim on me. Or something...
I guess I have to go and actually get some baby toys. I still have some of Aysel's things but she was a toddler when I took her home. Well... I'll be back after shopping.
Love, .....Tara

In the morning Tara had to nearly drag Aysel away from her cousin. It was only with the promise of a shopping trip and a chance for Alaqua to come visit that the mage managed to head out. Fully recovered from the previous days exertions, the mage summoned their mode of transportation. A silverly bubble slowly formed a few inches above the ground. Slipping in, Aysel and Tara sped off towards a quick trip home and then the mall.
~~~*~~~
The great thing about using a spell to transport from one place to the other was not needing a parking space. It was just as well since the place was nearly jampacked with people hunting for after-Christmas sales and attempts to return gift items. The two started at the far end of the mall and began to work their way down the stores.
Peering into a jewelery store the luna moth quickly dragged her mother in behind her. Spread on the wall in front of her were earrings, bracelets, necklaces, all sorts of cute things. Excitedly she began trying them on.
A couple blue and green bangles, etched with gold, went first. "What do you think Mommy??" Aysel asked, twisting her arm this way and that to show them off. "Though I might need more for my other wrists..." Her mom just sort of nodded, in a daze already. Asyel went back to the wall, picking out more to go with the few already on her wrist. "Oh! Look!!!" Weaving between shelves, Aysel dragged her mom to the next display, barrets. These weren't tried on, merely placed in front of her hair to be checked in the mirror. Finally the luna moth had choosen her favorite accessories. With large salmon colored eyes, she pulled the cute act. "Please can I get them...? Please?"
With a sigh, more of tiredness than sap, Tara nodded. Summoning a wane smile she paid for the trinkets. Happily Aysel took her mom's hand and the two continued their shopping expedition.
Next up was the small ice cream parlor in the mall. Without even asking, Aysel's mom ordered two large sundaes. Becoming suspicous now with the generosity, the cacooned girl sat there quietly, alternating bites between each of the four arms. Quickly, so very quickly, the ice cream was finished and she still just sat there swinging her legs.
Tara sighed, not having taken more than a bite out her own sundae. "Aysel.. Yesterday... " Words failed the mage. How do you explain to your daughter that you died, came back to life, and now she was getting a little baby brother or sister? Not easily (and you seriously consider skipping the whole death part). "Yesterday, this necklace was forced on me. In..about a day, you'll be getting a baby brother or sister." Aysel's head shot up at that, though to her credit she didn't say a word. Tara sighed again. "I did not ask for this. Nor can I get out of this. We'll both have to make adjustments," the mage spoke quietly, reaching out towards Aysel.
Flinching back, the girl protested. "I don't want a brother or sister! I don't want any siblings and I don't want a baby!!" Tears began to well up in Aysel's eyes. Her mom slipped around the table, opening her arms for a hug. The word exploded as Aysel pushed herself away from the table with her lowers, bringing the upper pair of arms to sheild her. Slipping on the floor a little, the luna moth raced out of the ice cream shop.
"Aysel!" Tara tore off after her daughter.
~~~*~~~
Finally the woman caught up with Aysel, who sat sniffling in the corner of the bathroom. Gathering the luna moth up in her arms, Tara rocked her slightly. "I don't want a sibling.." the girl muttered into her mom's red blouse.
"I know sweetling... I know. I didn't want this either... But it's not going to dissapear." Tara smiled. "I know. I tried." A sticky snort/giggle escaped from the shirt. "Aysel... this baby is not going to steal me from you." Tara smoothed the girl's hair back, remember when her own baby sister was born. "He, or she, is going to take up a lot of my time..and your dragon is going to take up a lot of your time to. Or did you forget about that?" Tara teased gently.
A shake of the head was the negative. Slowly the sniffling began to slow. "You know.. I remember when my little sister was born. She was so little and my big brother and daddy were completely besotted with her. I was really upset for a while. But then I had to babysit her. And she was so cute. She grew up and now she's one of my best friends. It's going to be hard and weird for a while, but things will work out. And I'll love you just the same." Tara tilted Aysel's face up. "Feel better sweetling?"
"Not really.." the luna moth admitted quietly. Her mom squeezed her tightly and whispered conspiratorialy.
"Just think of all the shopping we get to do. You can even help me decorate the new room and pick out all the cute baby clothes. We'll even make a night out week, just the two of us. " Another sniffly laugh.
"...okay.... I guess..." Aysel said quietly, rubbing at her red runny nose. The girl accepted her hand up, and the wet wipe. Scrubbing gently at the runny paint, she clung to her mom's hand.
"Come on.. Let's go shopping," Tara said, trying to cajol a smile onto her daughter's face.

The two females worked several long hours getting the house ready for the new baby. First Tara created an extra room and bathroom, just off her own until the godling was old enough. Then came the hard part. The two began arranging and decorating the new room. True to her word, Tara let Aysel pick out the decorations, and dictate how the room would be arranged. The only surprise was the old crib that showed up with a little tag reading, "Dear Tara, Heard you were expecting, hope we can come visit sometime. Love, Mom and Dad" A bunch of little doodly hearts were scribbled under her dad's signature.
Despite the fact that she had been pushing heavy furniture all over the room, Tara had to laugh at it. By the time Aysel was satisfied with the room, the sun had set and her mom was about ready to fall over asleep. "There!" Aysel said, folding the last of the cute baby clothes and putting them in the in-set drawers. Stifiling a yawn, the mage turned to Aysel. "I'm going to take a nap before starting supper all right?" she dropped a kiss on Aysel's head, gently shooing her out of the room. Moving back to her own room the mage tumbled into bed.
It was that night that the baby was due so they were lucky that they'd arranged the room. With a strange dream the task of getting the child began. Tara felt as if her soul were leaving her body-the soul within the relic joining her in the form of its host around her neck-but when she looked down she could clearly see that she was still sleeping and fully alive. But she could also see an eerie door nearby. It was strange really. The fact that this door was there when it hadn't been before. And it was beckoning her towards it.
Tara was fairly certain Korin's room was on the opposite wall. After drifting a few feet towards the new door, the mage glanced back. Her body lay there peacefully, chest rising and falling in the deep even breaths of sleep. For a moment she stared, a bit wide-eyed. She had never had the talent for an OOB, and a glance at the relic on her neck made her suspect it was all the necklace's fault. After the pause she followed the lure of the door, quicking finishing the distance between her and it. Reaching out, she gently tried to open the door.
It gave the mage no resistance. To the contrary it opened up rather quickly and vanished behind her just as quickly after she entered. The room she was now in was somewhat more of a throne room. It was a giant black marble throne upon a flat pyramid of stairs that overlooked what was now a rather desolate wastleand of a place. The sky was a purplish hue of red and the land was barren. But at some point it may have been lovely. Before the throne was a black podeumn type thing with a crystal ball upon it from which the deity could broadcast their illusions. Sitting upon the throne was a young god with a strange headdress. They were wearing black for some reason also but it seemed different from the rest of the scene. As if this god were mourning someone. Their face was male but the clothes made it hard to tell the way they draped on the slim frame.
As in dreams, the sudden dissapearance of the door didn't frighten her, much as it probably should have. A figure dressed in black caught her gaze as it swung around the new room. The young man, if it was a man, just sat there. Unable to turn away, Tara moved closer, trying to get a better look, curiosity mixed with a sharp pang of sympathy.
Though he seemed to not be bleeding or breathing he didn't seem to be a rotted corpse. There was a mark through the front of his robes that looked almost as if he'd been stabbed there. The robes showed the mark but the body had almost healed of it but not really. A strange glow on the necklace drew Tara to the body as if it wanted her to touch the skin for even an instant.
Something about the dead god, made the woman want to apologize, but she simply didn't have the words. It almost hurt to see someone killed, even while he himself was in mourning. So preoccupied with the man on the throne, Tara never noticed the relic's glow, and only faintly did she acknowledge it's desires. Moving closer still Tara reached out, gently brushing the young god's face with the back of her hand.
That satisfied the need of the situation. Instantly the body and the relic began to glow-almost becoming made of light. The relic shot from her neck and into the shrinking light that had once been the young god. And left in it's wake was a young boy, a baby, curled up on the cold chair and looking up at her with wide innocent eyes.
Cringing her eyes shut against the sudden flare of light, Tara waited until the glow had died down before opening them again. Blinking away afterimages of the god, she stared at where the body had been. There was still a body on the chair, but it was considerably shorter and still breathing. He stared back at the mage with wide unblinking eyes. "Come on..." Tara whispered to the baby, lifting him out of the cold chair. "Let's go home," she finished saying.
At that the door reappeared and allowed the two to reenter their bodies and wake up again. The relic around her neck was gone as well as it's chain. Now there was a very very cute baby boy snuggled up to her. Time for Aysel to meet the baby.
With a start Tara realized she was back in her body, and by the warmth lying next to her, no longer alone. For a moment she considered getting up, but a large yawn broke that idea. Pulling the infant closer, Tara drifted back into a more normal sleep.

About half an hour later Tara awoke with a jerk. A warm body next to her fussed quietly, gurgling noises and small movements. Groaning the woman flopped onto her back, staring at the ceiling for a few moments. Finally Tara struggled off of the other side of the bed, before grabbing Korin. Settling him against her him and trying really hard not to giggle when the infants mouth tried to suckle her arm, the mage tried to sneak downstairs and into the kitchen.
It was rather well known that Tara was horrible at sneaking up with anyone but her twin (who was otherwise impossible to surprise). As she tried to creep by Aysel's room the luna moth opened the door. "Mommy?" Aysel blinked at her mom, eyes narrowing at the rather naked baby snuggling into her mom's arms.
Tara froze. "Aysel... Uh.. You have a brother...." The woman blurted out, too surprised to do anything else. The door slammed shut. With a sigh, Tara started to knock on her daughters door. A whimper stopped her mid air. Letting another sigh out Tara continued down to the kitchen.
Later, after feeding and burping her new son, Tara paused at her daughter's door. Knocking softly she ignored the, "Go away." Slipping into the room Tara shut the door softly. "Aysel.."
Flopping over on the bed the luna moth muttered, "I said go'way."
Tara sat down on the bed slowly, the springs creaking as she settled next her daughter. "Sweetling..." Tara began, "I'd like you to meet Korin.. Your little brother."
Reluctantly Aysel rolled over facing her mom and new brother. Grudgingly she waved at the toddler. Korin simply watched his big sister back. "... Whatever," the luna moth finally said, getting bored with the silence and Korin's lack of action.
Though it wasn't quite the warm acceptance Tara had been hoping for at least it wasn't outright hostility. "Ah.. Let's have some supper now, okay?" Aysel nodded and sullenly headed down stairs while Tara put Korin in his crib for a nap.

Dear Leia,
I've been absurdly busy the last few days. No more than two days after I 'died' and got the relic, then I fell asleep, woke up and -POOF- there was Korin. Yes, I've decided to call him after Great Grandpa. That and hopefully with certain dictates fulfilled fate will stop trying to stuff children down my throat.
Aysel's getting better at dealing with Korin, she bluntly refused to have anything to do with him for the first few weeks. Now she just absently forgets him. Hopefully she'll grow to accept him, if nothing else.
I know Dad will want to hear about Korin, so let me assuage his curiosity. Honestly, I'm not sure where to start. He's adorable, but quiet beyond all belief. I hardly know when to feed him as the most noise he'll make is this quiet fussing.
He doesn't seem to particuarly want to interact with anyone. For example, Korin, Aysel, and I went to the zoo. There was a young man who was their with his younger 'brother'. Letting them play, it was interesting that all he wanted to do was watch the other boy. At least until he accidently found out he could make music by hitting the floor. I'm a little surprised.
It's so strange that even though neither child is mine biologically I can still find traces of our family in their features. Aysel has gorgeous green skin that wouldn't be out of place on Tethys and Korin has Dad's cute little ears. (Don't let Dad hear I called his ears cute. He'll go on about it for ages.)
I do miss everyone, and I know Aysel is itching to know more of her family after Rei's brief visit. Perhaps we can do something.. sometime...
Love,
Tara

Tara had had enough of Aysel's sulking and moping around Korin. Now siblings that got along was too much to ask but at the very least they needed to realize they were siblings. Which personally Tara thought was part of the problem.
It was a lovely day outside, unseasonably warm. Aysel was at class and Korin was asleep in his crib. Tara however, was seated in the kitchen making a plan. The luna moth had recently shed her skin, attained her dragon and would be highly subsceptable to new 'responsibilities'. Yes, that might work... Quickly the mage worked to set up the spells needed, spending the rest of the day between that and taking care of Korin.
By the time Aysel returned home, everything was all set. Meeting her daughter at the door, Tara nearly shoved Korin at her. Ignoring the sudden wail from her son, she spoke hurridly. "Aysel, they finally got the book I've reserved in but they claim to have lost the reservation. I'm going to go pick it up, I'll be back in half an hour. Watch Korin while I'm gone." Giving Aysel a kiss on the forehead the mage teleported out of sight and sat back to watch her children.

Aysel was startled when Korin was suddenly depositied into her arms. "But Mommy!" she started to say but with a while her mother was gone. Looking down distastefully at the boy she sighed and gestured Apala into the house ahead of her.
Aysel shut the door behind her wincing at the howl of noise from Korin. Awkwardly she bounced him up and down, which ended up getting the boy to scream even worse. "What 'm I supposed to do?" the luna moth asked Apala who just gave a draconic shrug.
The bronze turned and lumbered through the house, making his way to his bed. It was a long and tiring day at D-corp and he was going to take a nap. "'Pala!" the girl called after him. Turning his head back with a snort he barely paused.
Aysel sighed still bouncing/rocking Korin as Apala deserted her in the face of Korin's allmighty screams. Annoyed at the brat, Aysel followed the bronze to the second floor where the bedrooms were. Though her dragon had shut the door behind him, Aysel decided to hunt in Korin's room for something to pacify her brother.
The thought brought speed to her feet. Pacifier! Juggling Korin from arm to arm on her uppers the luna moth tore the room apart with her lower set of arms. The only thing that she could find was a black and white blanket that shifted from color to color.
Gingerly Aysel held the blanket out to Korin, breaking out into a smile when the boy quieted down. Flopping into a rocking chair she sat quietly, drained after the screaming bout. He was never like this with their mother! Ruefully Aysel changed her estimation. If it took so much just to keep him from screaming than maybe it was okay Korin took up so much of her mom's time.
Sitting and rocking back and forth the luna moth thought. While she hadn't particularly intended to Korin slowly fell asleep against his big sister. Aysel herself began to half-drowse in the rocking chair not paying much attention to the rest of the world.
~~~*~~~
Korin was rather rudely woken from his nap in the late afternoon. Dressed, cleaned, and carried around like a sack of potatos. He was, in short, cranky. Though he fussed quietly for his mom it was injury upon insult when he was rudely deposited into the green one's arms.
At first it was just a cry for attention. After all, he couldn't do much. But when that didn't Korin finally got mad. Scream after scream after scream echoed throughtout the hallways. Eventually his sister went into his room.
When the blanket was offered Korin siezed it. It was his blankie! So tired out from the tantrum that Korin barely realized that Aysel had begun to rock him. Swaying with each successive rock he fell against Aysel. Slowly, bit by bit his eyes closed.
~~~*~~~
Tara returned not long after both kids had fallen asleep. Gently she took Korin from Aysel and laid him in the crib. Then a tricky piece of manuvering and she was seated in the rocking chair with Aysel, swinging back and forth.

Growth Quest
Korin has learned to crawl and how to get into things. And it just so happens he gets into someone's makeup and ends up making himself a little feminine "disguise". Whose makeup was it, how did he react to his first use of "illusion", how did the ladies react, what is Tara gonna tell Leia about her nephew? that kinda stuff

Part 1 -Crawling-
Rolling over onto his stomach Korin rocked forwards and backwards. There was a commotion at the other end of the room. Something interesting, that was going on. Rocking forward a little to hard the godling fell forward flat on his face. But now he was slightly closer to the commotion than before. How interesting...
Without a cry, Korin pushed himself up and rocked forward again. Another tumble into his face brought him forward a few centimeters. He was moving! A few more scrunching flops brought the baby closer to the interesting stuffs. Flopping on his stomach in exhaustion the boy lay on the floor. It was too painful and tiring to move that way. There had to be a better way.
Pushing himself upwards he slowly pushed both hands forward. Before he could slam into the floor, Korin pulled his legs up to meet his arms. Pleased with himself, the godling tried to hurry faster and faceplanted once again. It seems like this crawling thing worked only if he took his time.
Slowly, bit by bit the boy crawled over to the excitement. His sister and mother were standing there with this brown stuff all around the ground. Curious Korin reached out to touch it. Crinkling under his finger, the flake felt odd, papery and smooth at the same time. Like someone had take smooth paper and split it so fine that one could almost see through it. Even more curious, Korin grabbed the bit and shoved it in his mouth, exploring the way infants did best.
"That's bad for you!" Aysel suddenly cried, swatting the piece of cacoon out of his mouth. Face scrunching up, the now crawling baby started to whimper. She took the interesting stuff away!
"Mooooom... Korin's getting into the stuff," his sister continued, tattling on him. How dare she! Fussing as his mom bent over and picked him up, Korin fumed at his sisters interference. Korin was plunked down in the middle of his boring toys. Without a pause he began to slowly crawl back to the point of interest.
A sudden loud noise jerked his attention away from the funny stuff on the floor. Just as suddenly he was swung up from the floor and spun round and round. Giggling at the sudden disorientation Korin enjoyed the treat, as well as the subsequent kiss.
He did not enjoy the playpen however. At first he thought that his mommy had simply placed him back down on the floor. Admittedly there was a square drawn around him but he didn't expect it to suddenly restrict his movements. The boy fussed, nearly breaking out into screaming.
Unfortuantly no one payed attention. Perhaps crawling wasn't as good as he thought it would be.

Part 2- Make up
For once he hadn't been confined to that square on the floor! Crawling as fast as possible without face planting too many times the godling hurried towards the open door. He could explore now!
Going through his mother's room Korin slowed down as he reached the hallway. Left or right... Suddenly struck by inspiration he headed towards Sissy's room.
Fortunately the door was still slightly open. The infant moved slowly into his big sister's room. As he explored, the infant picked up shiney pieces on the floor. Coming across a round metal tube, the godling did what all babies do best. Stuck it in his mouth. Grimacing at the taste of metal he spit it out. Unfortunately it broke. More curious than worried he poked the bright red stuff sticking out.
It smushed under his finger. Korin jerked his hand back, staring at the stained tip. Cool! Bringing it to his face he began to smear it around. Scooting over to the box near the metal tube, Korin really began to have fun. Eyeshadow went on, along with blush, gloss, and some sparkley stuff. Sissy just happened to have a mirror in her make-up kit and Korin stumbled across it.
Gleefully looking in the mirror the boy's bottom lip began to quiver. Who was looking out at him? Where'd he go!? The quiver quickly became a full-fledged wail.
~~~*~~~
When Aysel heard her brother's scream, something went all painful inside. Not ready to admit, even to herself, that she was actually worried for her brother, the luna moth hurried towards the screams.
Stopping dead in her door the girl added her screams to her brothers, "MOM!"
Dear Leia,
This week was... stressful. For starters, Aysel has finally shed her cacoon. I can't believe how fast she's growing. She's wearing makeup and talking about boys and.... Humans grow up far too fast!
She's also grown a pair of beautiful wings. I'll send you an image tonight. Aysel's so proud of them, she can't keep them still for more than a moment. In addition to wings, Aysel's dragon hatched. She's named him Apala and he reminds me vaugely of Garr. heart Fortunately none of the hallways are really to small, but I'll have to spell them as he grows. Urgh. This house is getting to be expensive in energy expenditure.
Korin's growing too. Recently he learned how to crawl. Thank Peco for Merlin's handy little looping spell. It makes a great play pen. He can crawl all he likes but he'll just end up where he started. Frustrating but not nearly as much so as a wall would be.
Aysel and I learned a little too late that we'd have to baby-proof the house. Korin got free one afternoon and well... Aysel had forgotten to close her door. He got into his sister's make-up kit and went wild. What's even worse, he didn't seem to like it. I thought he was supposed to be the God of Ilussions. I wouldn't have thought the make-up would bother him so.
Regardless, Aysel freaked out. She's still really mad at Korin. I only hope the little progress they've made doesn't become undone. I scolded Korin for getting in Aysel's things, but there's not much one can do to when they're that little. It's not like Neptunians who understand within a few weeks of being born.
Still, I don't want him to freak-out of his appearance changing, so I might get a second set. Perhaps playing with it will get him more comfortable with not being seen as him. Oo.. If that makes sense.
Hm... I'll be back in a moment..
Leia,
I said I'd be back but... I didn't realize it would take this long. Korin seems to have a temporal disturbance. When I put him to sleep an hour ago he was still clearly an infant but now.. He woke up quite a bit heavier and larger. If I didn't know better I'd say he was well over three instead of the few months he's actually been here. I'm going to have to speak with the crew of the ship... Sam-something or other. I'll get in touch with you later this week after I find out what's going on.
Love,
Tara
PS: Can you ken a copy of our geaneology for me? Korin's looking more and more like a Neptunian and I'm a little concerned (his skin just turned blue). I want to see if there's anyway our family could have mixed. If so.. then I'm even more worried about what other changes he could go through.
Nearly a full two days later, the house was disturbed by a large thwump on the front porch. Surprisingly it was Aysel and Apala who found the thick book first, the dragon stumbling across it on their way back from classes at D-corp.
"'Pala! You scratched one of Mom's books. You better 'pologize to her when we get inside," the luna moth scolded, picking up the leather bound tome. Hanging his head in shame the dragon muttered in draconic, "Sorry..." Aysel nodded at the growl sound, before opening the door.
Pala squeezed through the door and into the front hallway. Following it down to the kitchen, he slid around the corner. Chasing after her dragon with the book Aysel skidded into the kitchen, barely avoiding a collision with the wall. " Forgive me, Mommy-Elder. I have scratched your book." Giving the dragon an odd look, and a scratch on the eye ridges, Tara simply took the book from Aysel. The luna moth spoke up, "It was on the front porch for you when we got back. What is it?" Aysel tried to peer over her mother's shoulder.
"Finally," the mage muttered. "It's a geaneology. It traces my family back through the generations." Flipping the book open to one of the last pages Tara idly fed Korin a banana. "See," she pointed. "That's me, and you two." Her finger traced the the three dots, drawing a heart around them.
Aysel reached out and flipped back a page. "Then who are these people?" Pala pulled himself up on the kitchen table tapping the book delicately with his forelimb. Aysel watched her mom smile fondly.
"Those are my parents and siblings, your grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. This book only shows my blood relatives though. So Uncle Rei isn't on here," Tara explained. Flipping back another page she studdied the book. Then another. One last page, and Tara found something interesting. Scribbled over was a word that looked a lot like.. Tison.
Tracing the lineage Tara raised her eyebrow. It was improbable.. If it were any other family. But, knowing the ****** family. "I named Korin after his brother..." Tara muttered, "I can't..." The woman started to laugh, until tears ran down her face. "There's no way... "
Confused, the luna moth studied the drawing. "But mom... Korin's all the way a the end of the book. Besides there's just a dot crossed out here," the girl objected. Not that thing made much sense anyway...
Korin continued to eat his banana, oblivious to the hubaloo going on around him.
Aysel watched as her mother wiped her face. "You're right," she said, "I can't jump to conclusions. I'm going to have to ask Great-great-grandmother Alusia herself." Her mom nodded and closed the book. "I'll talk to her tonight. Straighten this out." Adding that to the list of calls she'd have to make, Aysel's mom groaned.
Snorting, Aysel crossed her arms. Shooting Korin a dark glare, the luna moth muttered, "'goin' 'o 'y 'oom." Stupid brother. He was making such a fuss and now mom would definately love him more if he was actually related to her. Stupid, stupid, stupid brother.
It wasn't so much that Korin was uncapable of doing things. It was more that Tara never pushed him to learn at a prescribed rate, perferring instead for Korin to learn when he wanted.
Still, the woman was completely unprepared for Korin's sudden growth spurt and the changes that acoompanied it. She was far more used to the gradual growth of human children, seeing as Aysel was the only comparison she had, though Neptunains did tend to have more sharp growths.
So it was to Tara's intense surprise one morning when Korin suddenly said, "'nana?" and pointed to the bunch of bannana's on the counter. Moving automatically, it didn't register with the mage until she had grabbed it that Korin had (finally) started talking.
With a pause, and a dawning smile, Tara turned to Korin. "What is this?" the woman asked, pointing at the banana.
"'Nana!" The godling replied demandingly. "Hungry! Nana!" Korin responded emphatically, only slightly mollifed by the 'Good job!' from his mommy. Within moments the banana was served.
Aysel looked up from scraping her food onto Pala's plate (hey, dragon's were really useful!) to scowl at her little brother. "So what?" she demanded, "I can talk a lot better but you don't tell me good job."
Slightly exasperated, Tara slid into her chair. "I certainly did when you were first learning to talk." The woman watched her daughter, a frown beginnning to form. She hadn't had an easy time adjusting to being Korin's big sister. For a while it seemed like things had been getting better but then after finding out.. She seemed worse than ever. Tara sighed, making a note to find Korin a babysitter or something so the two of them could go out together.
Aysel huffed, "Whatever... I'm done," she proclaimed showing the empty plate. "May I be excused?" Taking her mommy's nod as assent, the luna moth dissapeared up to her room.
There was a short short list of people Tara could call upon in a pinch to babysit. And she had just reached the end of it. D-corp was out, any of the teens that might have been available were not. Niki wasn't answering, nor was Reign. And that just about concluded her list. Hunting through the entire house she finally found the magical card. Dialing, she impatiently waited for an answer. Nearly immediately after it was answered the woman blurted out her request, "Yes, this is Tara, Korin's mom. I really need to go home and I can't find anyone to babysit Korin, Aysel, and Apala. Is there anyone that could possibly fill in at all?" Tapping on the wall she waited impatiently.
It had been a rather bouncy Diyaka who had picked up the phone. He grinned broadly. A baby! Coming to visit! Maybe. "Let me ask Mommy." he said, before covering the mouthpice and turning around. "Mommy! Korin's mommy wants to know if we babysit Korin and two other peoples. Can we? Can we?" he asked, bouncing up and down.
Rouge smiled and walked over, taking the phone. "Yes Tara we can babysit. Where are you going though?"
The mage nearly fell over as she sagged in releif. "Thank Peco," she muttered, ceasing her restless tapping. "Home for a short while. Geaneology and all." She was not going into her suspiciouns just yet. Let them be proved first. "You don't mind having a dragon along, do you? He's not very big yet.." she added hastily.
"Dragon? Nah. Dartie keeps Phillip here a lot so I don't think another dragon would be a problem. Phillip's a lot nicer then Dartie." Rouge said cheerfully and in the background a voice said "I HEARD THAT!"
A laugh was quickly stifled on her end of the line. "Thank you. When and where would you like to pick them up?" she asked moving onto the concrete details quickly. Running through the list of things she needed to get done before she could leave, Tara only half-listened to the answer.
"We'll just port you guys up here in a few minutes. I don't know but I think a certain friend of mine may enjoy seeing your homeworld." Rouge said with a grin.
Tara didn't get to protest before the woman, the girl, the dragon, and the godlet were on the ship in front of Rouge. "Now what were you gonna say?" the blonde asked as Dartsmoore walked over, huge hair bouncing as she did.
Tara certainly would have protested if she knew that her family was going to be swept away. Certainly Aysel would have as she was in the middle of playing dress up with her little brother. After watching makeup applied to him, the toddler was certainly less loathsome to the idea. Letting out a squeak of surprise, Aysel instinctively fanned her wings out, though she had yet to learn how to fly.
At the squeak, Apala reared back and mantled his wings, letting out one of the weakest most pathetic roars a dragon has ever uttered. The baby dragon glared around at everything, unsure of what exactly was the threat.
Competely thrown off by everything Tara just answered, "I beg your pardon?"
"Sorry about that. The transporter's getting fixed so it's working very jerkily. Usually it works slower then that. I think Dia put raisens in there." Rouge mumbled, glancing at the machine in an annoyed sense. "Anyway I said what were you saying before it dragged you here?
"Ah-nothing. Apala relax." she shot to the dragon, who reluctantly dropped back to the floor. "I don't think I should be more than a few hours. Is there anything you need?" she asked back, making sure everything was covered before she left.
"No but again I think Darts wants to go." the woman said indicating her pomp bearing friend. Behind Dartsmoore a large sleepy looking black dragon. He was bigger then Rouge even and she was over 7 feet tall. Dark stone seeming scales and huge bat wings on his back and when he breathed steam came from his nose. But in a way he was kind of ....cute?
Glancing at the woman Tara twisted her fingers together. "Well....If she...really..wanted to," came the hesitant answer. It was a rather small thing to ask for in return for watching her kids. As long as she didn't die. Or get turned into a frog. Or worse..
Apala finally settled on staring at the dragon. He met people everyday but this was the first time he had met another dragon. It must be what was scaring his partner. Who had actually calmed down and scooped up Korin with her lowers, makeup in the uppers.
"I want to. I haven't been out of Tison except to go to Gaia. I'd like to see the other worlds in the system." Dartie said the a nod. "You be good Phel." she said. Unlike what Rouge had said the dragon's name was-Rouge had said Phillip-Dartie called the dragon Phel like fell. It was strange. Where was the miscommunication?
The larger dragon leaned forward, looking at Apala, before cocking his head and nodded at the little dragon.
Tara merely nodded, tucking away the sinking feeling of doom where it wouldn't show. She had a lot more practice now with Aysel and Korin around. "Ah.. Allright then.. It's primarily hydrogen and methane.. Bit larger pressure.. And fairly," she hunted for the correct word, "active magic." Glancing at the gravity defying woman she asked, "Is that doable?"
Apala glared back, snorting at the other dragon. He was trying his best to do that fear breath the dragon teacher had talked about but judging by the other dragon's laidback attitude it was not working. Aysel reached over, juggling things to have a free hand, and tugged on Pala's wing. "Stop it.." himatami1313 (3:25:52 AM): "Sounds fun." Dartie said with a nod.
The dragon snorted again and started to growl in an odd manner. It sounded a lot like a laugh. Was he making fun of Apala? Or just amused with him? TaraNepion (3:31:07 AM): Allright then.. Tara nodded. Moving over to Aysel, Korin, and Apala she gave each of them a kiss and an instruction. "Aysel, watch Korin. Korin, mind Aysel. Apala... Be good." Gathering her thoughts together she nodded, composing the spell in her mind. "I'll be back soon. Ms. Dartsmoore?" she gestured, falling back into old habits. As soon as the woman was in range, Tara brought them out of there and to a small circluar building nearly covered with odd plants.
Apala suffered through the farewell before turning back that that dratted dragon. How dare it! Moving to block Aysel and Korin from the other dragon he growled warningly. Korin squirmed around in his sister's hold to watch the two dragon's intently. "'Pala!" He cheered on the bronze dragon. himatami1313 (3:34:49 AM): Phel laughed louder, rausing his head and shooting fire in the air as he did and thrashing his wings. Then he did something very...odd. He leaned down and picked the bronze up by the scruff of his neck-which seemed like something impossible. And with that he walked out of the room, headed who knew where with Apala?
Rouge smiled and turned to Aysel. "Don't worry about him. He's probably taking Apala to meet the little ones. They're in the 'park'. Dia's there too. Come on, I'll show you there." the woman told her with a grin.
Dartie looked around the room. She nodded once. "Nice. Neat plants. " she commented. TaraNepion (3:45:21 AM): It looked even more impossible with Pala thrashing around so hard it seemed like he would strain something. But all the twisting, turning and kicking did nothing to free him from the older dragon's grasp. Finally Apala just hung limp, a dead weight to Phel. That didn't stop him from very loudly voicing his displeasure, though his voice faded as he was carried off.
Half starting after her dragon, Aysel paused looking at the woman that was now in charge of her. "M'am?" Korin gaped as the dragon's dissapeared.
Tara nodded, "Please don't touch," she said polietly. Before long a short squat woman entered the room. Her skin was almost entirely blue, and seemed to have an inner luminesience. Pointed ears, dark purple eyes and hair that was the white of many not-quite-clear strands pulled together. The mage moved to kiss her great-grandmother on the cheek, explaining rapidly in Neptunian. "So, please speak in Common," she finished switching over to Gaia's most used language.
The woman eyed Darstmoore sharply before adressing her. "Be welcome in my home." himatami1313 (3:52:41 AM): "Thank you." Dartsmoore said with a slight nod of her head. The heavy gravity had caused her gel to stop working entirely and practically evaporate. So her long bangs hung to the sides of her face and the back of her hair hung neatly. When considering she was wearing a black silk jacket and a coresette with her leather pants she actually looked rather...pretty. The assassin knew from her days of being in the high house of Dartsmoore to never address the elder of an ally inpolitely. Phel carried the smaller dragon into a large park like room. a large waterfall like thing flowed into a river by the grassy playground and there was a large cave near it's side. Inside a large lovely thin dragon-similar to an asian lung- lay around a nest. There were several eggs in there of all colors and a few dragons of about Apala's size-bigger and smaller by a bit-played. The colors and gem like bodies were rather interesting as if they'd come from D-corp. But they were all kind of strange looking. Each had pointed ears and they were all like crossbreeds between the two types of dragon.
When Rouge led Aysel and Korin into the playground Diyaka ran up, holding a baby dragon in his arms. It was much smaller then the others and it was blatantly adorable with pearly scales tinted with pink and a thin longish body and small legs. He seemed to giggle and snort steam as Dia tickled him and then held him out towards Aysel. "Baby!" the boy said happily. himatami1313 (4:03:27 AM): ((one thing)) himatami1313 (4:04:21 AM): ((if great great grandma has been with a Tison she may recognize the dialect and she may recognize Dartie as a) Tison and b) a dartsmoore. They travel a lot and were highly connected to the gods like the Muricas so the god of illusions could have been of that line. up to you)) TaraNepion (4:06:20 AM): ((Kay! I don't know about the connections stuff but I think I'll have her recognize the dialect.)) TaraNepion (4:09:32 AM): ((So she could recognize her as a Dartsmoore? Just want to be clear.)) himatami1313 (4:09:58 AM): ((oooooh yeah. She'd recognize that Dartsmoore may also be dishonored since she's missing her tail.)) TaraNepion (4:14:51 AM):
The old woman nodded approvingly, "Now that that formal crap is done with, what can I do for you? Your sister meantioned Korin." The old woman smiled brightly, as she moved to sit down at a table. A pot appeared along with three cups, Filling her own cup, Tara's great-great-grandmother sipped it calmly. Tara filled her own cup then gestured with the pot towards Dartsmoore, filling her cup if assent was given. "Though I suspect by your guest that it has more to do with Tison than Korin himself?" A hint of a smile, that said she knew already hovered on her lips. "Or is it just wanderlust that brings you here Dartsmoore?"
Once finally deposited on the playground, Apala stared around in wonder. So. Many. Dragons. A bit of fear rising up, his gaze hunted for Aysel. As soon as she showed up, the bronze hovered around her, struck shy. Aysel hugged Korin to herself, though he squirmed and left smudges of make-up on her clothes. Suddenly a little boy came up to the trio, adorable dragon in tow. Thouroughly distracted by the shinies, Aysel set Korin down and reached out to pet the dragon.
Free! Korin scooted towards the dragon's as fast as possible, intent on watching. himatami1313 (4:21:32 AM): The baby dragon make the cute giggling motion again, more soft steam floating out and tickling Aysel's fingers gently. Dia handed the baby to Aysel-which it was quite glad of, snuggling close to her and nuzzling her chin. The boy meanwhile hugged his mama.
One of the baby dragons-a bronzy color like Apala, crawled forward to investigate the baby. It was much smaller then the other dragon and had funny curves on its ears-indicating it was female like the other baby dragon in Aysel's arms. This one was investigating the baby. He was different! She'd seen Dia but he was older.
Dartsmoore looked at the woman. "Curiousity brings me here. As the last of the line of Dartsmoore I have the duty to learn and confirm information on the Tison deities. And this trip could prove or disprove one of them." she said calmly, taking a sip of her cup. Korin reached out, patting the baby dragon, hand's exploring the scales. "Lo," the toddler muttered patting the dragon. A little bit of makeup was still stuck on his fingers and made a bright red streak where he explored.
Aysel giggled as the dragon's breath tickled her fingers. Apala had never really been small enough for her to hold and it was just so cute. Apala was learning a new and important emotion. Jealousy. Twisting as much as he could around Aysel, the dragon whimpered, begging for attention from his partner.
TaraNepion (4:45:56 PM):
((TBC)) TaraNepion (4:47:03 PM): ((Oh, the Korins previous incarnations' dad? Did he have a name?)) himatami1313 (4:47:23 PM): ((uuuuuuuuuh not that I remember)) himatami1313 (4:47:27 PM): ((he probablly did though)) TaraNepion (4:47:37 PM): ((In other words I can make one up?)) himatami1313 (4:48:11 PM): (Yes) TaraNepion (4:48:19 PM): ((Whee!)) TaraNepion (4:53:18 PM): The old woman grinned broadly, a tint of nostolgia drifting on the woman's face. "Aauguhr, right?" Completely ignoring her great great grandaughter the woman watched Dartsmoore for confirmation. Tara sat there, watching the two, thinking quickly, though she kept her emotions tuck away from her face. himatami1313 (4:59:12 PM): The baby bounced and nuzzled Korin's hand, getting more color on her. She was having a fun time. Peoples!
The baby snuggled against Aysel some more. She liked being cuddled. Noticing Apala's distress, one of the closer-to-his-age dragons, a boy this time, Dia in toe, decided to try and get the bronze's attention if Aysel didn't give it.
Dartsmoore nodded. "I do believe that was his name when outside of Tisoni Eternica. He was known for using that as an alias and it would make sense for an illusion god to do that. Personally I like Ekusey better but to each his own. I take it then that the legend is true? You may want to tell Nikiana it though." Dartie said himatami1313 (4:59:19 PM): (XDDD sorry. that was just too not tison) TaraNepion (5:00:47 PM): ((That's okay.. Makes sense.)) TaraNepion (5:13:20 PM): Rather glad that the baby dragon was so affectionate, Korin continued to explore the dragon, trying to figure out how it was put together. Pulling on the tail, the toddler tried to see if it would come off.
Apala growled at the other dragon. He didn't want someone eles, he wanted Aysel's attention. The girl rolled her eyes and switched so one hand could pat Apala. Yay for four arms!
The woman laughed, "Oh, pah. I fell in love, had a child and was called back home. There's nothing to much to tell about it. By the time Korin was grown and I could was no longer tied by my duties..." the woman trailed off. "Well, one thing then another." She avoided explaining exactly what kept her from returning. himatami1313 (5:16:11 PM): The baby dragon squeaked and hid under it's big brother who nosed it back to the nest. These two were mean. Dia however stayed to sit down on his haunches and wave at the baby.
The baby dragon did not like this big bronze. It was scary and it made a scary noise! Squeaking sadly she buried her nose in Aysel's cheek and tried to climb up higher so she was more on the girl's shoulder.
Dartsmoore nodded. "Ah but his elder brother became the new god of illusions didnt' he?" himatami1313 (5:16:19 PM): *younger himatami1313 (5:16:25 PM): ((remember, Korin was the brother's name XD)) TaraNepion (5:19:49 PM): ((I know, Korin g.grandpa (G.Grandpa would be the younger brother.. I think.) was who she was referring to. Since he grew up on Neptune. @@)) himatami1313 (5:20:21 PM): ((XDDD okie)) TaraNepion (5:36:31 PM): Whimpering at the loss of something new and interesting, Korin crawled after the baby dragon, still interestted in figuring out the dragon. Apala would never let him explore.
Shifting the dragon so she wouldn't drop it, Aysel turned to Apala. "Stop that. You're scaring the baby." Apala clamped his mouth shut and moved over to sulk in a corner.
The woman shrugged. "I wouldn't know...When I left Aauguhr was still the diety and I haven't heard anything from him since. Of course.. The two places are only analgous once every 15 years (Neptunian).” The woman sighed, before turning to Tara. "And now you have a son named after his brother?" A small smile was on her face. "Leia told me about it. I was wondering how long it would take for you to come see me." Tara shook her head with a slight grimace.
"And so we're really related?" The nod of assent brought a grimace to the mages face. "Allright.. then..." Dartie smiled. "Well this is going to go well in my notes. Recently I've been able to confirm a lot of legends about Tison deities. This rebirth thing is turning out to help Tison's history a bunch. Though I hear I may have to teach the youngins that history. Oh well, it'll be fun. Tison history's interesting." Dartie said with a nod, finishing her tea.
himatami1313 (5:40:07 PM): Another baby poked his head out. He was much tougher then the last one and didnt' mind getting his tail pulled. He was much more stout then her and walked right up to the toddler, swishing his tail.
The little one nuzzled against Aysel, making a purring sound and letting soft steam brush her neck.
Aysel snuggled the baby, settling into the ground. It was just so cute. She rubbed the baby on the head. Korin crawled over to the new dragon. “'Lo,” he greeted the dragon, moving to explore it. Yay for no sense of personal space.
The woman smiled. “I'm glad to help you straighten out history. Good luck with the teaching job, At least it's not something like math. One of the most boring subjects I ever had to take in G.E..” She sipped the hot klah, shaking her head. Switching over to Neptunian the woman turned to Tara and began to speak rapidly in Neptunian. The exchange went on for several moments, the younger woman loosing composure and flushing. Several moments later the exchange ended.
Tara spoke up, fighing her embaressment. “Any time you'd like to return is fine with me.” she muttered to Dartie.
