Mister Well, Stockard Channing was 35 when she played Rizzo, so you can never be too sure about them casting someone too old for a high school role. Though I still hope that they would get a different person who's a much better actress to play Elphaba, though Kristen Chenoweth is certainly short and high pitched enough to reprise her role. Unfortunately, short and high-pitched don't make a role.

I wish they would have filmed one of the original Broadway plays (w/ Idina and Kristin) and made used that as the movie... emo

When they make the movie I would want the LA cast to star in it. They are the best ever!

In the Grimmerie, it claims that Universal Studios bought the rights to it right after the book came out several years ago. I never heard anything about Demi Moore, although it's believable.
If it were a movie, I'd kinda like to see an adaptation of the book, but somehow I feel that's out of the cards, as the musical seems to be in the brighter spotlight than the book. I just don't see "Defying Gravity" working on the screen...it's spectacular on the stage but even with computer technology, I think that scene will just come out really cheesy.
Ah well. We don't even know whether there's ever gonna be a movie XD
