Dia’s First Kiss
Rayne’s in the bold, Dg’s not

*****

Diyaka watched as Vishal climbed into his hammock and giggled, climbing in as well. He wanted to swing too! And he'd never seen a "hammock" before. It seemed fun! And besides, he wanted to hug Vishal some more. His Mommy hugged Dartie when they were sitting on his Mommy's bed so it was okay to hug Vishy on his bed.

Vishal laid down in the hammock on his side, wings fluttering behind him and he looked over at his friend watching him in silence. It was nice to have a friend over though it felt a little odd. He wasn't used to people being so close as this especially in his room, it wasn't that bad though was it?
There was a shifting as long, dark inky tendrils reached up to catch hold of Vishal's tail and the small critter that was Gel pulled itself up onto his Master's tail, looking over the two laying there. It blinked its large eyes before oozing along forward towards them two of them using Vishal as a bridge.

Dia smiled and pat the creature a few times before wrapping his arms around Vishal and smiling. Warrrrrm. Vishy was nice to hold close. And Gel was squishy!

The Monster Godling blinked a couple times before he wrapped an arm around his friend, wrap wrapping around him as well. He then let his eyes close... this was a sign of how much he seemed to trust the other boy, to let down his guard as much as this with him. For some reason he felt no desire to do as much with others, he worried to much. Dia didn't seem to dangerous though...

Dia smiled and snuggled close to Vishal and closed his eyes as well. Vishal would keep him safe in case anything bad happened. It was nice just being near him. Vishal was really grumpy and cold on the outside but he was warm and cuddly on the inside. Dia was sure of it.

*****

Dia woke up, snuggled against his friend, and yawned a bit. The other boy was nice to cuddle with and the rockign was fun. He'd have to have a sleep over with Vishal again sometime.

Vishal was still out of it, grummbling in his sleep his tail swishing back and forth as he dreamed about whatever it was Monster Gods dreamed of... one could only guess by the smirk on the boy's lips. He was most amused... which would no doubt worry anyone in his family were they to see it.

Dia giggled a bit and decided he'd let Vishy sleep for a few more minutes, burying his face in the crook of Vishy's neck. He'd wake him soon he was sure.

The monster god shifted, rolling onto his other side and gave a grummling sound in his sleep whatever he had been dreaming of, whatever mischeif he had been dreaming about had seemed to fade away to shift instead something that wasn't as fun, wasn't as pleasing to his mind. Vishal gave a sound rather like a whimper and he reached a hand out towards whatever it was that he was seeing.

Dia jumped up a bit at the whimper. His friend was hurting. He tried to shake him from this sleeping state but it didn't seem to be workign. He wanted Vishy to wake up, to be okay! Remembering something he'd heard in a story his mother told him, he leaned forward and gently pressed his lips against the other boy's. It was clumsy and a bit wet and very childish but he tried to kiss Vishal awake. Hopefully it would work.

It would seem that this time around it would in fact work, dragging the Monster God forth from the dream with a squeaking sound, shocked as he realized what was going on and he gave Dia a push and then sat up quickly... to much so as they were suddenly flipped out of the hammock and he landed on his face with a muttering sound.

"Are you okay?" Dia asked, helping him up. "I was trying to wake you up from a bad dream but you wouldn't wake up!" he said in a slightly worried tone, looking at the other boy to see if he was hurt.

Vishal shook his head, "I'm fine." He said, hand lifting up to rub it against the side of his head, "Un... what? Why kiss me?" He asked, giving him an odd look. He didn't understand why the other boy had suddenly kissed him, icky! He was to young to see anything good in the kiss, all he realized was that Dia was trying to give him cooties!

"Cause in the story mommy told me when the person wouldn't wake up the prince kissed them and they woke up. Mommy says I'm a prince so I thought if I kissed you you'd wake up from the bad dream. I didnt' want you to have the bad dream." the other boy said. He lived with women....and Steve. so he didn't know what cooties were.

Vishal blinked a couple times before he looked down at his hands, thinking on it, "Hrm... I see." He murmured, before he stood up... then looked down at the currently flattened Gel. The thing shifted, shivered, then returned to its real form. Gel had been squished a couple times so the thing was used to it.

Dia smiled and stood up to hug Vishal. "I'm glad you're okay." he told him happily. He didn't like seeing his friends in pain, especially not Vishy. Vishy made him happy. "What did you dream about?"

Vishal shook his head as he lifted his hand to rub it against his head, "I... don't remember." He murmured, he couldn't remember his dream only the overwhelming feeling of being alone, of darkness that invaded his mind and threatened to crush him.

Dia hugged him close. "Well I'm glad you're better now." he said softly. The other boy was dear to him for some reason that he couldn't get fathom. Maybe some day he would understand why he wanted to cling to Vishal and kiss him again and make him happy. But for now he'd stick to just being playmates.

He nodded, "Yeah, much better now." He said as he lowered his hand. His dream was forgotten as he looked over at his friend, he had better things to do then worry over something that he didn't even really remember anything from right? What was the point in it?

Dia grinned and jumped back, feeling like he might be creeping Vishal out a bit with all this hugging. Vishal usually freaked when hugged. "What do you wanna do now? Go out and play?"

He nodded, "Yeah, can go play." He said, curious about how long they had slept. He led the way to the door of his room, peeking out to see what was going on out in the rest of the house.

Diyaka giggled and poked his head out. Krishna was sitting at the table and he smiled, waving at her. She seemed cute and friendly. But he stilled liked Vishy better.

Kris glanced over at the boy that appeared with Vishal and lifted a hand to wave, giggling, "Hiyas!" She said happily, hopping up to his feet and walked over to the two of them that stood there. She gave them a close, once over look before she looked over at Vishal, "Did you have a good nap Vishy?"

Vishal's eyes narrowed a little on her, "What? None of your business." He muttered, taking hold of Dia's hand to try to lead him off away from his bratty sister.

Dia waved and smiled. "Nice to meet you Deluca." he called as he walked away then stopped. Where had that name come from? Deluca? She was familiar but why'd he call her that? He'd never seen her before but yet he felt as if he had. Older and prettier and in an.....arm wrestling match with someone he couldn't remember meeting but was sure was his brother.

Kris gave him an odd look before turning back to return to her crayons, "Boys are odd." She murmured to herself before she went back to what she had been doing. She didn't know if she would ever understand them... if she even wanted too.

Vishal walked along with Dia, opening the door to the outside and let Dia out first before following after him, looking around to make sure that everything was fine. Nothing seemed to wrong so it should be fine for them to play out here.

Dia smiled and rubbed his head. "That was strange." he said before turning to Vishal, poking him in the shoulder. "Tag!" and then he was off, like a fox running from a hunter.

Vishal blinked then went tearing off after him, wings flapping to help him to run that much faster in his attempt to catch up with him.

The wing flapping acutally slowed him down due to them catching air. He at one point tripped over a rock however and they caused him to fly a little forward due to the boost, and tackle Dia.

Vishal gave a squeak, "Sorry." He murmured, looking down at the boy. He'd not expected that, he got to his feet and easily helped the other boy to his before looking at his wings oddly. He'd not gotten such lift before... almost like flying...

Dia giggled. "You flewed!" he laughed, hugging Vishal again.

"Flewed." He murmured, then fluttered his wings happily.

Dia meant flew but he wasn't the best at grammar yet. Someone inside watching this would have started laughing their butt off at the scene that had taken place. Vishal diving on the other boy then the other hugging him...had they been older this would have probably been put in a yaoi comic or something.

Vishal gave a smile before he started running again, trying to jump and flap though it would seem this time around he wasn't quite going to get any flying in.

Dia chased him and chased him as hard as his little legs would carry him. That rock keep popping up though and this time it was Dia who flew. Only it wasn't as high and he just crashed into Vishal's back, giggling.

Vishal gave a stummble before he caught himself, his tail wrapping around Dia tightly enough to catch him and keep him from falling and hurting himself, "Are you ok?" He asked, looking at his friend then gave him a smile.'

Dia nodded. "I'm okie. This is fun!"

"Vishal! You and your friend should come inside! Its time to eat!" Came a voice, one that drew Vishal's complete attention, it was Keiji.
"Coming Mum!" He called then looked over at Dia, "Come on? Time to eat."

"Okie doke!" Dia grabbed Vishy's hand and ran in with him. He liked Vishal's family.

Vishal hurried along, "Gonna hurry, have to if we want to get first dibs on dinner." He told his friend pushing the door open and hurried to the table, diving into his chair to grab his plate. He jumped from his chair to land in front of the counter and started to dish up food. Just after he started the twins showed up to get their as well as Kris all of them trying to get what they wanted first.

Keiji gave a bit of a groan, "Kids..." He muttered.

Dia walked slowly behind the others. He didn't eat much and could get whatever he wanted when he got home so he'd wait till everyone else served themselves. Smiling he waved to Keji. "You have pretty wings."

Keiji looked over at the boy that had been playing with his boy before giving a smile, "I thank you." He said, giving them a flutter.

"Vishy flewed with his wings today." the boy said proud of his friend.

Math Teachers and Big Brothers
Tara’s in the green, Dg’s in the black

Rouge Remika was in a rather bewildered state. Prior to becoming the guardian to a reborn godlet she had been quite excited about being a mother and had thought it would be wonderful if she were to become a guardian of one of the children at the Ghosts of the Past establishment. Now she'd gotten her wish but that meant she'd have to care for a second child. Diyaka was loving and cheerful enough and wouldn't mind having a sister but Rouge didn't have a clue what kind of temperment a Gorgon would have. Hell for all she knew the kid would end up being like Dartsmoore personalitywise. And that'd never mesh. And this new child would mean new responsability and less time for the blonde. That was why she was currently looking for Amaria, to ask for a hand in this situation.

Amaria was currently bent over a desk, working on several different equations. Something wasn't turning out correctly and she couldn't exactly figure what. Throwing down her writing utensil the woman pushed back from the desk. Sometimes it was useful to take a break. Moving to the rooms door, she opened the door.

Rouge entered when Amaria allowed her to. "Hey Ama, I've kinda got a problem of an unusual and vaguely mathematical nature. Do you have time to talk?"

Amaria raised an eyebrow. What were the odds...Rouge was just going to "Perfect timing. I was just taking a break.." The woman gestured away from the room, rather reluctant to stay in the same room as that irritating problem. "What is the problem?"

"Well you see, while I was in gaia to visit a friend I ended up in a shop that she's associated. There I ended up having to touch a book which assigned me to care for this odd wand which will turn into a baby at some point. This baby is going to be the reborn version of some being from that world. Caring for a kid whose growth I could predict and which is from Tison I can do but caring for two is going to get kind of impossible. There's one of me and 2 kids is gonna completely cut into any schedule I have. One of the new jobs I've had to take on is that of a Teacher on the ship. The reborn gods need to be educated and I was going to teach them a few subjects with the help of a few other staff members. But I don't think I can handle all of the classes I was going to teach. So would you be open to teach math to reborn godlets?" Rouge asked.

Amaria blinked, going over what the woman said in her head. One adult, two kids. It was already an annoying ratio. Of course, she'd perfer a 1:0 ratio period but that was more or less because kids didn't listen and certainly didn't think logically. But she did owe Rouge.. And it was mathematics. "Well.. As long as it's math... The other child's not on a exponential or geometrical growth schedule? Most beings do grow on a certian schedule," Mathematics was present in everything. Everything!

"I don't know how she's gonna grow really. I barely know Diyaka's growth schedule. The first time it was 2 days, then two weeks, then 3 weeks. I really don't know right now but I think this time it'll be a month. As for the other child I have no idea. I have to prepare for this kid soon just in case she comes in 2 days just like Dia did."

"As for the teaching, you'll have to teach the basics at first but as they grow they'll be able to learn the big stuff."

Amaria nodded, noting down the times for later. Perhaps she could find a goemetric progression in the dates. "Basics...?" A frown danced on her face. Differential equations and multi-variable calculus was just a mental exercise but the basics. Without a calculator it would be a bit harder than usual. She'd probably have to assign homework too. "Allright...," Amaria replied absently, "I'll try to make lessons up or something." She smiled, thinking about the math filled hours ahead, more or less forgetting about the other child problem.

“Dartsmoore can help you. She seems to have taken a liking to simplifying everything on board the ship. She's probably just bored again. Anyway, do you want to come along with me when I break this to Diyaka? I have no idea what so ever how he'll react and I'm worried."

Amaria nodded, focusing back on Rouge. "Of course. Chances decrease as the amount of adults present increase," she added to herself. "Lead the way."

Diyaka was in the playroom, coloring on a big easel that Rouge had set up for him. When he saw the two the boy rushed over and hugged them around the middle. "Mommy! Ama!" Rouge smiled and hugged her son. "Hey Dia. We have something to talk to you about."

Amaria waved awkwardly. "Hello Diyaka," she said. As Diyaka rushed over and hugged her the woman patted him awkwardly on the head. "Yes.. Wait...We?" Amara glanced over at Rouge uncertainly. She wasn't going to much explaining right?

"I, but you're here for moral support so I said we." she told the other woman before looking back at the boy. "Dia, you are going to have a younger sibling soon. And they're going to come from this wand." she told him, showing the boy the red snake wand. The boy blinked a few times and smiled. "So it's like a relic?"

Shifting from side to side, Amaria watched the two. What was moral support supposed to do anyway?

Diyaka looked up at Ama and smiled. "So why's Ama here?" Rouge laughed. "Well Ama's going to teach math to you with the other kids and she was around when I wanted to talk to you. I was worried you'd get mad." Rouge told the boy. He nodded and smiled. "Okie dokie. I bet Miss Ama has a math problem to do. So Mommy and I can go shopping for the baby while she gets back to it." the boy said cheerfully before running off with his mother.

Unnerving how clearly the boy saw things. Or perhaps she was simply that predictable. Amaria just waved as Diayaka rushed off again, feeling offbalance as she always did after dealing with children. Perhaps she could go find that mistake now... With that Amaria wandered back to the problem.

Snake, the Book and the Crib
Demetra's growth quest

Rouge was a confused goose. She didn’t know what on earth a gorgon was and in some upcoming period of time she’d be caring for one. After preparing a bit for a baby -figuring out where she was gonna put the kid, telling Dia, and such-Rouge decided it was time to start preparing for a gorgon baby. And the best way to start preparing for a kid of a species you’ve never heard of is to find out what the heck this species is. And the best person to ask on that matter was Dartsmoore.

Charlene Phillip Dartsmoore was the last of a clan of Tison historians and general oddities. Apart from studying history, they traveled a lot, knew many languages, practiced all sorts of spells, and were generally highly rounded in bizarre things. And knowledge of creatures that existed in other dimensions and galaxies was one of those things she knew of and kept information on. So here Rouge and Dartie were going through the latter’s library in search of a book with information on gorgons that Charlene swore was there.

“Aha! Found it!” the white haired Dartsmoore exclaimed, holding a book of Greek mythology high over her head-which wasn’t difficult as she was short. Rouge rushed over and looked at it.

“So this kid is Greek? Odd. Okie let’s have a look-see.” The blonde mumbled with a shrug, opening the pages to the section on gorgons.

Aloud the woman read from the volume.

“In Greek mythology the Gorgons ("terrible" or, according to some, "loud-roaring") were vicious female monsters with sharp fangs and hair of living, venomous snakes. Gorgons are sometimes depicted as having wings of gold, brazen claws, and the tusks of boars. According to the myths, seeing the face of a Gorgon turned the viewer to stone.” she read, blinking.

After she had read the entire section on the creatures-which sited many other volumes and stories on the matter-the blonde felt she had a good grasp of what the heck a gorgon was and what she should do to prepare. Dartsmoore had told Rouge to keep the book for the kid-as Greece and it’s myths would be something she’d need to know of later.

---

Rouge had no clue how to prepare to deal with the turning one to stone when looking into a gorgons eyes bit but she was sure there were some things she could do to make the child feel more at home.

This brought on a trip to the Tison Capital with her son Diyaka. Tisoni Immortalis was famous for its terrific shopping. The first stop there-at Diyaka’s request-was a fabric and embroidery shop. And it wasn’t exactly a bad idea. She’d told the boy about what a gorgon was briefly on the way and he had wanted to make her a snake plushie to snuggle like his kitty plushie.

The two were soon accosted by a shop worker. “Can I help you two with anything?” she said helpfully.

“Yeah, we need to find red thread, some of that stretchy spandexy material and a pattern for a plush snake.” Rouge said, thinking hard about what all she needed.

“And fluff! We need fluff!” Dia added happily.

The worker smiled. “All right I’ll show you to the fabric you want and I’ll try to find you the pattern.”

Rouge and Diyaka decided after a while that they wanted to get red and gold fabric for the snake-since that was the colors of the snake on the wand and Dia wanted it to look like that snake. They also decided that those funny little balls that go inside of the spanex neck pillows would be much nicer in the snake then just stuffing.

Before long they had their pattern and supplies and it was time to go to the next store. This time it was an antique’s shop. Rouge wanted to get a crib for the baby. Dia had been the first child on the ship so Rouge had just let him stay in the padded playroom to sleep. Now she knew was babies needed and a nice old wood bassinet would be perfect. Especially if it could rock.

The old man behind the counter didn’t bother Dia or Rouge while they looked but the boy kept spotting things he liked and distracting Rouge from her task. But in the end she found it and brought the strange thing to the counter. It was of a wood that Rouge didn’t recognize and hand all sorts of strange carvings on it. The bodies of the people were facing forward but their faces were to the side.

“Excuse me sir, do you know anything about this crib?” she asked the old man.

He smiled and nodded. “Yes. That’s from another galaxy that is. From a place called Greece. I came by it on a trip there many years ago in a small town. It features a story of some sort but I never learned about their stories so I don’t know which.” The woman shrugged and purchased it anyway. Dartie would know probably.

Diyaka was excited. He and his mommy had gotten more things for the baby! And now they got to go home and make the snakey! What fun!

---

Back on the ship Rouge and Diyaka set to figuring out how to sew and making the toy for the child. Dartsmoore was meanwhile attempting to decipher the markings on the crib.

The two workers were interrupted when Dartie let out a loud “AHA!” Turning Dia decided to inquire as to if she knew what the story was.

“I believe I do. This crib isn’t severely old but it does depict a story from Rouge’s mythology book. It tells of a beautiful woman who had an affair with someone in a temple-or so it seems- and was turned into a gorgon and later was slain by being shown a mirror so she petrified herself and was beheaded. There’s more to the story but there wasn’t room.” The silver haired assassin told the other two.

Diyaka blinked and grinned. “Cool!” he shouted. “Baby gets a new toy, and a book and a crib with a story on it! She’ll feel so special!” he cheered.

---

The snake plush took a week to finish but when it was done Rouge and Diyaka were very proud. Putting the toy in the bassinet with a blanket the boy was sure that his sister would love it. But when would she come?

The Comedy Show
Journal Entry

This evening Diyaka, Dartie, Demetra and I were sitting around listening to comedy CDs. We were trying to figure out what goes on in gaia and Dartie suggested listening to the comedians since stand up comedians seem to talk about the current events here so maybe they do it there too. Well we listened to some people that Chip suggested-he's half human so he knows all sorts of intereting music and comedians.

The evening consisted of listening to a bunch of very different strange people. Some really angry hispanic guy called Carlos Men something. And then an even angrier guy called Denis. And then this fat guy who liked to comment on his own show whose last name was something like Gaffigan. And there was this guy called Lewis which amused me because Lewis is a silly name. And there was also this guy called Robin Williams or something who did a bunch of silly voices. And there was a kind of funny but nto really dude called something Cook and a really really hysterical guy who sounded very very chill. His name was Mitch. There were also some guys who seemed to all be something they called Rednecks and they talled about blue collar but wouldn't that clash?

Dartsmoore and I were highly amused but Diyaka and Demetra didn't really seem to get any of the jokes. Demetra gurgled throughout the whole thing though I think she found Mitch's voice to be very soothing since she was completely silent except for a bit of cooing during his show. She was hiding behind me at first since I don't think she understood why there was suddenly the sound of lots of people from inside of the big black circle on the wall. I informed Dartsmoore that she didn't seem to understand the speaker and she said "Well DUH! She's a ghost and a baby. What ghostly babies do you know that automatically are born knowing what the hell a speaker is." I don't know but with Dartie around I have a feeling that Demetra's first word will be a curse word.

The Big Shopping Trip
A Solo Rp/Prompt Example

Diyaka had been shopping with his Mommy in the capital before. And he had been to the grocery store with Feejhu and her Mommy. And he had been in the human mall shopping with Feejhu and her Daddy. But never before had he been shopping with Dartie.

Today was the day that Tan Pan Murica would be having her baby. Steve had taken Feejhu out for her last treat as an only child and to do some school shopping. Rouge was helping Sasha-the Ship's Doctor-with the birthing. Karyn was on Guardian Duty. Rouge's other assistants were doing their designated jobs. And Tan Pan was obviously in labor.

So here was Diyaka walking with Dartsmoore around a market in Metriyika. He had never been to the place that it had all begun, where his Mommy had found the Samadueanna and met her best friends. He had also never known the history behind it.

"Dartie, why are there so many people here? What's so special about Metriyika that it gets a special giant market?"

Dartsmoore stopped and thought for a sec. "Hm.......well Metriyika is where the locate junkyards and such. So there's a ton of work here. They put the jails here because there are some of the strongest people in Tison to be guards and there's plenty of things to make them do while they're here in prison and it's hot. They do most of the outlands slave trading here since there are so many workers needed. So people probably put the market here to take advantage of how many people are here doing business." she told him with a nod.

"Oooooooooooooooh! Do they have things I could use for school?" he asked, blinking a few times and looking around. Could he get a backpack here?

"You'd be amazed at what you can get here. Tisoni Immortalis is where you shop when you have a lot of money and want eveyrthing either brand new or old but still not really used. Everything is cheap here. Some things are used, some are home made, some are just rejected from the big stores and some is all of the above." Dartie told him in a hushed tone. Mainly since she was a bargain shopper and liked to save her money.

"Do you go dumpster diving too?" Dia asked, having been told by his mom that if you looked through the junk you can find some great stuff.

"On occasion. You know your mother was raised to work in a junkyard and once when the family she lived with was away she was out looking for interesting things in the giant junkyard behind her home and found the Samadueanna fully functional hidden beneath the mess. It had been decomisioned and needed some cleaning and wasn't finished but it was perfect. Karyn, Steve and Rouge fixed it up and well now you live on it."

Diyaka was pretty silent taking in the funny market. The people were willing to give him all sorts of presents. Some because they knew Dartsmoore, some because they had heard of Dartsmoore and some because Diyaka was so damn adorable! Pens, paper, pencils, and other strange thigns to use at school. She even got him a great sketchpad.

Clothes shopping with Dartie was interesting. She liked to wear lots of leather so Dia was wondering if she'd make him wear leather pants like he did in some of the pictures of Deiyya. But strangely she knew a place where they had corderoy pants with ruffles on the bottom of them-which the lady who sold them claimed that the pants design had been made by Deiyya and as Dia looked similar to her god(for she was a purebred Ecron) he could have them for free. He also got a high collared silk shirt and a nice big hat with a flower on it that he really liked.

Diyaka also got a black messanger bag on his trip with Dartie. Mainly this was so he didn't lose all of his school books and papers traveling around the ship.

When they were all done the two had to head back home as Rouge had called and said that Karyn had to go back to Dahi to let Tan Pan's family know of the birth of the baby and so someone had to be on Guardian Duty. All in all Diyaka was pleased. It had been a good day.

Swings and Brownies
Ritize is in the pink and dark red, Dg's in the black

Ama sighed softly as she watched Remi throw toys around. "She needs to play with someone"she said then picked up the phone dialing in the number she had gotten from Rouge.
The phone was answered on the second ring and a small voice answerd. "Hallo? This is the ship. Dia speaking. Whose this?"
"This is Ama, Remi's...mom"she said letting a pause before she said mom, not too sure about.
Remi looked up at Ama as she heard her name wanting to know what was going on.
Dia poked the computer to find out who Remi was. Oh! One of the babies! "Oh hallo. What's up"
"Remi needs someone to play with, I don't have anymore chitlens running around the house so she's quite the bored one even with Chinano"she said smiling a bit as Remi climbed into her lap reaching for the phone.
Dia thought for a bit. "Well she could come up here and play with me I guess. I don't have much to do either."
Remi grabbed the phone from Ama pulling it to her mouth "ja"she shouted.
Dia giggled "jajajaja" he said to her
"daaaanaja"she said with a giggle.
Ama took the phine back from Remi with a laugh. "well then in Remi's words JA!"
"Okie. See you in a few." the boy said, hanging up and pushing a few buttons on the control panel to teleport the two up to the ship in front of him. "Hiya!" he told them waving.
"Hello"Ama said still not used to the teleporting.
Remi smiled climbing down to the ground crawling over to Dia "nyaaaaaa"
"Hi there." he told her, kneeling to hug the baby.
She smiled at him broadly"jun-jun"she said lifting up a saint patty's day fox plushie
"Oh really. Jun Jun can meet FeeshFeesh" he told her, holding up a very shiny bean bag fish
Remi lifted up Jun-jun having him kiss the fish lightly. "feeeeeeeeeeeeee"
"Feeeeeee!" Dia giggled in response. What a silly baby! "Hey! I know something to do! Do you two wanna see what Remi used to look like?"
Ama looked up from the book she had pulled from her pocket. "Before I got her"she said shocked.
"naaaaniiiii"she said wide-eyed wanting to know what Dia ment.
Dia nodded and ran to another part of the room they were in to grab a really large book. Sitting on the floor with the baby and near the woman he opened the old leather bound tome to a suprisingly glossy picture. It was of a young woman with long white hair, crystaline blue eyes, a small diamond on her forhead, and a loose white gown. She was lovely in every way and it was amazing to see her grace and innocence. the woman sat on the edge of a large stone fountain with a glowing pool on the inside. She looked strangely wistful, like her mind was in another place. This lovely woman, had been the Oracle.
"I remember that pool" Ama said softly thinking back on that dream when she had gotten Remi.
Remi reached out towards the picture entraced by the beauty of what she had used to be. "datasi"
"Yes that's you." Dia told her, fluffing the small girl's blonde hair. It would turn white in time and then she would be quite a sight.
She turned her head to the boy and poked his nose. "doo"she said then turned back to the book pointing at her picture agian.
"Do?' he asked, blinking.
Remi turned around agian poking his nose once more "doo" she said trying to make out the word to sound like you.
"You want to see what I looked like?" he asked, trying to make out the word.
She nodded"Ja"she said turning back to the book curious about all that was in it.
Dia turned the page, revealing another glossy picture. It was of a young man with long black hair. He had a slight tan and a lovely body. He was thin and wore black leather-a vest that showed his midriff and a pair of leather pants and boots. He was rather hot but the fireball he was holding may have had something to do with that
Remi giggled at the picture turning back to Dia poking his nose "juu"she said smiling and giggling.
"Yes me." he laughed.
"oolu"she said smiling then turned to the book trying to turn the pages of it.
Other deities flashed by and it landed on a picture that was actually a bit frightening. A young man with long red hair. His eyes were cold and black and his skin seemed gaunt and pale. He wore a black cloak and one of his hands was completely black. As if it were being slowly eaten away by darkness itself. There was also a patch of his face around one of his eyes that was also becoming black like that.
Remi shivered turning her face into Dia's chest scared of the picture infront of her. "no"she wispered crying abit
Dia snuggled her close. This man seemed.......familiar. In a scary way. Ama should recognize him, having seen the face of the man who killed the Oracle.
Ama stared at the picture her mouth hanging open eyes wide"him"she wispered softly reaching down to close the book on the man's face.
Remi continued to cry her tears soaking into Dia's shirt.
Dia bounced her a bit hugging her close. "It's okay. he's gone. he's gone."
Ama took the book walking across the room placing it back where she saw Dia get it from.
Remi looked up at Dia then turned a bit to where the book had been. She nodded and smiled a bit "bai bai?"
"Bai bai." he assured her. Who had that man been? He'd ask Dartie later.
"opaa"she said letting a bright smile fill her face agian.
Ama watched them smiling happy Remi had a playmate for the time being.
Dia picked up the little girl and helped her onto a little swing seat near him. It was safe enough for a baby and a 6 year old so that was good.
Remi looked confused as this was her first time on a swing. "naaaaaa"she said kicking her legs a bit
Dia smiled and nodded. "Yeah you kick your legs when we are up so that you go farther forward when we go down."
She gave him a puzzled look then kicked her legs forward then backward trying to follow his instructions
So far so good. she was doing great!
Ama laughed wondering why she had never put Remi on the old swing set out back of their house.
Remi continued to kick leaning forward and back getting herself further into the air giggling as she did.
Dia was enjoying himself as well. The two were having a swinging contest!
Remi kicked harder wanting to go higher and higher. "buuuudiiii"she said giggling stretching out her arms for a moment then pulling them back in.
Dia laughed and laughed as she did. He had more freedom to swing but she was even with him due to both having very short legs.
Remi continued to giggle looking over to Dia a bit putting her entire small body into it trying to get higher them him.
Ama laughed thinking about how much she lifted Remi high up into the air "she likes the hieght you know"she said watching her little girl with a smile.
"Good. Height is fun."
Remi giggled nodding as she continued to kick beating Dia a bit as her swing was almost at it's hieght limit.
Dia was having a blast trying to get higher then her. But his little legs were tired-having been running around all day- and he was quickly losing altitude.
"nyaa?"Remi looked over at Dia and stopped kick knowticing he was getting lower.
"I'm tired." he laughed. "I'll rest for a bit and get us a treat. You keep playing." he told her.
She nodded abit and continued kicking getting back up to the hieght she had been at.
Dia returned to the room in a few minutes with a tray full of hot fresh brownies. "Want any?" he asked the other two
Remi imedenitly stopped as she smelt the brownies. "datasi" she said reaching for them.
Ama shook her head"none for me, but thank you for the offer"she said with a smile.
Dia handed the baby one and started to eat one himself. "You don't like brownies?"
Remi munched on her brownie smiling at the chocolatey goodness.
Ama shook her head "No I like brownies just not in the mood for them."
"Ah." The boy said before laying down on the couch. He wasn't in a swinging mood again yet.
Remi finsihed her brownie then tried to get out of the swing.
Dia stood and walked over to help her out. "Better?"
She nodded giggling loving the smell of Dia.
He carried her over to the couch and put her down so she could get another brownie if she wanted.
Remi grabbed a brownie and split it in two handing the other half to Dia as she munched on hers.
Ama smiled "I think she likes you"she said laughing grabbing a brownie and nibbling on the corner
Dia giggled. "She's nice." he said, eatting and hugging her.
Remi hugged him back smiling at him then at Ama.
Ama nodded slightly"it's okay dear he's a sweety"she said so Remi with a smile.
Dia blushed and smiled, playing with teh baby a bit more.
Remi poked his pink cheeks then claped her hands putting them outward for him to clap them.
Oooh! Pattycake! he loved this game! Clapping her hands he started to sing the song his Mommy taught him. "Patty cake patty cake." he laughed.
She giggled clapping along with him "batas maa"
"bake me a cake as fast as you can." he giggled, having fun playing thsi game with her.
"ool ih"she giggled rolling her tiny fists over each other.
"And pat it and mark it with and D." he said. D worked better then R.
"fuuu Dia daaaaan mee"she said pointing at Dia then at herself giggling her smile wider than ever.
The two played some other hand games for a while. Dia was getting a bit tired. It was nearly time for him to go to bed. They'd played a long time.
Remi yawned and climbed into Dia's lap still smiling. "weeeeeeeeeepeeeeee"she said snuggling aginst him.
Dia didn't get that but he didn't care. "Sleeeeeeepy."he agreed, hugging her
She giggled a bit then yawned agian tierd from having such a good time with Dia.
As the two drifted off Rouge came in. "Hey Ama. Did these two behave?"
Ama looked up at Rouge "Hmm, oh yes they did." She said nodding surprised a little to see Rouge
"Well I'll send you two home and put Dia to bed. He hasn't had much company as of late."
"Nor has Remi"She said moving over to where Remi and Dia lie taking Remi gently from his arms. "We had a good time, maybe we'll come up again"she said with a smile stroking the baby's blonde hair.
"I hope you do." Rouge said, sending the two home with the transporter. When she did she picked up her son and took him over to his bed to tuck him in.
Ama smiled down at Remi and brought her up the stairs of thier house tucking her into her cradle.

Blonde Babies and BIG Headaches
Journal Entry

Well the past week or so has been insane. Tan Pan had her baby and I've been helping out. Rin Kin Murica is currently very healthy, very cheerful and very cute. She's pale and thin like her mother but she's got Steve's blonde hair and orange eyes. Diyaka doesn't seem to have much of an interest in the baby which is odd because he's usually pretty social. He's been very out of it. Though I think it's just nerves. He starts classes soon.

Demetra has been very.......annoying as of late. She's not even a baby yet and still she's screaming and crying whenever Diyaka's gone for too long. I keep finding myself using the phrase "Not right now I have a headache" and that's just when being asked if I can babysit or inform a guardian. Dartsmoore's been being called to work a lot too as of late so I'm worried about the kids being alone. However now that Rin Kin is a little more healthy I am hoping to have more time. Tan Pan is used to having a baby, even if it's not one that grows to a toddler in 2 weeks.

Baby Ghost Party At Denny's
Nessy is in the bold. Dg isn't

Well this was certainly new. Actual people bringing you food, and not just sending your order up and having it carted over by a machine. Certainly it added something, especially if you talked back to the person.

Nessalyn had finally bitten the bullet, and was sick of staying cooped-up in her aparment. Certainly she hadn't been able to get a hold of Luciel, so going out with Vilia was something she was going to have to do own her own. Certainly the little ghost needed to socialize! The little ghost, who was currently wrapped around the commander's arm like an armlet.

She was making cooing noises, not upset or scared at all. More like she was looking for something.

What in the world was she up to now?

Rouge Remika had never been to Denny's before. But she had been looking for a place to take her children out to and Denny's had seemed nice enough.

The blonde's two children-Diyaka and Demetra-both had their own reactions to the place. The 7 year old Diyaka was quite excited to go out and chit chat with his Mama, who had been busy all week. He was also excited because he'd seen pies in a case behind the counter when they'd entered and he'd never had pie before. Demetra meanwhile was on Rouge's shoulder, cooing happily in the woman's mind. The baby ghost was excited to be going places and there seemed to be something else she was looking for. Bouncing a bit and clinging to her wand, the ghost seemed to be looking in the direction of the people sitting in the booth behind theirs. Turning around Rouge noticed a woman with a funny arm band. Diyaka however was the one to notice the wand.

"Ooh! Ooh! She's got a wand baby like you do Mommy!" he said pointing at Nessalyn and tugging on his Mama's sleeve. Diyaka wasn't one for subtlety.

The shouted words 'wand baby' caught the woman's sharp ears, and her head swiveled to see a young boy, a woman about her age, and, of course, a ghostling. Holding a small wand, much like her own. Sighing a bit inwardly, Nessalyn stood and smiled, making herself as approachable as she could.

Gesturing a hand, she indicated that the small family was welcome to join her if they were so inclined. She'd only gotten tea so far, so it wouldn't be any inconvenience.

Rouge smiled kindly and sat down with Nessalyn at her table.

Dia was excited to introduce the two babies, though he didn't quite get how to do that. Reaching up he helped the little ghostling and her wand slide onto his hand. He lowered the little thing so that he could be nearer to the other. "This is Demetra. She's a gogo" Dia told the woman and baby with a nod.

"Gorgon." Rouge corrected her son. "Hi I'm Rouge, that's my son Diyaka, and as he said that's Demetra"

She had to laugh at the boy. He was cute, reminded her a bit of her one nephew, Alty. That, and how was the kid to know that gogos were a bad slanderous term for loose women?

Holding out her hand first to the little boy, then his mother, she grinned. "I'm Nessalyn Sharthavis. This is Vilia....I uh. Well. She's a Stormwing." Not that she'd ever heard of a gorgon. Was it perhaps some kind of loose man? Doubtful.

"Strange that I keep seeing wand-owners around here. We must all live close to that blasted shop."

"I actually live no where near it. I was just visting a friend there and a man asked me to touch the book and I got assigned the gorgon. I'm not familiar with creatures from this world. What is a stormwing?" she said cheerfully.
