Nobodies are hard to deal with because of the no heart thing and that they can only remember emotions (supposedly), but with Zexaeus you can also work in a former partnership while they still had the ability to have deeper feelings.
Lexaeus also seems kinda broody, but tolerates Zexion even when he playfully jabs him with things like "what, I don't even get a hello?" (he says this while smirking, not frowning, by the way). You can see that they're fairly casual with each other from that line, even though they're both kinda stiff the rest of the time. That's a type of chemistry.
I also just can't see Zemyx chemistry. Despite the "opposites attract" thing, which works in some cases, I can't see Demyx wanting to mess with any of the higher ups, especially one of the original six. He'd probably be too intimidated, and considering how powerful Zexion is, I don't think he'd bother spreading his light hearted attitude in that general direction. I really don't think he cares enough, or else there probably would be signs that the Organization was having some meaningful interaction with him.
Zexion also doesn't strike me as getting to know Demyx for more opposite reasons, and with both of them being indifferent to each other, I just can't see the pairing.

I'd just like to mention, I love debating stupid stuff like this, and I have no beef with you or Zemyx, really. I love all pairings that are written well or drawn well, and are in character.

I didn't see it as Zexion as being playful or flirty, I saw it as him being sarcastic. The only thing I'll give Zexion and Lexaeus was they were the only ones who remained loyal to organization... If anything I saw much more between Vexen and Lexaeus rather than Zexion and Lexaeus...
