It will be alright. My friend's mom was sick for a very long time and we all knew she was going very soon, so it was no surprise. She and I made plans to get together next week. My sister's appendicitis didn't require surgery (this time), so it's all good. She lives next door so will likely be over a few times tonight, but not for drinks. I'll drink beer with Peter. LOL! It's too late to call more friends and family now. We only invited those two because Patty is my friend whose daughter just died on Nov. 30. She didn't want a big crowd. So all is as it should be for tonight. Patty's mom's suffering is ended after years of Alzheimers. Her peace will ring in the new year, says Patty. Nice! heart
